I'm new to gta online and I wanted to know the fastest way to increase my ammo capacity

Increase your shooting stats. Play a few rounds of Survival and get plenty of headshots. It'll go up in no time.

Trust me, it may seem important now but in like 2 weeks when they're all maxed out you'll wonder why you thought it was such a big deal.

Yep, this mostly.

You can also go to the shooting range or empty some mags on tires.

Shooting Range > set number of challenges to Unlimited > under heavy weapon category, choose minigun > under challenges, choose Random Targets. Shoot all targets as fast as you can. It took me about 45min to have full shooting stats.

the lower the shooting stat the less ammo you can carry.

 

my mainguy can carry 9999 while my low level, low stats second character can carry less than 300 rounds

OP, go to Ammuntion and buy bigger clips/drums for your weapons.

Hi @Mach1bud, they are referring to your character creation/selection, where, in the Stats menu, you'll see:

 

SHOOTING:

Your skill in handling various firearms. Dampens recoil, reduces reload time, and increases ammo capacity. Increase by landing hits on enemies.

 

There is a discussion about Stats and how they affect gameplay already on the forum. Just an FYI.

Remember in 2013/2014 when just punching parked cars raised your strength stats? lol!

And sneaking up and thugging AFK players, over and over, raised your stealth!?

I increased my stelth by soloing a GTA race/no wanted levels and sneaking behind NPCS then shooting them in the head with a silenced pistol...then I just beat the ever living crap out of them to bump my strength.

If he knew how to buy guns, then I'm sure he knew how to buy extra magazines. Doesn't take a fkn genius to figure that one out. LOL
