Your Favourite Time of Day

I believe there is a similar thread for weather but couldn't find one for the times of day, hence why I have created one

 

So, quite simple. As the title says, what is your favourite time of day in GTA: Online and why? Do you like the lighting, the views, do you like it when it's dark, bright? I'm sure there are many reasons

 

If you're up to it, post a pic of the time of day too

 

So, I created the thread; it's only right if I start

 

My favourite time of day is around 05:00am, early morning. I like how there is some light, but still a few dark patches around and you still need headlights. It's also a great time of day for photos

As long as the sun is up I'm happy.

 

 

Here's a picture that's kinda random but is my ideal time of day I suppose. The sun is shining, perfect for a nice drive or taking some pictures.

 

 

I'm going to say 6:00-20:00.

For me its night.

 

I can see better.. I love the city lights and darkness.. Even in real life im like that. The night is always my friend.. lol

 

But in GTA i also love the darkness.. i use it as camo and blend in with shadows.. in alley ways and bushes and side walks. Turning off head lights and vanish.

Early morning around sunrise and then just after. Especially in Sandy Shores area.

The light is all diffused, pink and warm, then it goes foggy and white. I just wander round with headphones on and the ambient noise up loud.

 

It's very calming and gives me a few goosebumps.

I love the night hours of the game. The city really glows and I love the vibe it gives off when Im cruising around the streets or in my glowing shotaro.

My ultimate favorite is night time with gold superior glasses in FPV, I wish I could add that effect in 3rd person it gets rid of the blue tint on everything so well IMO!

Interesting topic, never thought about this too much before! I really enjoy sunrise and the early morning myself. Just seeing the sun rise after a dark night is a nice sight to behold, especially around the time that the car lights automatically shut off.

Night time is my favorite but the game always looks great. I just like to switch to first person view and tap the share button to take screenshots, I haven't used snapmatic since ps3. (Besides, if I ever need to edit them I can do it on my PC.. that's where my screenshots/vids get copied to anyway)

 

I'll definitely upload them one day.. but I'm waiting to take more. It just happens at random times whenever I'm playing.

 

 

 

Eventually I'm gonna have some posters made from PosterBurner.com

A few of them will be for the nice views, and the rest of them will be creative shots involving kills/explosions/cars etc. Because I wanna keep the memories around for when the game isn't

IRL, I get up around 4:30-5am, so it's only natural that my favorite time of day in-game is the same.

 

Not to mention, my addiction to dark, strong coffee (no cream or sugar, thank you) often has me going to sleep fantasizing about the cup I'm going to have the next morning.

So, naturally, if you see me in Los Santos, expect me to be at my most chipper in the brisk pulse of the mornin', complete with befuddled look on my face.

no! That's the worst just 5 more minutes I don't want to get up!!!

I like those ultra-clear nights that happen sometimes. Bright moon, barely any clouds. Flying over the woods looks fantastic

 

The rainstorms are a close second.

Definitely the golden hour but also the blue hour by dusk in Blaine County looks good.

 

Sunrise and sunset are just my favorite times of a day because they give the softest light and much more interesting shadows. My absolute favorite times to photograph in game just aswell as real life.

My favorite time(s) would have to be around 8 a.m. to noon (for a certain gang attack I frequent), as well as some dark areas at night (and inside the mine shaft), so I can actually use the flashlights on my Advanced Rifle and Night Vision goggles.
