How do you manage your money?

In PvP I blow so much money on muggers/off radar/bounties/ghost org/bribe cops/ ammo via inventory if I'm too lazy to drive to ammunation. I always end up making back what I lost back by exporting vehicles/MC work etc.

 

When it comes to updates I mostly buy clothes and don't bother with vehicles all that much. It's p much a balance

I often spend my money as fast as I can in this game. I always have something that I'd like to buy in my mind. Most of the time, I just save up enough money to buy the thing I want. After that, it's back to being broke again. I try to keep at least 100k though, for when I might need to make an emergency purchase.

I spend a lot of money on Ammo, OTR, Ghost, Blind Eye, Insurance and Pegasus fees.

 

I make it back exporting cars, taking cars to Simeon just avoid stars when hijacking cars, CEO/VIP Work, crates and occasionally MC businesses.

Hasn't happened yet. Normally when I see a jet now I just start fully loaded. 20 minutes of the jet player dying or they leave me alone.

I agree I have no problems with jets after I start fully loaded.. Cause Ill shoot them rockets as soon as they dive down at me if they're smart they'd pull up but by then it's too late

The playerbase keeps dwindling. You can see it plain as day. When the Paleto Bay Mayor's Association members are playing other games, you know things are dropping off again. I have quite a few members of that crew on my friends list and their players many are off in other games and their PSN community has gone strangely quiet as where up October of last year it was still pretty active.

 

So your original point is true, the game's life is entering twilight and every time a major title releases GTA numbers shrink. If Red Dead is completely immersive - GTA's numbers will further decline. Fanbois will still play GTA but the playerbase numbers will continue to constrict.

 

I'm not sure why some must argue that point. GTA is transitioning away from active and on-going support to extended support. That should tell you everything about the game and where it is in it's lifespan. I get that some are so tied to this game any highlighting of fading meets with argument. I just don't understand why some can't say 'yup, it's shrinking, but I still play it and like it.'

 

That's fine. But don't snark on people who are looking at the big picture while fanbois can only see their niche interest.

I don't spend money much. Mainly I spend money to MAKE money in this game. I don't go nice personoo for silly over priced content or ugly cars. Only car I've bought recently was the Retro Elegy to dupe the f*ck out of. I'm not just not motivated by bling bling cars. I never bought the motorcycle drug operations. I waited and when they were found to be a waste, I smiled not wasting all that money on them.

 

Hell, I don't even buy ammo most of the time. Instead I go into the survival Processed go to the very last round, then DON'T take the final chopper down but kill the snipers and let ammo respawn indefinitely. Translation - full ammo for FREE. There are some exceptions, but it's a very worthwhile to do. R* did nerf this to some extent recently. Bastards.

I don't have to have every single item that comes out on day 1. I'm at the point where I basically want to be ready for any DLC or event and I try not to have my banked cash drop below $25 million.
