How to swap existing engine sounds in SA

thats alot to deal with actually, first get a modloader then alcis SAAT GUI, using the latter you extract from SFX>GENRL needed sounds using this guide. BUT first you have to learn a bit to

(download is in that random video as well), ignore the inserting sounds part (it's glitchy to actually replace game audio) instead you put into modloader folder the folder called GENRL and put bank### folders you extracted in there! Then there you switch the sounds, easiest way is putting in first bank folder and switch the bank folder names (keep one folder in other loaction for name swapping to avoid replacing other one) and this is kinda like vehicle id swap but its only for audio folders loaded by modloader. I actually read a lot about doing that with the GUI editor, and I tried doing that myself, but I couldn't figure out what sound bank the Nebula was. However, many people say that you can do that by simply modifying the handling.cfg file, however I have a lot of knowledge about handling.cfg and know that there is no way to change the sound from there.

There seems to be the unfortunate misunderstanding that this part (GTA San Andreas) has modding as a feature.

Take Note (as in this section forums rules) That MODDING has its OWN specialized section.

The GTA San Andreas Menu “Subforums” even lists it as: GTA Mods.
