I didn't say you had to kneel and kiss our asses for not being glitchers

The absolute LEAST you could do is respect those who earned their way to get what they want.

Sure, you were asking them nicely to be alright with being treated like dirt because you have such weak and insecure ego.

Yeah I don't get to decide what's good and bad but cheating is cheating, simple as that. If you still want to argue how cheating is looked down upon in an attempt to defend your worthless antics, then we already know who looks worse in this argument.

I'm not arguing about cheating, I'm arguing about how you act like a jackass to other players out of sheer pettiness, that makes YOU the worse side. I used to play this game legit and never partook in any glitches, not even the Hooker Glitch. However, once Rockstar jacked up everything in the Lowriders DLC, I decided that I've had enough and glitched myself some cash because I got tired as f*ck of slaving away my hours for a single f*cking car.

Here's one thing you need to realize; not everyone will condone to your bullsh*t. If you decide to ramble on about how you're superior just for playing 50 Heists and wanting to take a piss on people who don't want to waste their time, then you shouldn't be surprised that someone will call you out for being an asshat.

Out of sheer pettiness? I'm only saying money glitchers and modders should be looked down upon because of the act of money glitching itself, it's not a personal attack on them solely.

It's pretty much known money glitching is a cheap way of getting what you want, why you think I made it like that or something is pretty confusing to me.

I'm fine with you guys glitching to get what you want but don't be insulting those that play cleanly.. in fact part of the reason I made that post is because I saw an earlier post of yours in this thread saying how those who play cleanly think they're all high and mighty against those who glitch/mod. And then you went on to insult their playing style.. when you're the one sitting on your ass glitching money and not actually playing the game.

Professional Amateur

"Stop playin' everything you've been playin' 'cuz your music sounds like a dumpster rolling down five flights a' stairs!"

Always loved that line. Speaking of uncommon radio preferences, I wonder how many people have non-ironically listened to East Los FM and enjoyed it. That whole station is a legendary meme to most but someone has to have liked it at some stage. El Sonidito really should be the official Los Santos National Anthem for how much it's played. I seem to have a one-in-five chance of it playing when I go to steal a car in the eastern regions of LS. I also sometimes wonder if it was included purely as a joke or for the realism/variation of music. Probably, if not definitely, the second option, but it's always an amusing thought.

Anyway, my unpopular opinion is that I still enjoy MC work. No, not the businesses, but I like doing club contracts and the biker challenges with friends every once in a while. Stand Your Ground can be pretty fun if you enjoy PVP. Jets, Insurgents and tanks sometimes show up to claim some free kills though, which is annoying.

I agree. The reason for me is they are in my zone. I own that zone. Leave it or get smoked. If I can see you I am shooting at you. If you are behind a wall here comes the rpg barrage.

Exactly. It becomes personal however when you track me down and hunt me down with everything you've got and when you find a way to keep pinning bounties on me. Otherwise, a simple kill is nothing to cry over.

I agree also.

There's been enough times, I've held back or put my gun away when a player who approaches or comes near me appears to be 'friendly', just to end up being shot in the back etc when my guard is down, which means that this does not happen anymore.

I now take the 'shoot first, ask questions later' approach..

I'd try a different angle. If that didn't work I'd try a different weapon/vehicle or just flee onto my next activity. Can't get'em all.

Exactly this. Throw sticky bombs. The grenade launcher goes very far. Go OTR and try to creep up behind.

Maybe send in the mugger or try to bait them to follow you into a proxy/sticky trap. I love the cat and mouse games that go on in freeroam.

Cat and Mouse.. only make sense in unbalanced situations.

I can't even count how many times i run into chicken poo runners.. Even in insurgents.. Who run.. and try and make me follow them into traps. And do this for hours..

Nothing funnier then myself being on a bike watching some Insurgent explosive spammer try and play Cat and Mouse.. The problem is.. Hes the CAT being chased by the Mouse..lol

Being balanced is beside the point. I play games like this against higher ranks while playing as my second character who is only rank 78 all the time. It's supposed to be fun. Not sure what the issue you seem to have is.

Im just f*ckin' with him...

Seriously.. The player can just keep breaking line of sight. If PVP turns into a player just spammin grenades till they get lucky its gonna a long boring f*ckin' night... I run into people like that all the time.. By the time its done.. they have busted about 100 explosives and maybe more.. and miss 99% of the time..

Me. I don't care.. Someone breaks line of sight on purpose and is not trying to kill me. Im not about to spam explosives til i kill them just because they got 'in muh zone'

Infact if would probably hang around even more just to show.. How much i don't care about ' da zone'..

Rockstar_Fanboy

Well, I read most of the thread. Sorry if I say the same thing some other people did. But...

Jet attacks. Unlike like common beliefs, not every jet is out to kill you. And most of the time, they'll only kill you once and then they run into a building or something. Since almost nobody goes for the Lazer anymore, the jet community is nowhere near as dangerous as they used to be.

Kuruma driver's are little asshole's. I have more problems with these dicks than I do with jets. They'll just run you over, and keep trying.

MC Business's are not worth it. People will tell you otherwise. But I just don't get it.

Just because someone is a high level, and dressed like a "Badass", doesn't actually make him so.

I went back for fun and looked at it. I have made just under $23 million from the MC businesses I have only been doing a Coke sale every few days for the last month and a half.. A few things, but i loaded up on the 25% bonus and got lucky and had some of my businesses on auto fill, but still, most of my money was made because I had a crew working together, we took turns.

If you aren't making money off of these, it's because you are lone-wolfing it and aren't putting any time in at all. It's easy money.

One unpopular opinion I have (at least I think it's unpopular?) is that the VIP work Ruiner isn't actually that big of a deal to aircraft.

I mean sure - it's crazy tough, and probably going to win in a straight-up fight against any aircraft - but ... All I have to do is land at the construction site for 20 minutes, make a few witty helicopter posts on here, then come back. Then there's an hour where the enemy guy has to either be heli-tortured, or forced into passive mode. Both of which fill me with glee.

Wearing a helmet makes you a tool apparently.

That's fine I'd rather be the tool who's not being wiped around the map like a wet a mop! PVP is for me the most fun I can get out of this game now that I've duped myself silly. When it's a challenge it's even more fun because it pushes me out of my comfort zone which is necessary for growth as a better fighter. Hide behind walls a lot, here's some rockets and well placed grenades. You like to marksman wiggle, oh boy get ready for a dance off! BST + Ghost Org junkie, hard to be a tough guy when you're getting mugged and spawn killed huh bud? For all the people that think a heavily armed vehicle be it by land, air, or sea is your key to survival, so much fun watching you go passive when you get blown out of your chariot.

There's a solution for every type of d-bag this game will throw at you, it's called patience. Sure I've lost some fights, but that's only because the water was boiling upstairs and I like my tea at room temp :(

"The water was boiling but there was no one to make tea."

Sounds like an expression calling someone dumb.

On topic, I'm not a big fan of the Combat Roll. It's too effective and easy to exploit. It's also incorrectly affects the outcome of a firefight in that the person aiming at the roller would have no problem following the target and the roller should be disoriented when coming up and incapable of a targeting anything with accuracy let alone firing off a one shot kill to the head.

But it's ingrained in the game and those that use it would sh*t a cat if it was nurfed or heaven forbid, removed.

I kinda agree with this. Don't think I've ever been killed by a Ruiner when I'm flying. I haven't ran into a work Ruiner i dont think but I've taken a few out that weren't working. When I run that mission i actually run the mission, usally let a teammate drive when I fly around and take out the turreted limos with my hydra.

Personally I can't stand organizations that start a job and don't participate. I've actually left lobbies because I wasn't able to run a job and I couldn't tell which CEO was running a job. Pretty sure if you start hostile takeover it doesn't tell the lobby until you get to the package and I find that to be very annoying when someone deliberately does something like this, pretty sure hostile takeover isn't the only job that acts this way.

It's funny, but the East Los Santos music ain't my thing, but when I was in a low rider or riding around in a certain part of town, found myself putting it on. This is the ultimate role playing open world game, isn't it? And it is true, with familiarity comes some likability--especially when you begin to tire of the stations that you like.

Yeah that would definitely be annoying. I like to be the one running the job. It's not as fun just being a participant or waiting for someone to finish, it can be, but not as much fun as being the one who started it. If you did this though, I'd probably just run most wanted and get someone in my organization to drive me around for 10 minutes while we wait. Might even get them to drive over to you so you have some cops to play with.

I have had fun stopping organizations in the past though, can be great fun.
