Best looking / favorite Sports Classic?

In your opinion, what is your favorite looking sports classic that you can't seem to ever part ways with? I know there's some other classics lovers out there. For me I love the Stirling GT, Monroe, and Pigalle. Name yours!

I've been working at a stirling gt for a long time, it just gets shuffled under higher priorities every time. My favorite is still the big bad zed type though.

Well worth the money if you are a collector. Keep at it!

OT: Stinger GT takes the cake, styling, performance and the noise... R* killed it.

Definitely the Striling GT.

The Coquette classic topless is second.

definitely the Stirling GT and the Z-Type ( both are the only sports classics that I own anyway ... )

I like almost all of them, but I think my favorite classic sports cars would be Monroe, Stinger (regular or topless), Stirling GT, Mamba and Casco. From the less sporty ones from this class,Tornado, Peyote and Roosevelt Valor. And I know they're not really in the sport classics class, but I also like Coquette Blackfin and Tropos a lot.

Stirling GT - it's like the Elegy Retro Custom of the Sports Classics class, in that whoever designed it (I'm almost tempted to think it was the same artist, judging by some of the fine details) managed to blend together two complementary incarnations of the same car (Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and 300 SLR coupé) in such a way that you can see all the real-life cars in there, but not only is the resulting car a good-looking blend of the two*, but also looks close enough to the Uhlenhaut Coupé alone if you want to have it simply as a stand-in for the actual car. Same as how the Elegy is a really clever composite of the R32/R33/R34 Skylines, but done well enough to just look like a standard R33 to a casual glance.

That, and it's really satisfying to drive, and that engine sound, though. 'GTAO Car Of The Year 2015', says me. ;)

*plus tiny influence of Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione thrown into the mix - which shouldn't work, and yet adds a great little finishing touch to the whole look. No kidding, it's one of maybe a handful of GTAO cars I'd actually want to own in real life.

(corrected the date, because aargh, ffs... :facedesk:)

Z-Type, Pigalle, Casco, Roosevelt Valor, Franken Stange, Tornado, and Mamba are my favorites. Stirling GT is okay, but I can never find a color for it that I like.

See, in terms of the others, I rather like the JB 700, even with the guns (although yeah, R* should have made the civilian model without the guns right back as far as single-player, because now it's too late to just tweak a model that's been around since Day 1), because it looks close enough.

Mamba slightly less so - like with the Nightshade and Verlierer that came with it, it's a bit light on detail/mod options (I get the feeling that R* has newbies on the vehicle design team that get given projects like that), and it's a bit of a shame that things like the stock rims/tyre width and the lack of authentic stripes/chrome accents mean we can't have something more true-to-life. But eh, it's still not bad, and a lot of fun to drive.

Pigalle I like for filling an under-represented niche, and doing so nicely, Tornado for being decently period-authentic (shame about the interior - shame further that the only way to get a decent vintage interior is to get the Custom, and force lowrider mods on to a perfectly good car :sui: ).

Near the top of my list, though, would have to be the Roosevelts, because between the two of them, you can cover a whole bunch of Cadillac Town Sedan variants really accurately.

...except that's the problem: TOWN SEDAN. Why a vintage saloon is in 'sports' classics is beyond me. I mean, I get that R* uses 'coupes' to mean 'luxury/executive', 'super' to cover exotics, supers, hypers, motorsports, etc., 'muscle' as a catch-all for 'Americana' (including vintage things, 'personal luxury cars', etc.), 'sports' runs the gamut of cars from motorsports to mid-life crisis souped-up sedans (looking at you, Buffalo...), and so likewise, 'sports classics' could just be 'vintage' or 'classics'.

But it still rankles me - which is why something like the Stirling GT deserves to be called an actual 'classic sports cars', by any and all definitions, while the Roosevelts are simply really nice 'vintage cars'.

/pedantic rant :p

I already have the Stirling GT along with a whole mess of modern cars but I'm looking to get another classic to break the mold and give the Stirling a buddy. Between the Mamba, BlackFin, Casco, topless Stinger, and Stinger GT, which should I get? Out of this list I've only driven both Stingers and the BlackFin before, but performance isn't a real big worry of mine being that the Stirling will pummel any sports classics race I'll come across every fiftieth blue moon.

I'd say the Mamba or the Blackfin
