You're also kind of wonky. Its like me saying "oops someone almost got my bounty, good thing i hit the reset button on my console.. HAHAH " Well ya.. sooo what. If everyone did that, the game would be dull as a f*ck,. I can only imagine a game with 30 players with your mentality. Everyone tries to start FL, Some random gets up in the Ruiner 1st.. 29 people leave the game. YAY! Da Elite Ninjah

Fennimoe
The only reason I am so good at everything in this game (except racing) is because I literally have all the time in the world to play. I am a stay at home dad, and my business is run from home. My wife works as a kindergarten teacher, so for 8 hours a day, it's just me and the boy. I know almost everything in/about GTA better than any other game I have ever played. Edited April 2, 2017 by Fennimoe SHADOW OPS

Blasterman4EVER
After having played the VIP Ruiner a few times, I've learned a couple things that really stick out to me, just random thoughts: 1. Shoot a jet once, he dies. Shoot him twice, you kill him. A distinction with a difference ;-) 2. When the 2-man insurgent comes, get out of the Ruiner and start shooting, and hope you get both of them before they run you over or shoot you. You will always kill at least one of them if not both this way. Or you can just avoid them by jumping bridges and going onto different streets, which negates the insurgent's slight speed advantage, if they even have one. 3. Off the radar and ghost work very well. Wasn't sure if it would be the type of situation where like if you go off the radar while carrying special cargo or driving a hold the wheel or something like that, your icon still shows and it's funny because you can still find them when they think you can't. 4. When someone else kills someone else within a few blocks of where you're driving, regardless of your speed or lack thereof, be very careful because Rockstar likes to spawn the player right ahead of you, and they always seem to have the machine gun firing bullets at you as they come back to life. If you killed someone, don't worry, Rockstar will spawn them away from you. It's the others that you have to be careful of. They get you every time. The only thing I can tell you is to just watch the radar and jump as soon as you see the blip, but on multiple occasions I have been shot by a newly spawned player before they even show up on the radar. 5. Wearing a bulletproof helmet doesn't help reduce your risk of being shot while driving the VIP Ruiner. 6. Unless the jet griefer is talented enough to fly directly down from above and shoot at you, the jet is toast against the Ruiner. And even in the former scenario, they do have to pull up, and you can maybe get a shot off sometimes and disable them. 7. I highly recommend you place a prox bomb in the middle of the helipad driveway and over at the base of the west ladder of the hospital, the two most popular Hydra spawn points. This will further frustrate those who want to try to fight back against you. The cool thing is that ever since they introduced prox bombs, the prox bombs stay, magically regenerating even after having exploded, as long as you (the player who placed them) aren't "around" (for lack of a better term) when they go off. Also I think they have to explode via someone coming into proximity with them for them to magically regenerate. If someone spies them and shoots them, then I think they are gone for good. You might want to recruit your best friends as associates if they are in the lobby when you do this, or at least warn them to watch for prox, otherwise you will be getting some kills against your crewmates and friends that you would rather not have. 8. Be careful not to shoot your crew. When set to strangers, it won't lock onto friends but will lock onto crew. 9. Everyone goes on foot and hangs out with each other within minutes of me launching the Ruiner VIP mission. Not much I can do with the car when they do that. But a nice option that seems counterintuitive is to call for your tank and then go ghost and just shoot all the players on foot, who tend to congregate, by the way. So you just leave your Ruiner sit idle and take advantage of the 20-minute window to go on a tank rampage where the cops never end your party early, and you never get bad sport points nor insurance payments for all the destruction you cause. I suppose you could do that with a hydra, as well. I'd only do that if I look at the map and no one in the entire southern half is driving a car, and everyone is congregated. Hey, someone should try this, and I'm down to help if you want to PM me: Get a cargobob and then start Ruiner VIP and see if a friend can pick up the Ruiner with the cargobob and then you sit in the ruiner and just spam missiles at everyone and everything. Although the cargo is an easy homing missile target, so maybe that is not a good idea after all. Fantastic. houstoneagle

I've had the Ruiner 2000 since it came out and i've missed several people, even with a lock on them. I've missed cars racing towards me that have gotten too close for the rocket to hit. Cars that have gone round corners so the rocket has hit something else like a building. I've taken down several jets and choppers, but some jets have been able to evade my rockets. I've even evaded Ruiner 2000 rockets in my jet when i've had one try to get me.

They need to buff the homing OFF missiles. It's extremely painful to land a rocket on a divebomber, a jet while jumping off a mountain and several more jets all without homing and not get the kill. I got 2 jets, though, but I want more. Edited April 3, 2017 by Sinner's Rise
fw3
• no one is better than me at flying a buzzard. • I am an expert at sticky bombing people from a moving vehicle. • I cannot defeat the Ruiner 2000. • with my non-lock on missiles, I am very, very deadly accurate. Does anyone have some expert tips and strategies? Here's my expert tips and strategies, but based on the four bullet points above, I'm not convinced you need them. You sound pretty OP, yourself. 1. When Ruiner 2000 drives or floats by, shoot the driver. 2. Look on mini map for special vehicle icons. Avoid them. 3. Interactive Menu > Enable Passive Mode. 4. Fly Buzzard above and behind Ruiner 2000. Never fly ahead of or in front of Ruiner 2000. 5. Do not taunt Ruiner 2000. 6. Ruiner 2000 contains lead and may be dangerous to children. 7. Never leave Ruiner 2000 plugged in and unattended. 8. Ruiner 2000 forgets what 8 was for. 9. Should Ruiner 2000 leak, move to a safe distance and call 9-1-1. 10. Remember that every death you die at the hands of Ruiner 2000 becomes a part of you, and stays with you forever. I hope this was helpful. Cheers!
