Your thoughts on Biker Melee?

So now that its been around for bit.. and people have had a chance to play it.. Whats you thoughts on it?

For me.. At 1st.. I kind of hated the fact that it was not an instant kill.

But now...I like the fact that its not instant kill. im loving the running clothes line from hell. I mean really.. It looks like this.

After the 1st wack.. They go rag dollin'. You can then mount them and smack them more. While they sit there with a stupid look on their faces.. Its Greaaat!

Sure it high risk. But i don't care.. A great melee kill is always the highlight of the night for me.

Please by all means Post any of your melee biker kills here.. I mean, i got a ton!!.. But i wanna see other works of arts.

I use it to randomly hit vehicles as I pass by. Really wish we could do it missions though :(

while prefer compact rifle and compact GL for Hit-N-Runs , i generally toyed around with melees ( which allows your character to kick someone's vehicle quicker than on-foot and it awesome as it sound IF you're character prefer to go barefooted )

I love it,it reminds me of Road Rash.I often kick cars that almost crash into me (especially if the NPC drivers start honking the horn or insulting me),or kick those hillbilly thugs that ride near my clubhouse off their dirt bikes (which sometimes turns out to be a bad idea, since they're often armed,so if they manage to stay on their bikes they start shooting),or hit pedestrians with a hammer or a hatchet...

I noticed that when Bikers came out you could use the biker melee while in passive (still can't hit other players).

They "fixed" that when Import/Export came out.

But I want to shoot left and right rather than melee left and right when equipped with a firearm.

like this

Would be pretty cool and I think I've seen it in GTA: San Andreas.

I wish it was optional. Some bikes don't get a speed bonus from wheelies (namely hakuchou drag and shotaro), so leaning forward is the way to go for them. I always used to just press the "a" button on my controller, since pushing the stick forwards makes it kinda awkward to steer (for me anyways). That's not an option in freemode anymore, unless you go passive. But going passive when there's no reason to is stupid. So, if only it could be turned off. The additional weapons i gotta scroll through on my bikes kinda annoy me as well. :|

Yupp, there were no free-aim in SA (in vehicles), you could only fire straight left or right, or ahead if on a bike.

Deadpool the movie.

Hope people post some melee vids... Real love watching them. Hopefully some cool sh*t to watch during work.

Heres one from me.. Not a great 1st hit.. But the death is priceless.

A suicide player just killed himself while trying to kill me... He Respawned.. I went in on him. Traffic knocked him down.. and set him up. So i mounted him and had my way with him.

I sent him that clip in a message that said. "Twerk 4 me baby"

He got really angry with me after that..lol

I have fun doing the MC challenge Criminal Mischief using the Melee attacks! XD

I would like joust more if the stupid Uzis didn't spawn in the middle, thus f*cking up your weapon selection whist riding.

few things more amusing (to me) then doing a super slow wheelie on a manchez and wacking my crewmates with a crowbar when they least expect it.

I'm glad it's not a one hit kill, and it is one of my favorite additions to gtao. that and bare feet.

Nobody likes to spam X/Square to get the right weapon while on a bike or in a car.

Would this work?

Hold X/Square to open a weapon wheel and chose from the selection with the left stick.

It brings back Road Rash memories (which is awesome), but being in auto aim limits what you can do to people on foot.

It's definitely an incentive to play in free aim.

It's fun, pisses off NPCs and it's good for goofing around in general.

Love the option...barely use it.

The bike is better off used as a defensive weapon anyhow

A much welcome addition.

Also quite humorous doing a side to side "melee dance" when no weapon is equipped.

I like it but rarely remember to use. In the beginning I was mad because it took the same alternate button to lean forward. Still have the left analog stick but I'd preferred the button.

Well i can easily disagree about it being better as a defensive weapons. To actually kill players with it, you need to mix it up.

I mean heres me last night. . In the span of 30 seconds.. I go defensive and go on offense twice.

If all I did was play defensive... I wouldn't get any melee kills.

Yea it can be done...but pretty much advice would be not to in general...unless both you and the oponent have the same aim settings maybe.

Well for me.. I only play FA.. And i have to deal with AA there..

The rules change on how you do it.

For an AA player.. It becomes a game of attention spans, distance and blip work,

if someone has AA.. And i really.. really want to nail them with a melee weapons.. Il go across the whole city.. wait a few minutes.. Watch their blip. Then go off the radar.. then make a running dash toward them. The chances of them spamming LT in the 1 second im on their screen is very.. very.. low.

Heres a video pretty much explaining it...lol

I mean.. thats pretty much what i do if i have too.

I would have reserved that x+rb/lb game mechanic for indicators on cars.

Whats an indicator.... Like little arrows point on cars.

Sounds useless to me.. Pretty much a waste of button mapping. Melee weapons on bikes provide much more entertainment.

I mean for me.. Every Jet troll that annoys me in anyway gets melee smashed at least once after they get grounded. Just to prove a point to them...lol
