All Time Money Made Per Hour

I am not one to brag about how much I have made OR how much I have, but out of curiosity, I went to my social club page and looked at total money made and divided it by all the hours i have played. It came back that I have earned $168,000+ per hour for all my time played. I mix my play doing a lot of stuff, to include stuff that either pays very little (used to do a lot of parachuting) or actually costs me money (free roam killing), but I would be curious where others would fall relative to my number. If you are inclined to post, I would be curious not just your hourly rate but roughly how you spend your time. Again, purpose wasn't to brag about fake dollars, just to see on average how much you have made.

As for how I spend my time. It really depends on the character I'm using at the time.

 

If I'm using my main, I'll do a load (and I really mean a load) of VIP work and do a few races solo in between to let the cooldowns do their magic but still earn some dosh in the meantime. Been doing a lot of my own air races lately

 

With my secondary, I'll usually do Biker Contracts with her. Depending on how I feel, I sometimes do nothing else but the contracts by heading in and out of the creator to get contracts that can be done solo. Made mega money during the x2 event I will occasionally do VIP work as her too. On top of that, I do quite a lot of contact missions with her, including that massive x16 Crystal Clear Out III playlist by mixing it up a bit. In one I'll snipe'em, in another I'll use a pistol, and in another whatever comes to mind

 

If I had to take a wild guess, I reckon I make about $250,000/hour with my main and $200,000/hour with my secondary.

160k ( or even 250k/hours)are really really good values .... my average money eraned in a hour gameplay is 100 K ... I´m not grinding the whole time, but still , I do grind heavily sometimes ....

It´s hard for me to imagine earning 250k per hour gameplay though ....

It does, it would just be an off the chart number.

 

One of the things that got me curious about this is that I was told that Rock Star looks at money made per hour and the numbers that jump off the page get their attention. But this is all hearsay, so I have no idea if that is true or not. And I also have no idea what a high number is.

Actually just did the math and mine is about 120k an hour. Keep forgetting that socialclub doesnt show the initial money drop that I recieved for some reason (600 billion).

 

That is 344.6 mil and 118 days played. A huge portion of that 344.6 was from the billionare era though. I expect the actual numbers would be much lower. Like $50k an hour.

Average earnings calculations are inaccurate.

So the best way to calculate what you've done in GTA online is dollars SPENT per hour.
I've spent 85k on average every hour since I've been online.

EARNED = $2,201,974 per hour

(2,900,000,000 / 1317)

 

SPENT = $685,345 per hour

(902,600,000 / 1317)

 

The billion/trillionaire days really messed up my money earned stats forever. Both stats actually.

I think the spent gives a better feel for what kind of player you are. All my money is spent on cars, mostly.

That's an honest an accurate assessment, when you consider the time spent in the clouds, in creator, modding up your cars, fiddling with clothing combinations, talking to friends, etc, i.e. every activity that isn't actively making you money.

 

Good post. When people say I make an AVERAGE OF x hundreds of thousands per hour, I switch off.

I honestly can't make an accurate assessment on my money made per hour. I know what I've made excluding the Billions from back in the day and a duping glitch, but have also spent a lot of time behind the tv of which I don't know the exact time..

An estimate would be around $110k per hour.

Using the faulty stats from early billionaire days it's about 1.3 mil per hour.. really it's probably in the 100-200k range.
