I vote in favour of a duel, but I'm sort of obsessed with the history of duelling. The candidates stand back-to-black, take ten paces, and then turn around and fire their pistols (with only one bullet).

 

I don't really know though, but I think it's best to let the final decision to be determined by some sort of public vote from the common people.

I'm guessing Mr.Hunter will protect the new Democrat/Republican border with his new fleet of Hunters.

Well seeing Fort Zancudo is in the northern part of San Andreas Mr.Hunter could governor the wild lands known as...euh...the wildlands! Meanwhile, clean-cut-and-a-sniff-away-from-glue Mr.Grey could govern Los Santos itself.

All jokes aside, if it were up to me and the votes are all legit and there is a tie I would name them both Governor but with a twist; they would decide, among themselves, who's the Governor and who's his secretary/Vice Governor (is that a thing?). That would mean that the runner-up would get a medal as Governor runner-up (or a special name position like Secretary of San Andreas), if possible, and the Governor himself would still be the one to pick the charity of his choice. That's my take on it.

Still, we're open to suggestions. The poll isn't as closely matched now but we like to cover for all scenarios.

Poll is ending TONIGHT @ 11:59PM EST. As of posting this it runs out in about 5 hours or so. We'll take snaps of the poll and check all the votes. Results can be in within 30 minutes to a few hours as we want to be absolutely sure before making a final call.

Steve H. Hunter will come into office as soon as possible and let the people of San Andreas know if all his policies and goals were lies to get ahead or he's a man of his word. Mr.Hunter's father gave him a piece of wisdom that stuck with him to this day. His father, in a father-son moment, leaned down to his son and said words Steve would never forget. His father told him...."Tk TK TK TK TK TK THE SOUND OF HELICOPTERS SON!" and he flew away.

Praise San Andreas and its new leader, Steve H. Hunter.



We'll get in contact with Mr.Hunter soon about his medal as Governor of San Andreas as well as looking with him which charity he's picked out for us to donate $20 towards to. Thank you to everyone for making this possible and exciting. You were all great sports and this has been the most demanding competition the GTA:O section has seen, in my opinion, and you've all surpassed our expectations. Also thank you to the regulars dropping in and to all who voted! Thank you!

We'll keep this thread open for celebration and to post the results of which charity was picked out/show some pics of it cause we sure love to look good.

It's going to be a long road ahead, and there will be work involved, but you're going to like what's in store. We're going to have jobs, we're going to have a police force we can be proud of (rather than terrified of), a military that can protect us from jet terrorism; we're going to build bridges - lots of bridges - and Hunters, tunnels, buildings, infrastructure in general is going to have a massive surge. It's going to be great.

 

I want to say thanks to each and every one of you who voted for me. You are what makes this stuff possible, and I'm so honored to have been picked to represent you voice; I assure you, I will shout that voice loud, and we'll drown out some of the murky swamp that is our political establishment. I will not let you down.

(Not decided on a charity yet - wasn't sure I'd win, since numbers were close. I don't suppose they do charities for helicopters, so people can chip in with suggestions if they want).

Thanks to the candidates and voters who made this competition creatively enjoyable for all of us, whether if they were candidates or just citizens who added some necessary spice to the lore of GTA. I would like to commend Jason Grey on his determination and passion with this election, you gave out an excellent performance as proven by how close your scores were with Huntër, you have my salutation.

Congratulations on becoming our new governor of this lovely state, Steve Huntér. I may have stated that I wished for Jason Grey to win, but forget about that, I can pull some other strings and exaggerate a democrat scandal to overshadow the real terrible deeds done by Cranley, I don't need a scapegoat just yet.

 

Anyhow, as a professional lawyer with a degree in Political Law and Incorrectness, I can assist you on any controversial decision you'll inevitably make as Governor. In fact, you can even evacuate everyone in Davis right now, start drilling the unearthed oil field that has been sitting there for centuries, and I'll still win you your case against the hippy liberal stooges who sue you for "human rights violation". If you'd like to get rid of some members of the council who stand in the way of your decisions, don't hesitate from calling my associate Krystal Methson, she has the necessary 'skills' to make sure that pesky pests get eradicated quickly.

 

l look forward to our meetings in the near future, Governor Huntēr. Be sure to take the proper pages from former governor Cranley, regularly exercise your power, and be sure to create orders to make us all very rich!

While all of my fellow Gay men were cheering for Madonna, and calling her their queen, I was at obscure clubs watching a feces-covered GG holler "eat my diarrhea!" onto the microphone, while he beat his skull with that same microphone. But since I'm a masochist, every time he insulted or sucker punched, he made me, please excuse my language, horny. Unfortunately for him, he met his demise after he insulted the wrong person, so I got that tattoo to remind me of the man unknowingly made me...excited. You should've seen the look on everyone's faces when they found out their favorite resident asshole was gone, "today is a sad day." :crying: Haha, uh-huh.

 

But enough about me, let's get back to the man of the hour, Mr. Thompson. Sir, you may be a flithy republican, but it's still nice to see someone achieve his hopes and dreams. And you better show your support for Gay rights activists! Just kidding, I don't care for those damn hypocrites. Remember kids, being Gay doesn't mean you have to be a whiny and sensitive rainbow hugger who accuses anything of being homophobic, don't believe everything the TV tells you. Hmm sounds like a Trivia and a few confessions,

 

Originally Jason William Grey was an army pilot and a parody of George W. Bush until I noticed Hunter had an interest and felt we'd end up having similar characters with him having a thread dedicated to Helicopters.

 

I spent time and came across Bill Clinton, watched a few of his videos, read his biography and him as Governor of Arkansas.

 

When Answering those 2 questions a day, a part of me wished there was 3 or 4, i'v always been good at improvising and got a great imagination.

 

Weirdly I always felt Steve Hunter would become big competition and may end up going against him if I made it to the final as I did, No offence to the other candidates its just me spidey senses going off.

 

I'd just like to say this competition has given me a lot to do and learn, its certainly been an education for me and hopefully I made a bit of an impact that made the other candidates step up their game.

 

Also to the Republicans who got charmed into voting for me, don't feel bad, alot of people get seduced by me when looking into my eyes as I speak to them.

You both were tons of fun. When copy & pasting your answers in the spoiler tags in the first post (where all answers given are) I legit laughed to myself in my room, alone, in the dark. I will say that I hoped to see Pussy Power make it to the next round as he was a personal favorite of mine. Any "out there" characters makes me so happy but you two played the part for Governor to the last button of that nice suit. I'm unsure if this will get picked up next year but you two have set the bar real high.

@Hunter: I'll PM you about the charity stuff at some point OR PM me when you feel ready. Please think about it.

@Everyone: Please pitch in ideas for EASY TO DONATE ONLINE charities that are good and reputable. I said this in the Mister LS thread when Mach decided to donate his prize where the main thing I'm looking in a charity, apart from its cause and such, is if I can easily donate. If I have to dig to find the donate button I'll ask for another charity in the same style. Oh, extra points if it's a Canadian charity cause I love my maple syrup, though any U.S charity could use some help right about now. Either way, feel free to give suggestions. We're now using this thread to unite and find a good goal!

So please, pitch forth ideas if you have good ones with links and info about them. Hunter can then pick from those/come up with his own. Mister LS was restricted to Men's Health due to being a male competition but this is political which means a LOT of stuff can fall under this (immigration, health benefits, etc.). I will say that I do hold the exclusive right to refuse any charity I disagree with. I'm not saying I'm close-minded, not at all, I'm just not gonna fall for a "GoFund Trump Wall" deal...
