Claude and maybe Niko are the only normal looking parent options

since we talking about parent options, can somebody tell which parents they've used for this particular character?

 

 

The mom used is Amelia. I cant see the dad.

 

As for the OP, all the dads are pretty ugly especially Claude and Niko. lol The key is to use more of the mom to smooth out the rough features. As for females, Hannah and Charlotte also produce some nice characters. I've seen a few good Misty characters too. Here is mine with Charlotte as the mom.

Niko characters look like muppets. The eyes are extremely far apart and the nose is bigger than the aircraft carrier in the EMP mission. Claude is literally a greaser caveman. I'm going to stick with girl characters. At least they're pleasant to look at.

Claude? Anybody who chooses him as a parent ends up with a caveman forehead and an isosceles triangle-shaped chin. The Claude in this game looks nothing like the original Claude. As for Niko, you get a huge inflated nose, and you'll still look nothing like him if you try to resemble him as much as possible.

 

I'll add to Jack's photo of how bad Rockstar is at making characters, just look at the guy on the right for God's sake.

 

Those are the most unique decent looking characters I've ever seen.

i don't mean to jump into the race baiting/whining esque type thing but i also noticed it's almost impossible to make attractive non-white characters especially female. I've tried making a mulatto/creole before, as you use the skin-tone slider the skin doesn't change tone or anything it just get's darker as if you were using a brightness tool and wrinkles/lines become more visible. Its already hard to make attractive or normal looking character period but there are only about 5 ok looking parents out of what? 30? And they're mostly white.

A friend of mine uses Amelia with a bit of a tan. I think it's one of the best characters I've seen.

Never was a fan of this character system, too much limitations, barely any freedom. Everyone ends up looking the same. Hopefully after hearing all the feedback, future titles have more offerings when it comes to your character. Identity has always been a #1 for me when it comes to MMO's,

Well I guess it all boils down to a persons definition of "pretty" and how a person of any specific race should look.

 

I just know that it is possible to create very nice looking characters, both male and female of any race, it just takes a lot of time and work. It is understandable that most people don't give it that effort though, due to the way the character creator is designed. I definitely agree it needs to be better next time.

I must be one of the few who used Elizabeth as the mother; though I don't remember the father--it definitely wasn't Claude or Niko though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It would be nice to see a heavily revamped version of the character creator in the next instalment though.

The character creator is dumb, and the parent system needs to go. Buuuuuut there are a bunch of combos that work for both sexes, they're just out numbered by the combos that really don't work. If you put in the time you can figure it out, but as a quick 5-10 min creator it's pretty difficult to make anything unique or "good looking".

Nope. It wasn't Tommy, it was Niko. LG only, on NG release they made him available to everyone, along with other special edition content.

No way man. As much as i love niko,claude not so much but anyways they make your character ugly. Now for me i believe as far as a male character goes sophia and benjamin make you have like a pretty young looking guy witch makes sense considering our characters aren't like old dudes lol

My female character uses Claude as her father. I think she's fairly attractive, but need to tweak the cheek sunken in amount a lil less.
