Which protagonist has the best special ability?

Franklin is the one I use the most, it's extremely useful when doing races, car chases or just driving very fast.

 

I use Trevor when I want to do a rampage

 

I never use Micheal ones, i consider it pointless...

F's ability is the only one I use. It has saved me so many times from crashing to a dead stop from full speed.

At first i thought franklins special ability was useless till i learned you could go fast as hell in a car if you manage to activate it at the right time, so now i use his ability so much more than i did before.

I could argue to you that Franklin's ability is for pussies who can't drive. I don't need it with mike or trevor, don't need it with franks either. I am sensing some bias here, too, but won't say what kind.

 

Franklin's ability is awesome, especially for stunting. But that gets boring. So does rampaging with trevor or mike, with rage or deadeye, it's all able to be argued that way.

 

But let's be honest - a "glimpse of all powerful invulnerability" trumps "becoming heavy as f*ck crashing and dying super easily" and "getting killed in slow mo" any day.

 

Franks ability feels awesome and is cool and all that, but it is not better than Rage, Rage trumps them both, easily. Slowmo is cool for driving and shooting, but FAST ACTION and no worries about cover or anything while activated, in my opinion, kills slow and easy mode shooting and driving all day.

 

Easily you can say slowmo driving and shooting is for pussies, as you put it for rage, because you are slowing down the game, and in the case of franklin, you are making driving way easier (though more dangerous as well, still way easier. Mike and Franklins abilities are the very definition of pussy gameplay - slowmo, making slow-headed people be able to survive... Trevors ability slows nothing, and the only way to make it last is to keep getting headshots - in real time, not slowmo. Even then it's still harder to do that than to slowdown how fast mike and franks stuff runs out.

 

"Rage is for pussies" - yeah, okay, guy who can't drive in real time See how that can be turned around? It's subjective, no offense intended =)

I picked Michael's cause it seems the most useful for me, I use it the most, Trevor's is great and all, but I don't need it, I've only used it once or twice because I was low on health. Franklin's is great, but I'm a good driver myself and won't need it.

Franklin's is cool to use in order to drive fast and easily around the map, and very useful in races (almost essential in motorbike races lol). Trevor's is the most fun, I use it to make rampages last longer. Michael's isn't much fun or much use, I mostly only used it to get headshot objectives for medals in some missions.

Michael's (in my honest opinion) is the worst out of the three.

 

The best however, I would choose Franklin.

I like Michaels bullet time ability, Trevors doesn’t make much sense when getting shot as rage doesn’t make bullets ineffective, makes sense in a fist fight but bullets? Franklins ability is great for shooting people while in a car and avoiding collisions
