Remove Office Clutter

All the topics I can find on this are months or years old. Has Rockstar ever commented on this? Any way to remove clutter from offices? I'd love to get a warehouse and start doing crates, but its not worth making my office look like a total sh*thole.

For some reason mine just disappeared one day. At least the stacks of money did. It was gone for months and not until I upgraded my small warehouse to a medium warehouse did it start to reappear.

 

I kinda like the warehouse clutter not the money so much. If it were real and I had a warehouse full of booze, drugs, and high end art I'd totally skim some of that for myself. I think the money would be cool if it were tied to your bank account. It was frustrating as hell after I bought my Yacht and was left with just a few thousand dollars to go to my Office and find millions in decorative cash just lying around.

At this point I just think R* somehow doesn't realize that not all players like the clutter (especially considering how stupidly absurd it gets if you do any real grinding with the warehouses). We've had the Bikers update, where our new clubhouses also get the impossible to remove clutter forced in, and the import/export update didn't add the option to remove it either, it's a shame because I just outright hate almost every bit of the clutter. Ideally we'd be able to toggle each part of the clutter on/off, but I'd be more than ok with just getting the option to get rid of the stupid crap.

I remember every time a patch or DLC came out, first thing I'd do is race to my office and talk to the assistant in case there was an option to clean it up.

The money everywhere looks childish af and the contraband starts off as ok, then spirals into ridiculous.

I just want a little toggle, even if you had to pay 10-25k to switch money/contraband on/off.

At the very least it would be nice if they added a toggle to have varying degrees of clutter, from none all the way up to full blown hoarder status.

I went broke and all the money disappeared, not the drugs and other illegal things nobody would keep in their office, that for some reason aren't for sale. I heard if you switch offices it still stays

From what I've read the money will vary based on how much you've made from the crate sales and how much you have in your bank account. It accumulates up to 20 million (max money will be shown on the floor) but will go down as your bank account amount drops below that (and then reappear as you get more money up to that 20 million even if it's from other means than crate sales.)

 

Unfortunately crate sales themselves are the only thing that affects the initial money build up.

There was a glitch that removed it, but was expensive & didn't always work ... I couldn't get it to work.

 

As Foxwolfe above mentioned, the money laying around is dynamic. it reflects how much you earned from crate work & how much you have ... tops out once you reach 30 Million dollars & starts disappearing gradually as your bank account dips below that. Even the money in the safe (if you own one) starts disappearing once you dip below 1 Million dollars & completely vanishes if you are broke. The merchandise will remain forever though.

 

 

may suggest doing Vehicle Cargo (Import\Export) instead or Crate work? just as profitable, but much easier & doesn't have unwanted side effects ... I.e. office mess.

Hold it! Vehicle cargo work does not add dollars to your office? I'd have never started crate work if I knew it'd bypass the office mess.

 

I did send several email suggestions on this to Rockstar previously at the very least giving us the option to hide the clutter but not looking likely. The same happens with the MC clubhouse

everything starts cluttering the club room so I think it unlikely.

I'll gladly sign any petition, angry letter to R*, or anything else that could potentially help rid us all of the office clutter. Yeah, I know it's just a game, but it's beyond f*cking annoying and there needs to be a way to get rid of it entirely.

Yep! Doesn't add crap at all. I just checked my brother's account (he does Import\Export only) & the clutter\cash in office didn't increase beyond the stuff he got before quitting CEO work (he filled a small warehouse 3 times).

The amount of money on the floor is dependent on how much you have ib your bank I believe. I may be wrong about that but it seems when I'm low on cash the money will disappear.

The money in your office is from your money in pocket or bank, the money is also from Crate work.

It makes zero sense to have your cash thrown around on the floor or even have illegal narcotics sitting in plain view, you're basically begging the police to storm down your office and arrest you.

 

Rockstar made it this way because they know that the 12 year olds that infest this game would love looking like those criminal rappers on VEVO who brag about their riches and not-so-legal activities, and even though the "aesthetic" can easily be enabled/disabled via toggle options, Rockstar refuses to do so.

I wish I could toggle off the cargo clutter but keep the money. I actually don't mind having the money laying around, reminds me of how successful my business is, but having random items all over the place is annoying.

I don't like all the tv's and things like that. The guns and coke are fine, but the rest could go for all I care.
