The Specter was underwhelming; did not live up to the hype IMO.

Out of all my old sports cars the Feltzer and Comet are the two that get the most road time. Me in the Feltzer racing in Down the Drain was how I'd spend a lot of my time and make a lot of money (relatively) back when GTAO came out. I quite like its looks although I get why people don't, but apart from that it's a great drive and very fast.


Indeed. It's one of those cars where you get behind the wheel and everything comes together. A solid performer in this class.

Don't get me wrong...It's a very good car (even though I perform better in the Massacro Racecar) but the thing about it...is that it tends to build huge egos.

 

I once got reported for cheating when I thrashed a few in my Comet. Apparently I'm supposed to lose when going against one.

About time the Feltzer received some love from me.

I love the Schafter V12 but honestly the only reason it's in the Sports class is because it would be overpowered in the Sedans class.

It's funny isn't it, all these new sports cars that cost you a fortune, yet the two fastest cost $130,000 for the pair and have been in the game from day one.

 

Only according to Broughy of course but the point still stands.

That's his opinion, and a good one at that. But if the Elegy RH8 didn't exist I could happily live with that. I don't love the car, but appreciate it's prowess, the fact it's FREE to members of the Rockstar Social Club and that it's loved and respected by many GTA online players. But for me, the Feltzer and Jester Racecars are in a different league of handling and nimbleness. You don't need to intricately know circuits when driving these cars, and most people can get to grip with them pretty quickly. Maybe that's because of my in-game driving style, my taste, but the Elegy RH8 is pretty clumsy IMO.

I agree, I've never enjoyed the RH8 or been fast around a track with it. Retro all the way for me. In a serious race I'll probably go Jester or Massacro unless I'm feeling especially confident in which case I'll pick Feltzer. Just a little bit more prone for that rear end to start making its presence known when you don't want it to.

Trough a 'glith' (that seems to be patched now?!) I have been able to test drive&mod the retro elegy in creator, but I just don't like it. Besides, it's brother is FREE and better... so (-2) for that one

 

 

I recently stole a feltzer off the streets (what else to do when playing Fortified in invite only sesion?), and it just felt(zer, hehe) good; the looks, the sound, the performance. .. so (+1) for that.

The Schafter V12 is probably one of my most driven cars. The drive is just so much more fun compared to most other sports cars. As for the Feltzer, it is another case of having a car ruined by adding a forced widebody.

Really though, where is all this Carbonizzare hate (dislike? (distaste?)) coming from?
