Introducing the new Anti-Hydra / Lazer Hunter Killer Aircraft

XB-23 Falcon

 

 

 

Type: Air to Air Combat Stealth Aircraft

 

Payload: High-velocity Sparrow Missiles / No Cannon

 

Warstock Cache and Carry Price: $15,000,000.00

 

Armor : NONE

 

Gameplay Online:

 

-This stealth jet only attacks Jets indiscriminately<-(any fixed wing aircraft). Not helicopters.

 

-The payload of high velocity sparrow missiles are faster than the missiles that the Hydra/Lazer carry but have a higher chance of missing its target.

 

-Homing/Non-Homing missile options are available.

 

-There are No Explosive cannons on-board.

 

-XB-23 Falcon can fly alittle faster than the Hydra but cannot turn as well as the Hydra or Lazer.

 

-The radar blip is reduced and will appear on radar for 10 seconds and dissappear off radar for 5 seconds - this will be on permanant intervals.

 

Homing Launchers are disabled when in range of the stealth jet. **

id rather just have my blip not show up.. to jets. That alone would make jets less of a trolls toy.

 

 

Having to go get another jet .. to deal with another jet. Only because that jet is horribly unbalanced due to explosive cannons and always on blips.. Just seems overly complicated in a game like GTA.

 

 

The simple way of doing things always make more sense.. To me anyways.

You will be lucky to hit a hydra or lazer with that before you get blown up. All dependent upon if the person flying the hydra or lazer is a really good pilot.

Well I'm not a game designer and these ideas are rough estimates, I would expect rockstar to make it good enough to do its job but not Overpowered as phuk.

Why would you? It's a class cannon aircraft. Its not supposed to be the "Be all you can be" aircraft that no one can enjoy a public session.

Putting such an overpowering weapon/vehicle in the game, especially at this point, would only lead to another 4,012 posts in the B&M thread about Stealth griefers.

Now, should they, perhaps, add a presence mode, like Passive, called, Butthurt Retaliatory Get-Even Mode? Yes, for those players who refuse to go into Passive and will be dammmed if some 12 year old in a jet is gonna ruin their day!

Just saying, is all.

I'm not really a big fan of jets, but I reckon it should be added as another option rather than a counter against the others. What I really think should be added are flares to ALL jets, modern aircraft and helicopters.

If you say so, get another player to join you and fly as an escort for you. The skies aren't meant to be a safe haven, no different than being on the streets.

I've taken down my share of Jets in a Buzzard, you need the right approach, a little luck on our side perhaps, that is all. Helicopters definetly hold their place in air to air combat. There's no such thing as real dog fighting between Jet users in GTA Online anyways 98% percent of the time.

 

Besides my point still remains, 15 million on a vehicle with imposed restrictions and a sole purpose, no thanks.

Well, the title of your post and the subject of the content is to add an "anti Hydra/Lazer" plane to the mix.

That, to me, suggests that you (or others) have had your (their) gameplay affected by players using a Hydra/Lazer and are calling for something to rally against (the definition of "anti") those jets.

 

So, while my comment was more from the perspective of someone on the ground being affected by jet griefing, it could apply to anyone using a jet with nefarious intent.

And though I do like the idea of your proposed vehicle (it would, indeed, be awesome), I just don't imagine they'd ever implement something like that at this point – I could be wrong, of course!

 

Also, here's a thread that discusses another option in countering Hydra/Lazer overlords, for what it's worth. Might be a good read (or not).

Why do i have to rely on another player, just because some cnut thinks he's gotta attack an unarmed aircraft (in which you may not even be able to go passive) with his overpowered jet? There's absolutely no point to add another jet, that ruins normal aircrafts even more and doesn't do anything against lazers and hydras..

Besides that, thread title says "anti lazer and hydra stealth plane", the idea to add a new aircraft that can take out those is great, but allowing it to shoot at normal planes, that idea just sucks.
