Taking control of the Savage/Buzzard pilot's missiles without permission. Don't do that... ever.

Ha, yes this is annoying, especially if you've 'rescued' or helped someone by picking them up from a place of peril or when they are stranded somewhere!

They should introduce an option where the pilot decides whether to give control, not the passenger. It's almost as annoying as giving someone a lift in your car in the real world and them changing the radio station..

I do everything on what you mentioned lol. Destroying PV, killing players while they're AFK, destroying cargo.

What I don't accept is the sh*t talking, that's for garbage players. Also RPG players.

I accept everything else though, except RPG players and sh*t talkers.

I don't know if its a do, but one thing I would definitely recommend giving a try is hovering a hydra low over someone moving crates- when they ask you if you're friendly say "yep! Here to escort ya!" The appreciation you'll get for your good deed is priceless.

Do grief insurgent trolls with the hydra. Those asses need to be reminded they are merely mortal.

• Send an Apartment or Yacht Invite just set people up?

Wait, really? People do that? How? I mean, I've received numerous apartment, yacht or garage invites but why? You can't attack anyone while in-doors so how does it work.

Some people will help friends pad their K/D by inviting people in then kick them out to a friend waiting outside to slaughter them.

But it is helpful if you want to fast travel back to the city, just do so in passive.

Dont suicide to avoid death. Dont destroy cargo unless provoked in which case only destroy if your target blew up yours. Many will disagree with the next part but the rest is fair game

That reminded me of the time I got myself killed a couple of times by a friends mate when the low level who I'd just picked up after a supply mission decided to take control of the rockets, blew up a car near this guys ETR which promptly exploded it. I quickly exited the chopper and he died in it. Good thing I was able to clear the sorry little incident up.

If you do this sh*t I hate you so very much. Leave my rockets alone! You will sit quietly in that passenger seat :D

1) don't go after someone's cargo.

2) don't take control of the buzzard's missiles as a passenger ... Ever.

3) don't target players flying peacefully in an unarmed helicopter. That sh*t is unacceptable, I rather kill myself before I give some asshole the satisfaction of an easy kill with the HL.

4) don't spam people with Party Invites, if they ignore it the first time, that means they got sh*t to do.

Yeah, blowing up free roam work is acceptable, but if you do, expect me and whoever I'm with to drop what we're doing and hound you until you voluntarily leave. Even if you blow up a modded accounts car/work/ect, I/we will make you regret it with everything we have. I especially enjoy helping low levels get sweet sweet revenge :)

Do shoot down all aircraft.

Don't not shoot down all aircraft.

I am aware of the double negative.

I won't:

1- cheap kill after heist/setup/mission

2- bother with mics at all, everyone is muted... always.

3- interfere with people doing mc/CEO work.

4- take over buzzard/savage missiles

5- give bad heist cuts

However I don't expect anyone to abide by my code, so I always try to be prepared for whatever a random might do.

Don't ask for a modded account.

Don't say your "as legit as it gets" it makes you sound like a Jackass.

Don't refer to your RANK as a "level" this makes you sound like you're

1.) Lazy.

2.) Not proud of your RANK.

3.) Playing a Mario game.

4.) Disrespecting the format of the game.

5.) Playing too much CALL of DUTY.

I'll join a party chat and we'll start talking.... They will ask me what "level" I am and I'll say I'm RANK _____.

It makes me feel like we're not playing the same GTA:O. There is a disconnect. It makes them sound ignorant like they don't know what they're talking about. -->"level"

This is a major pet peeve of mine as far as terminology goes between players. When I meet someone who refers to their rank as a Rank I instantly feel closer to them and respect them. Because they "get it" we can be more organized. There is no disconnect with the understanding of the structure of the game. At the end of the day "rank" is just a word but that word encompasses exactly what Rockstar has designed the game to revolve around.

Cash is king in Los Santos and you are a RANK end of story. This is an interesting thread. That's just a pet peeve of mine I'm not looking for a discussion on this.

Don't:

Create a YouTube channel filled with useless 10 minute+ clickbait videos of yourself playing GTA where you start off each one by saying, "what's up guys/how's it goin' guys?" and then proceed to remind everyone over and over again about hitting the like and subscribe buttons. Also, don't constantly whore out your channel, livestream, or whatever it is you're whoring out! However, If you decide to ignore the advice and get involved with this overdone lifestyle, please at least have the decency to actually use your own photos and don't steal them from the Snapmatic Community.

I was going to report this thread because it is so stupid and so much worse than many of my threads that trolls have flagged down, but I didn't want to be a jerk just because somebody else is stupid, so I decided to type this response after the Google image search: "so irrelevant meme" disappointed me with its results.

11822b640a7caa97ff06b0646da0d84b54025cff

Thank you for nothing.

Ok. How about this?

Don't kill yourself.
Don't piss on other players who are obviously trying to make money.
Don't get on your mic. Nobody cares.

Do play by the rules.
Do report glitchers and modders.
Do play with other groups of people rather than by yourself all the time.

I agree, just playing a simple videogame so level is appropriate. Rank/level is nothing to be proud about. It says nothing about skill, only tells the amount of time you spent on the game...

Don't whine and b*tch if you pick a fight with a (currently anyway) underpowered helicopter and lose. Either nut up, or shut up.

I have nothing but respect for my ground brethren, but really - when you get whiney messages over a helicopter, of all things. That said, it is quite funny getting rage messages, so yeah, I guess people (only a small few) can keep it going lol.

Basically, just don't do anything if you're not prepared for a reaction.

Sir Golden Gecko

DON'T:

- Be an obnoxious twit if you decide to use your mic. Be at least borderline respectful, sensible, and courteous. Don't yell, play obnoxious muffled background music, or hurl racial/sexist/other bigoted epithets at other players. Mic abuse is one of the worst things within the game, and the mute function is a bit flawed--especially if you're right in the middle of a job. Also, please don't call everyone 'bro'.

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" - That one child that seems to be in every double GTA$ & RP adversary mode.

Don't say you're peaceful just to attack an isolated member of an org/MC afterwards. I hate that. If that happens to me, I make sure to teach them proper respect.

When I drop into a public lobby I accept the game is a moral-less cesspool where anything pretty much goes. Any imprint of my value system is a fools errand and is a waste of energy.

So, I don't accept there are 'do's or don'ts' - you walk into free roam you accept it is what is because you can't change it.

That's why I play private most of the time. You can tailor the lobby more to a more shared playstyle with your friends. This in my case is more cooperative and less violent.
