I help new players out a lot. I helped this kid out last night who was rank 7, and getting the sh*t kicked out of him by two 200+ rank guys playing as CEO and associate in the Insurgent pickup. He didn't quit though fair play to him, he just kept trying to get away, but every time he got in a car they went after him and destroyed him. Got rid of them, rode shotgun with him to Los Santos Customs, then held off these two whilst they tried to hang around and blow up his newly modded car. I love little moments like this in GTAO

Me and another random were on some CEO groups yacht looking to take over it and they were doing a fair good job against us until I decided to go ahead and help the one guy fend them off as he stood in the box.

There I was, a high-speed helicopter chase, me and my 'Bob with a precious Pegassi Osiris on the hook, the Buzzards where relentless, my poor Cargobobby where on it's last legs. Out of the blue I saw a missile fly pass, I looked at the radar and saw a player in a Buzzard, I expected the inevitable - but no! Player Buzzard took out those AI Buzzards and flow off, I sent him a message of thankfulness.

 

If we ever meet again, Le_Patatoor, I owe you one, buddy!

Helicopter pilots have a tendency to be incredibly honourable players. Of course, I'm completely unbiased.

 

I've been helped and helped too plenty of times. Not so often these days though, but then I don't play as much as I used to.

 

I've had Hearses spawned for me just by asking around with randoms; I've Cargobob'd tanks over to players who needed them in free mode battles; I've taken down groups of people harassing everyone (particularly loners); I've escorted vulnerable vehicles while in my helicopters - remember taking down a jet in my Savage to save some Cargobob. But I've also fallen into tricks and traps, false flags, etc.

I helped a random yesterday, he had a small bounty, were doing Cargo and were hunted by two high lvls with Insurgents, so I grabbed my Savage and blew them up, then proceed to hover above him, protecting him against all incoming threats. After he finished his mission I got a thanks by Homing missile.

 

I had been following him for a couple of minutes, my non-hostile intentions should have been clear... but oh well. I made him pay for that.

I used to do it all the time. Used to be a lot easier.. any time I saw a player desperately battling cops, I'd drive up and honk the horn and be their getaway driver. Nowadays I just get killed for it, even if i'm clearly sitting there honking the horn in a non-threatening manner.

 

I also used to do helicopter pickups for players really far away from anything, but since the Homing Launcher was added I just get shot down instead.

I've helped countless players, it's quite nice to be nice. Way back on ps3 I was cruising around in a helicopter just taking in the sights and I see a lone dot way out on chiliad so I cruise over to see what he's up to and he's running down the mountain, obviously unable to request a vehicle or chopper. He doesn't instantly start shooting at me so I pick him up and fly him back to the city. He creates a way point at an apartment so I fly over and he jumps out. A few minutes later I see in the top right hand corner of my screen +$97000000 and I recievers a text from him saying thanks for the lift. Now this was only about 2 months in to online. I had next to nothing, the chopper was even stolen. So I started buying up everything, I will never forget it.

 

I payed this kindness forward by finding expensive nice street vehicles and fully modding them and finding lower levelled players that were robbing stores (clearly broke) and gifting them cars to sell or keep.

On another occasion I was flying around in my buzzard having a bit of fun and I see someone just whipping around in a coquette so I give chase firing rockets at him, he just continues on driving. I chased him for a solid 10-15 minutes trying to rocket him I finally got him but it was an absolute blast and an intense chase. I messaged him and commended him telling him how awesome it was, we had a laugh. I let him kill me to even the score and we became friends. Afterwards we called a truce and I started modding expensive street vehicles and giving them to him to sell. When Franklin's buffalo was not in online and the only way you could get it was have someone dupe there's for you I did that for him and countless other people I had never met. Those were good times.

I got an offer from a forum member, they were willing to help me with my heists. After all this time since release I was finally able to finish all my heists. Just played the last one this evening. What a great way to end the week.

I've given my tank to newbs so they could mess around. Almost always get blown up by them but it's still fun.

 

In survivals, I tend to be the highest level when I join. If it's a lot of low-level players, I always lay back for the first few rounds so they can get their shooting skills in (thats how I leveled up in the beginning).

 

It is really hard for me to tell if someone wants to help because 9/10 times, when someone is approaching, I assume the worst. So sorry for killing anyone who was trying to help.

Last time was when a level 15 asked for a Nagasaki Blazer, he searched for one in Paleto Bay. I told him that there is always one spawning at vespucci beach, he said he doesn't know where that is. So I took the Blazer and drove it all the way up to him. That guy was so happy

When I was a low level I had some help of a few friendly randoms. We still play together from time to time. Now I often offer help to other players with any rank lower than mine. I have all that I want and lot's of money in the bank. I don't like to play warfare and waste money on ammo so i'll help anyone who's trying to make money.

I used too but now every random person shoots on sight as a preventative measure to avoid being killed so I stopped helping random folks.

 

More than glad to help if they have mics, are mature, and respectful people and then they ask for help.

Did a lot of Dubsta 2 spawning for randoms, kept a few of them on my friends list. The works, ceo/mc/heists with randoms. And help them to die.
