NMZS
Well, as you all know the Kuruma trick in the PS heist is gone. But since i've seen rediculous new 'glitches' on youtube (NOOSE Van, Heli) i feel an urge to open this topic. I've always tried to convince other players to use the bikes instead of the Kuruma, because it's faster and more fun. If everybody knows what to do, there is no excuse for losing cash. So here is my how to: - 1st: everyone should have a combat outfit (utility vest * ) - One player takes all the cash - The other 3 players clear the area in front of the bank, the cash-bearer leaves the bank for a second (to trigger the checkpoint) and goes back in again and waits. - The other 3 players proceed to the bikes (or only the runner, you can look that up on YT). - The bikes will be destroyed and one must suicide. Restart. - After restart don't shoot or aim anymore! - Because after all the time so many players still didn't get it, i have to repeat myself: After restart Nobody is shooting or aiming!!! If you stay peaceful, the cops won't shoot aswell (at least when the spawn). - Everybody is getting a bike, one for each player, also very important! If two players sit on one bike, even it's only for a second, it might let the cops shoot (not confirmed yet). - You follow the GPS route. If you use an alternative route, cops will shoot you to pieces. You go for the cliff, never straight to the boat. If only one will go for the boat he or she will fvck up the rest oft the team, because angry cops and choppers will spawn all over the place! - The cash-bearer is always driving in front and drives around the cops. There is no need to haste, unless you are a very good driver. The cops wont shoot at you, even if you are very slow. Only if they leave the car you gotta hit the gas. - The other players keep their distance, don't pressure the cash driver, don't overtake! It is likely, that more cops will be behind and some may shoot at you. But still: don't panic. Keep calm, the combat vest can take a lot of bullets. - Before you get to the tunnel you can take al little shortcut up the hill (guess most of you know). The cash-bearer should drive half way up the hill, then someone has to overtake and kill the cops at the tunnel, because they will always shoot. - Then the cash bike will overtake again and drives as fast as possible out of the tunnel (if you are to slow the cop in the Van after the tunnel might had left his car and shoots at you). - I recommend to drive left to the Altruist Camp and over the hill to the cliff (you can look that rout up on YT aswell) - Drive over the cliff, pull your parachute, land on (or near) the boat and be happy, that you just brought 1.250.000$ home. And this is it. It's no big deal at all. So stop looking for cheap alternatives and spread the word! * Just in case you don't know, because many players seem not to know: The utility vest increases your lifebar, not your armorbar! So many times i've heared players crying "I need to put on another vest, it's gone again!". Screw that! I don't even look at my armor, it takes maybe 3 bullets to destroy a heavy vest. But your lifebar is much stronger with the utility vest, you are almost immortal! When i proceed to the bikes, i never put on new armor, i never eat snacks. The utility vest is my tank! PS: Please excuse my bad english. Edited February 12, 2017 by NMZS jyssys and Nigel le Mong
REXX
So basically, how the heist should be done excluding the destroying the bikes part. DontGetClose1990, StangOne50, Gleeman Vox and 2 others
V
I hope more people start using the default method with the bikes instead of the "glitched" paths. Cause I saw the helicopter method and it looked like the most bullsh*t thing ever. Basically you do everything up to destroying the bikes part. So when you respawn the guy with the cash goes to the tunnels to protect the cash wile the other 3 go to Vespucci Canals to kill more and more cops until a heli spawns on top of the police station. After you restart you got about 7-8min to reach the Dingy. So what they did was waste the whole time waiting for the chopper to spawn and went straight to the dingy anyway without passing through the Altruist Camp to get rid of the cops. NMZS
@Rexx: and hiding inside the bank...and using a combat outfit instead of an Armani suit...and not triggering the cops...and only one is having the cash...and some alternate routes...and know how to drive... So no: not 'basically, how the heist should be done'. If it would be that simple there wouldn't have been a use for the Kuruma... V
The heist is pretty simple. It's greedy grinders who complicate it with alternative methods and quit the finale as soon as you lose more than 5k. "Stay at the bank. okay now come out and go back inside. Okay now I'm gonna destroy the bikes, everyone select Quick Restart. Okay now you destroy the bikes, I'm gonna get the Kuruma. Okay, I can't get in the garage, better commit suicide and try again. Okay I can't get inside, it's because you came with me. stay there and destroy the bikes. You noob, we're losing money, protect the cash." But the Pacific Standard can actually be pretty fun if you play it with the right people. All you gotta do is set your ego and greed aside, gather some friends and rob a bank. But I guess we all forgot what "fun" was when we were sitting in the passenger seat, staring at our phones or Alt+Tabing while the driver hits every cop car on the way to the boat. You said you don't trigger cops yet you clearly stated in your original post that cops shoot you. Hence why you said don't worry because you're wearing the Utility Vest. NMZS
Nope. The cops won't shoot at the driver in front when they appear. But since they spawned they may stop and leave the car and if the other 3 players pass them, they might shoot at them. But that's okay, as long as the cash is ahead. I thought that would be obvious. size_m
and what's exactly new about this? we have already several threads about this (and also alot of alternative methods) in this forum. most people in here already know about this method. the problem are all the other random players who are not on this forum and therefore don't know about these things. and you gotta remember there is not only one right method to do this. let everyone play it how they like to. but i would agree that it would be good and helpful if more of those incompetent randoms out there would know about these things to make it easier for all. Just like the CEO's & MC'ers with their spreadsheets arguing over who has the most cost effective job rotation.. In any online game, theres always those who have to turn it into a chore. dieseltech20
My son happened upon some folks doing the finale glitchave and I joined them on the second play. Was only my 3rd time doing this finale and the 1st time on the bike. Did it exactly the way OP described and holy crap was it SIMPLE. One guy was only a rank 86 and he carried the cash.
