Let's admit it: Did you slaughter players? If yes, when and why?

I used to do it quite often in the first half year of the game. Was mostly doing it to unlock all the LSPD tints and to walk around with a tattoo on my face for getting 500 headshots;)

I really enjoyed it back then because most battles were fair. First few months were the absolute best when the most OP thing anyone would do was to get into a SWAT car with a few guys. Started to get a lot less enjoyable when everyone would get the near indestructable Rhino constantly, and the fun was over for me when R* killed the Heavy Sniper.

In the past 2.5 years I've got about the same total pk's as in those first months.

Very rarely do I get into pvp now, mostly only when someone deserves to be shot in the face.

Well I made my way around the city and the north part of the map every now and then with a friend, shooting people on sight. Most of the time it wasn't that we were looking for trouble.

But if you're not in passive mode (or well, you're on PS3 and passive mode sucked) in a public session and you want to stay alive, you will shoot at that unknown player coming towards you.

Never enjoyed PvP too much on my own. Not just because my chance at victory is a lot smaller but also because I just prefer online activities with at least one friend more than on my own.

But with or without a friend, I've never gone crazy and just started causing mayhem all over the place with armoured or armed vehicles. I bought the Ruiner 2000 a day or two ago and I might give that a try, but I'll probably get shot out of it as I'm pretty bad with it. And even IF I am not and I manage to rack up a bunch of kills, I'll more than likely feel bad over taking down easy targets and not repeat it too often or ever again.

About the Ruiner 2k, I think that if people could use it in contact missions at least, maybe a couple of people would choose not to go on a rampage with it. Give them something to do, you know.

This whole month I've spent my time filling up my cocaine factory with supplies and then heading over to my VIP Office and sitting on the roof sniping anyone who's flying around in a jet or griefing with helis/tanks. I like the heavy sniper that does pretty good job of taking out aerial a-holes with just a few rounds shot at the right place.

Sometimes it causes funny scenarios where I shoot a jet guy from a mile away and he doesn't know who's shooting at him so he goes on a rampage mode trying to kill everybody else beneath him while being totally oblivious to the fact that I'm doing it from the roof of a building. :D Then the guys killed below for no fault of theirs get mad at the jet and they all take aim at him and the whole lobby starts to riot :D

Never. I'm not a dick. I don't attack anyone (much less the entire lobby) unless I have a legitimate reason to.

I go after the nearest player regardless of rank etc...If they play with integrity we battle. Just looking for good competition.

integrity? Competition? ...So in a competitive setting right? How do you do that in GTAO?

If you mean trolling in freeroam there's nothing comptetitive about that, your basically attacking some old lady as she shops at the store then claiming you won some sort of heavyweight belt for knocking her out as she paid for bread. Even if she engages there's no integrity, there's no completion, your in a hosted lobby using R* matchmaking. Please tell me you mean at least in some sort of deathmatch, then we'll talk integrity. But competition in GTAO? Lol that's funny.

This, this right here. I will never understand why people will think K/Ds really are worth fighting for in a game where killing non-combatants increase your overall ratio. Completely broken system.

Back when I sometimes played in public sessions,I would fight those who attacked me for no reason, but I didn't go around attacking others.

In around the last two years I only play in invite only,to make money without randoms getting involved and screwing up my work.

That could be considered competitive in a game without dedicated servers. That's how non-dedicated games have competitions, maybe he does go the extra mile to create a worthy competition, who knows.

Yes, all the time. If I see a ton of white blimps, I go get a lazer or hydra and slaughter them all. It's fun, the feeling you get after making them mad is thrilling. It's even more fun when you know that they can't kill you no matter what. It's the reason why I got into bad sport for 64 days ;)

Mind you it cost me a lot of switching characters to place my money there for no payment of insurance.

Defining the term "slaughter" is vague and can be taken in varied context(s).

For me, I have no problem flying around in my Buzzard blowing anything and everyone up, just as a whim.

Of course, this gets me shot down, myself, quite a bit, but for me, the game has so many aspects of play, that this is just one.
I also enjoy races, Adv. modes, exploring, jumping off ramps, missions, parachuting, taking Snapmatic pics, and so on.

However, there aren't many games in the marketplace that allow you to veer off a linear path or controlled map environment, and just let loose on an entire group of players.
This game does that and whenever I see another player doing what I do, I recognize it immediately as them either having their own fun, letting off some steam, or reacting to something negatively.

Often, I'll send them a message saying, "hey! u chill? want to play?" which usually gets ignored. Sometimes, I get a positive response which draws us both to do something more fun.
But, yeah, touring the GTAO world with violent intent is an acceptable part of the game construct, which I think a lot of people forget.

Even I forget, too, sometimes, when I'm running a sourced vehicle and get Lazered out of existence. lol!

I actively enjoy PvP. At this point in my GTA career neither the cops, of any wanted level, nor the NPCs are really providing any semblance of challenge. They have spawns on their side and numbers, which definitely helps, but by and large they're easy targets.

Enter other players, who have the full suite of weapons, skills, vehicles and abilities as I do. All within the "open world" of Los Santos, San Andreas. Now we can finally have a competitive game.

Most of my PvP is for a purpose. Stand Your Ground and attacking other orgs doing the same, Executive Search, King of The Castle, adversary modes like Power Play or Drop Zone, hunting Bounties or stealing Hot Property. I like there to be a reason behind my kills.

But there doesn't have to be. Like almost everyone, the "shoot-first questions later" mentality has been burned into me after playing the fool for so many ranks. Then there's times I murder other players on behalf of crew mates or friends engaged in battle. I'm always one to help friends and randoms complete the various CEO/VIP/MC missions we have now and whether in defense of the objective (people attempting to blow up the crate/vehicle) or simply out of loyalty to the org in a random skirmish, I'll do my part.

There's a lot of variables to free roam that simply aren't present in death matches or missions. PvP can be a lot of fun if you're not afraid to die.

I spend a lot of my time on call in missions, special vehicle jobs, random jobs, races, or heists, doing some CEO/VIP job or cruising around playing casually. But should the sh*t hit the fan, I'm ready to go and happy to pop off.

I believe the Kuruma/Insurgent are getaway vehicles and shouldn't be used offensively. I also don't think people should use passive mode, the easy way out, or bull shark testosterone for combat either. I'm not totally adverse to Pegasus vehicles in combat, but I think they should be appropriate to the situation.

For example: I wouldn't go after a Tempesta in an Insurgent P/U. But an Insurgent Pick/Up vs a Tank or Kuruma is fair game.

Yeah... I hate to admit it. But yes, I got turned into a killer. But, I'm human. And humans love to kill.

I kill almost anyone on sight. I jump around lobbies specifically looking for full CEO groups and MC's, or players that are all in the same crew playing together. It's very thrilling to know that you can't die (Typically), and it's very thrilling to see people try their hardest to get you, and they just can't. I even taunt players. I will rub it right in their face when their tryharding and can't get me. And when I find my targets, I don't stop until they leave the lobby or go passive.

My KDR is almost 2.0, and I won't stop until I get it. I know people around here don't like this type of talk, but sorry. I own everything, and I have enough money to never have to work again. That KDR is the last thing I need to make myself happy. Years ago, my KDR took a dramatic decline, and I have to have it back. I already know in reality, that I'm way past 2.0, but I just need it to prove it.

It's hard to kill me, I don't wanna brag, because I know there's some people here who would sh*t all over me and make me their bitch. But out there with other people, I'm untouchable. Going for the white haired c*nts is orgasmic, especially when they look better on paper. Getting 10 kills on someone while they only have 2 on you, just feels good. It just feels good to see that you ran a group of people out of a lobby. I typically don't go for low end players though. I don't wanna kill you unless you can at least half way defend yourself.

I have my little tricks and secrets too though. Between the way I roll, and a certain substance that is basically always pumping through my veins, I get called a cheater everyday. But hey, if you haven't learned what the rest of us have, then oh well. Adapt or die. And don't wear certain clothes unless you can back up what you're capable of.

There's only three things that can kill me. RPG's, Miniguns, and Jets. And when people break those out, I know I've already won, and that they are triggered. And that's exactly what I want. I want to trigger you, and take advantage of you. I want to make you rage, and I want to work you up so bad, that it f*cks your play style up. And once I get you nice and heated, you'll start making mistakes. And I will capitalize on those mistakes.

And if I have my buddy in the room with me, who does exactly the same as me. Then, forget it. You're for sure not going to get anywhere on us.

I will get sh*t on for this post too probably, but oh well.

EDIT

And just to say this. I'm not a bad guy. I don't always kill. I can control the urge, and I let people live on a daily basis. I don't always pull my gun out and go blasting. I'm calm about 40% of the time. And I do play DM's a lot too. And DM's are what made me good. And I will always prefer to fight in DM's than in freeroam. But, DM's are dead more than half the time. So, that leaves me to kill in freeroam.

I only use guns. I refuse to kill with explosives or snipers. And if I ever commit suicide, it's almost always just to get the cops off of me.

There's moments where I wanna kill anything in sight, but I'm more of the anti hero. If somebody comes after me FIRST, they're dead.

If they go after a lower level over and over, they're dead.

I've met some really good friends because myself and my crew heard their cries for help over game chat, and a team of 8+ players came to help this one guy in Blaine County. The opposing team nearly sh*t themselves when they saw two hydras, a tank and multiple blips heading their way.

The only time I've ever done this was that time I've mentioned before where I was on old gen blowing up personal vehicles so I could get into bad sport.

Can't really give you sh*t when you're being that vague about how you actually get your kills.

Some part of your post makes me believe you just pick up your Hydra and tell yourself you're the best when you either get the kill or the opponent uses one of the few available tactics to counter it. Another part makes me think you do give it to everyone in every form and they just cry and resort to lame tactics when they are no match.

btw. Been rocking my white ponytail since 2013;)

I don't touch Hyrda's. I personally hate the way that thing maneuvers. I die anytime I get in one.

I run straight in with a Combat MG, aiming for the head. I won't lie, I will jump in a Lazer every now and then. But my jet skills have diminished over the years, and I will typically only get a few kills before I hit a tree. I've figured out that rushing people on foot can be just as fast and more deadly than a jet. Driving back and forth to Zancudo just isn't worth it anymore. I actually kinda prefer the Buzzard to Lazer nowadays, since it's available at all times.

And then people will message you, calling you a pussy. And I learned that the likely hood of being called a pussy on foot drops to almost nothing. Being "That guy" in the jet, just isn't what it used to be.

Honestly I try to only kill people that have shown some form of hostility towards me or mine, that way I feel a little bit better about, "slaughtering" them. The other night I went 45-5 with some guy and despite the fact that he literally tried EVERYTHING in the book to get kills on me, I felt a bit guilty at the end. I can't help but to think that there's an actual person behind that player and who knows how they'll take to that bad of a spanking so I get a little squishy and loosen up. Usually which leads to them getting a cheap kill and I start all over with no guilt lmao.

If it's a challenge versus another player that doesn't kill themselves or try to glitch the lobby out then I'll stick around and have some fun, shoot them a "GG" text and send em a friend request because I like meeting clean killers. If it's a suicide try hard I'll get a few kills up on them and then retreat to let the burn really sink in. Generally though it's just low levels that want to test me that end up telling me to die of cancer after I smack them around multiple parts of the city/country -__-

Tried to be the nice guy before, doesn't work, so I shoot on sight most of the time.

Hardly ever rock the Hydra now though (did a lot of jet griefing back on ps3)

Terrorizing entire sessions in a jet is only really fun if you have one or two other friends doing it lol

Light up that kill feed folks lmao

Other.

No I don't slaughter players. Not my cup of tea. I avoid that kind of mayhem. I take a 'do what thou wilt' approach if people want to PVP each other. I just make sure I'm in passive if I'm around it.

If they kill me ill give it 2 trys to get revenge. Otherwise I only care about killing when it brings me a cash prize at the end of the battle.
