...eh, that's a fair outcome.

 

Looking forward to the next round - if it's unarmed Pegasus vehicles, my money's on the Ruiner 2000...

When these games get down to the last few options all the childish comments come out, including my own, instead of the often informative comments of the earlier rounds. Personally, I don't see how people can congratulate a sedan winning a sports car elimination game just because they don't like its competitor, the Elegy Retro Custom. But it's just a game and the Schafter was the survivor of it.

Shafter wouldn't have been my choice as it barely belongs in this class but it's a top car so can't exactly get mad about it. The Elegy did well and deservedly so as its inspiration is a legend in the history of cars and the GTA version does it justice.

 

Glad the Tropos didn't win, this game has helped me realise I really don't like much about it other than the pop up headlights which are obviously sexy as hell.

 

Good game once again and I like seeing dat passion for dem cars.

Or how about a Sedans Elimination Game? There are 28 of them I believe. Or even a Sedans + Coupés Game, with a total of 42 cars.

Only reason Schafter is in sports is because it's fast as f*ck. Technically it's a sports sedan but really it's just a luxobarge with a big fat engine with too much power and torque for the underchanged underpinnings to handle. I mean I love it but it's not necessarily a driver's car which the sports category is about to me. I regard this class as the sweet spot of motoring. You want more power? Super. But this is all about handling dynamics. And that's why the Schafter is kind of a weird choice imo.

Yeah all jokes aside the Elegy Retro definitely deserved to make it thus far, just came down to individuals and timing.

 

This was a very enjoyable elimination game because it was so unpredictable. It was really informative to see how the forum felt about this class of vehicles two years (approx.) since the original Sports Class Elimination Game. So many people participated too (40 pages!) which was great to see. Appreciate the strong replies all around.

I agree. It was one of the best, most informative and entertaining elimination games I've played, with lots of new and returning players to boost it along. Well done everybody on making this one of the most consistent threads in the GTA online forums.
