JustAnotherComplexKid Posted February 2, 2017 Share Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) For, TL;DR version, I basically need the object hash of the rocket that comes from a hydra and jet when fired. I wanna try to grab that rocket object with GET_CLOSEST_OBJECT_OF_TYPE and then divert that rocket. Kinda of like the IR Flares mod someone made, but it doesn't divert nearby rockets. Ok, so I sat a pilot in a Hydra and slowed down the game time scale as slow as possible without the game crashing which was decently slow. Then told the game to have the pilot shoot the 'SPACE_ROCKETS' weapon from the Hydra. As I was trying to physically get the objectHash of the 'missileObject' you visually see when a rocket is shot. I did this about 70 times aiming with GET_ENTITY_PLAYER_IS_FREE_AIMING_AT in the exact spot the rocket slowly flew by and no hash was returned. So unless you maybe slowly pick through entity pool I don't see getting the hash of it possible if it even is. Now the 2 known rocket object hashes, w_lr_homing_rocket = 3148706974 w_lr_rpg_rocket = 2586970039 Do work with GET_CLOSEST_OBJECT_OF_TYPE when trying to detect a shot rocket near by my jet/me when a ped shoots a ped ground version of it. EG the Homing Launcher and RPG itself, but detecting the Hydra plane missile isn't this way. If anyone could find it (if possible) or knows it would you mind posting me it? Thanks.
