Once when I logged in I decided to go after another player, when I got to his location I noticed he was already in a battle with police so I decided to just join in and help him out - to which I was shot by him not long after he noticed I was there, lol.

I helped someone survive a bounty back on PS3 by lending them my Rhino.

I've helped randoms with their CEO work. If I'm in a public room myself doing CEO jobs I invite randoms to join me and get paid for my Sightseers.

I once spotted some low level player inexplicably trying to free his car that was stuck so i cargobobed it out for him. Got a friend request and they still join my jobs to this day. It pays to be nice once and a while on this game. With my help he rocketed from level 5 to a 100 in no time, okay maybe not a 100% my help but we earned some good money together.

Cryptic Entries

I was riding past the Meth lab in the grand senora desert once and noticed it was going to be raided because of the police standing around it and a police heli so I decided to help the rival MC out and took out as many police as I could before they got there. After they finished the raid off the president sent me a "thank you" over the phone.

Once I landed a Lazer in the street right in front of Del Perro apartments and said to a level 20 that the jet was his for taking, then I left the session.

Little did he knew that the jet had its engines cutting off already, he might be able to take off but he wouldn't be able to maintain altitude for too long before crashin

I help players and players help me all the time. I'll accept associate invites and help move or cover crates and I send them out and get the same help all the time. I usally focus on the vip work when I'm boss though, just so everyone gets paid. I'll even go as far as sharing my winnings with other helpful associates or low-level associates.

I even received some great help with some of my heists from a fellow forum member. They reached out and offerd help and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you so much (you know who you are.).

I've helped cover a solo crate runner. He was picking up crates from the water. A buzzard was making its way over. I flew over in my jet and kept the attacker busy. The runner didn't lose 1 crate.

These are just a few of my experiences helping and receiving help from players I don't really know.

When I was low level, I used to annoy other players when they were doing their CEO crate missions or I/E, or bikers doing ressuplies and sales. The game told me it was a good idea, and I was getting money for it, so why not. Once I started my own business, I realized how frustrating it is to be interrupted when you're doing long grinding runs. Now that I got some big guns (Hydra, Savage, Buzzard and Rhinno), I try to help other organizations and MC when I don't have anything else to do. I always tell them my intentions before approaching, It's not cool to be killed when you're trying to help. Apart from that, when I'm grinding crates or cars in a public solo session, and other players join with the same intentions, I try to make everyone respect the truce, by force (?

I have a rule: the random act of kindness. Makes GTA much more fun than killing anything that moves.

Sometimes in a random session I guard solo crate runners or solo car runners.

Sometimes I fly over and see someone in a battle with the cops or some griefer and I help out (usually getting killed after the battle is done)

I got my first car (Vapid Dominator) from a level 105 so sometimes when I'm bored and had a good day I look for the lowest ranked player (usually a level 1 to 5) I bring them a fully upgraded Karin Sultan or Bravado Gauntlet (because those cars just rule) or some such and tell them it just needs insurance.

I would sometimes spawn hearses or dubsta2 to random people that seemed alright.

That's what is so good about GTAO. You're either helping others or hurting them almost every time you interact with others. I choose to help when i can but im not a fan of being asked for help constantly, seems some players always need help once you help them once or twice.

Imo good teamwork is the payoff to helping others so it's worth it. It makes the game so much better.

You are aware once you add mods to a car in LSC no one else can drive it in, right?

Even if you don't put a tracker on it, it's still marked as "your" car.

This was done to prevent people from transferring large sums of money via car mods to low level players.

Now, pre-modded NPC cars off the street, that's different.....

That was possible when the game was released, lots of billionaires would mod cars for low level for free

I usually help low level players. A few days ago, some guys were killing a russian guy lvl 10. I picked him up with my car, and gave him a tank. It's funny watching new players enjoy things that you don't appreciate anymore either because you're tired or don't really use them.

A few days ago i gave an advice to some polish guys who were selling MC product, and they responded quite friendly.

It's those little things that help you realize there's nice people out there, not only griefers and serial killers. It makes gameplay much better.

The best help I ever got from a random player was one that took the time to explain a good route for a Time Trial when it was obvious I was choosing a poor route.

I'm not big on joining random organizations/MCs but I do like to deal with jet griefers and protect others if I see they are in trouble.

I helped a random with CEO work. I was nervous after seeing we had to fly planes and dodge buzzards but it all worked out well in the end.

Both gunning after a bounty. I decide screw it I don't need the money so let the other guy pass and get the kill.

Get a notification, he split the cash with me.

Closest thing I've seen to an act of kindness in GTA in a long time.

no that never ever happens in this game.

the millions of players behave all in the same hostile and egoistic way without any exceptions.

there is nothing like help in this game.

what are you talking about?

you must be a very unique and special snowflake among millions of players and really nobody is playing or doing things like you do.

actually you have found a new and revolutionary way to play this game!

I sometimes just hop into some contact missions with random low levels. If they are ok people, I keep playing with them and make sure they make more money than they ever thought was possible and teach them a thing or two.

I used to go into battle with people bullying low levels, but now I often just send Merryweather and muggers their way. It's just a lot more satisfying when you rattle them and the low-level guy gets the kill.

You gotta connect with other players some time....it's just natural like in any community. It may work out, it may not but you will do it...and saying never again...never say never coz you will do it again. The anger goes away and you forget., but you're a little wiser. It's human nature.

I saw some poor noobie SOB getting chased...I put some lead in the attackers head. The guy gave me a simple TY honk...NP

I've purposely lost a great number of races to help others unlock performance upgrades for their cars. The last time, a lower levelled player invited me to a race and I could tell that they were struggling; I sent them a message and asked if they had their upgrades--they said "no". So, afterwards, I loaded up a quick custom drag track, invited them, and told them to take as many wins as they needed. Afterwards, they were pretty thankful and in the past, I've given away these easy wins throughout my time playing GTA--to established friends and the seemingly kinder randoms alike.

I always help other players provided they aren't being tools. It's rarely reciprocated and often goes without any kind of thanks but I'll still continue to do it.

If its myself and a random or two sharing a lobby, ill offer to help them with supplies and/or crates.

I've met some of my best Xbox friends this way.

From my understanding once you upgrade a car you cant give it to anyone. How did you pull it off? I'd like to give cars to some of my low level friends. Thanks in advance.

On topic: Anytime I see someone being attacked by other players I always help them if I'm not busy. I've also been helped by randoms as well.

Sometimes if I'm flying around I see a 2-3 guys pop into the gameworld in the middle of no where, I send them a message if they need a ride, enter passive and land near them.

I'm not planning on taking them to their next mission or hang out at their apartment, or invite them to mine...but I'm betting most people want to get back to the city. So far, nobody has turned me down. I mean, think about it...you just finished a mission and are in the middle of nowhere and want to take a brief rest, set the controller down, whatever but you need to get back to the city and someone offers you a heli ride? f*ck yeh would be my thought.

So if you see me flying low and you get a text from me, I'm probably offering you a ride. Take a seat, put down your controller, go use the bathroom or finish your sandwich, whatever...and relax....

I got this.

Professional Amateur

My most memorable acts of kindness were when I was racking up race wins for my second character (wanted to get the paint jobs unlocked by slipstreaming and such) in a double cash stunt race event a few months ago and it was usually a very small racing lobby I got put into. After a while it would just be me versus one other (random) player and I noticed quite a few would stop and wait if I drove my car right off the side of the track, which, in my incompetence, I did quite a lot. Thankfully, I have since learned to properly drive on those Hot Wheels tracks.

This was an unexpected but highly appreciated move and I messaged these players thanking them for their kindness. From then on, whenever it was a 1v1 race, I'd wait for the other racer if they wiped out and a few of them decided to let me farm wins, but I declined and wanted to let them get the wins they needed first. Really made those stunt races enjoyable knowing it wasn't a glorified version of bumper cars for once. They were quite close right up until the end most of the time, not to mention.

I do try to make the game more fun for low levels by letting them drive my expensive supercars every once in a while too, but I'm sure many people here do that already.

I don't mind giving a hand most of the time and try to give a hand often as possible i mean i did even help out on here with trying to get dubsta 2's for PC players and so on before they patched it but of course if you do decide to turn well lets just say i do give chase
