RyanBurnsRed Posted May 2, 2018 Share Posted May 2, 2018 So I followed this guide and it worked great. The key step was setting LaunchGTAIV in Windows 7 compatibility mode to get it work right. You could try going into the xlive.ini and scroll down to where it says Online Profile = 1 Change that to 0 and then under that you can choose where to store "offline" GFWL saves....maybe...I'm not sure Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Re-installed the game from scratch and get "invalid resource detected" now. At least I'm not alone on this one. Update: For me only works on patch 8, launching it on patch 7 gives me the error. zanesix Posted May 23, 2018 Share Posted May 23, 2018 I fixed that a long time ago, it was becuase I didn't have Windows 7 compatibility mode enabled IIRC. Tomas. Posted September 25, 2018 Author Share Posted September 25, 2018 Ultimate ASI Loader has the same code as catspaw's XLiveless if you use it as xlive.dll, so it's able to load the DLCs too. XLivelessAddon is required on Patch 6/7 for the DLCs to work, on Patch 8 it's highly recommended, otherwise you'll run into SecuROM triggers in some missions that'll prevent you from finishing. Like some mods that have a GTA IV edition and a EFLC edition. Also goes for iCEnhancer 3.0, which has a IV and a EFLC edition. Which do I choose? In my case, in TLAD I see only 2 shows - history of Liberty and republican space rangers. Shouldn't I be able to watch all of the shows? Btw, I installed Visual IV for all of my games and it's working all right. I'm looking to play GTA IV again, and my previous playthrough with this mod was halted since the game always crashes in IV, aftert the opening cutscene of the Francis mission, Bait. Any other mods that lets other content (Vehicles and weapons) to be shared across games with this thread's method? I also managed to make work SNT and script for more variety in traffic. Don't need anything else. I don't like changing cars or any other major modifications.
