What is your preferred way to make money in free mode?

What investments have the biggest return in the least amount of time? Biggest return in the long run?

What are your strategies for dividing up tasks and working around cooldowns?

Since most of you will want to focus on the fact that you do a little bit of everything, please outline your strategy for diversifying your free mode work below.

Mainly destroying cargo and bounties with the occasional freemode event mixed in. I am rich as sh*t from duping and do whatever I want.

1-

i say, payout wise gotta be the crates but the sourcing can be time consuming, car sales are nice too but they have a long cooldown. if you are about making money fast i go with vip missions, even more when you can run hostile takeover and headhunter back to back with little to no cooldown for quick dollars.

2-

i make money while griefin, so running hostile takeover and headhunter back to back to back, not only earns me a nice change but allows me to blow up sh*t without paying insurance.

3-

my biggest investment was on the crates business and i did over 30million on a single month. the bikers business i did 2millions and closed the thing and barely broke a million with the car sales.

im a solo player so, no dividing tasks here haha

For me its the ceo jobs I like to do for the challenge and fun part. I dont really care for the special cargo or the vehicle warehouse missions although it takes a lot of grinding to make a really good profit on it. The MC jobs are crap but the mc missions are really fun though.

The one that has a bonus on it. Cause in the last few weeks we had the most fun and made some big money with the biker contracts. Because of double RP and you can play them in invite-only session with up to 7 friends. Now I wouldn't touch them. because f*ck LJT and his biker stuff.

The MC missions?

I've seen these pop up but whenever I am a club leader I don't have any options to do anything other than the joust, deathmatches, wheelie rider, and stand your ground.

When you just play for fun you feel like you make much more than when you care about how much you make. That's a fact.

As always Heists are where the serious money is, but the freemode stuff keeps me in Ammo and Ghost Org'.

I make the most money with the I/E by a mile. Not just because it pays the best, but mostly because I like doing it.

But whenever there's a free mode event going on, I'll abort almost anything to win it. Nothing more satisfying for me than seeing an event going on with multiple people going for it, just a minute or two left and getting the win in the dying seconds.

I made most of my money via I/E jobs. But it restricted me in the city. I always have an expection on Biker's jobs in Blaine County but it's a failed dream. Collecting raw materials always takes a long time. Also delivering drugs by a van / seaplane is painful. It's extremely slow and vulnerable. Additionally It's quite ridiculous that a Biker's job does not work with bikes, but vans / seaplanes!

I used to do crates, but now I'm only doing I/E. If you're good and fast, you can do two vip works and source a car between sales. That gives you 120k every 20 mins, over 2 millons in 6 hours. I think that's more than doing crates. However, I started experimenting with dupe glitches so... I guess we have a new winner.

I'm not sure what nets the most, but I stick to doing mostly I/E work and sometimes the CEO/VIP missions. All of my work is done either solo or with friends within "private" public lobbies. If I am with friends, we take turns with selling and sourcing (generally three or so each) and often run a quick round of Headhunter at the end. If I am alone, I'll often do a sale, source a few cars, and then break away and host/join some regular jobs for a change.

I don't do crates because of the office clutter, but I may experiment again with a few quick sales in the future. I also do not own any MC businesses, but I don't mind lending a hand if my friends want to sell off their supplies. Since I do everything "privately", I do not partake in free roam events (since they need a minimum number of individuals present). Also, I really don't like the idea of destroying other people's cargo/deliveries, so I wouldn't ever do that even if I were in such a position. Don't get me wrong, a challenge can be nice, but the methods most use within these scenarios are downright ridiculous and the reward isn't really a reward at all--it just seems to create more issues in the end and I prefer to distance myself from such.

I've been a bit burnt out on free roam work lately as a whole, so I've been doing mostly regular jobs when online. I/E work can be enjoyable, but not when it just feels like grind, rinse, repeat. I like variety and constantly try my best to keep things interesting and enjoyable.

For me, fun always outweighs making money. Unfortunately, some of the fun stuff can be rather expensive; so yeah, sacrifices sometimes have to be made.

Mainly destroying cargo

Yet you bitch about jets killing you on a regular basis, hypocrisy much?

While on-topic, I got myself enough money to enjoy updates without having to grind at all, but I/E work with Headhunter in-between sourcing and sales of Top Range cars is a very efficient money-maker. I only do it casually from time to time and not daily, but I can see myself making 400K per hour if I grind properly with no mistakes or messing around in-between the intervals.

However, like I said, I don't feel the need to do it and I'm focusing on playing the game the way I want to play it. Thank you very much, character transfer.

I mostly do crates, I find it relaxing. I'll source and sell a car or run Sightseer/Headhunter once in a while to pay for the next batch(es) of crates.

What is the best way to make money in free mode?

Hands down car importing/exporting. Most efficient method out of all, requiring least time and giving the most profit in return.

What is your preferred way to make money in free mode?

As above, import/export. It's fun, but after a while can become quite tedious. Still, find me something in GTA Online that wouldn't become repetitive after doing it over and over again for hours straight. Generally, missions are relatively fast, usually pretty easy and straight forward. Comparing them to cargo or motorcycle club missions, with slow vans and multiple objects to collect (one per player), they're just amazing.

What investments have the biggest return in the least amount of time? Biggest return in the long run?

It's relative. I bought my office AND vehicle storage during an event week with +25% of car sales. Broke even in two days of playing, although I have to note I haven't been selling low and middle tier vehicles. If I did, I probably could have got 2.5M$ a little bit quicker, but I'd suffer because of that in the long run.

Since now you can buy these properties with a huge discount, that process may be faster than normally, but I did no calculations to back up this statement. That's just an assumption.

What are your strategies for dividing up tasks and working around cooldowns?

I only sell cars, never invested into a cargo storage nor an MC club (although I've spent lots of time helping ou my friend with his tasks, so I think I know these property types pretty well as far as their practical usage goes), so that limits me a little as far as cooldowns go. If my garage is about 75-80% full, I don't do many import missions, since you get random duplicates with a chance of low/middle tier vehicles. Usually it's one import for every export, and then I do something, anything - whether it's a quick heist/heist preparation mission, daily objectives (unless they suck, like being forced to kill X players or something - then I don't care) or even hunt for yellow/blue Sentinels XS.

If my storage is <70% full, I export a car and afterwards do 2 or 3 import missions, waiting for the cooldown to end. All depends on how far cars spawn, what must be done to aquire them (worst being Lago Zancudo Cargobob mission probably) and of course, how fast they are. If you're lucky, you can find a supercar with a bomb in west LS, and then drive it in 2.5 minutes to your garage in east LS, if you're not, you can get a Roosevelt parked on the far north of the map.

I rarely experience import mission cooldowns - usually when I use a Cargobob to obtain cars, or they spawn in very convinient locations close to my storage.

I guess the best method to earn money would be either vehicle sales or maybe some MC businesses, but I personally prefer clubhouse contracts because I can do them in invite only without the risk of some random getting involved and ruining everything.

There's ways for you to do CEO/MC businesses in solo sessions too.

Mainly do headhunter, sightseer or hostile takeover to make some quick and easy cash. Also privacy prevention is a good one to do. Mainly do these with crew or friends when I'm bored out of my mind, MC missions are good as well.

I think most effective/best long term earner is probably crates at two large warehouses back to back.

My preferred money maker is I/E and filling a large warehouse on cool downs.

My Method:

Headhunter, source car, sell car, headhunter, source car, sell car, headhunter,...

Easy 200k per hour, solo.

I like flying and driving so i have fun and make money at the same time.

Obviousy import/export, made 28.000.000 $ so far just by selling cars/collections, probably the best update for me money wise, maybe heists in between car sale coldowns in case i do it with 4 people, just to kill the time n do something different. Also somewhat this Import/export never get old for me
