split screen 2 player gta v?

so i recently came across the 2 players mod by Benjamin99 which allowed 2 players to play in a single pc and it was awsome but it had no split screen and shared screen is alwaya terrible. It qas mentioned in his forum that split screen was done but the controls were messed up and so i was wondering if anyone can bring the dead mod back by split screen feature which will be awsome. Infact the best mod for many players who play with buddies together.
