-There is no reason to play with male character.

This one confused me most. Why is there no reason to play as a male character? I have two characters myself, but I wouldn't say the females are far superior. I prefer playing as my male (and main) character because there aren't as many utterly dumb restrictions on clothing combinations, which is really annoying for someone like me who is always creating new outfits.

Sorry, I thought this was "unpopular opinions" thread... The idea was that most people have more than one character, only because they want to try how it feels play with female character too. So why not just only make the female character, so you don't need to have more than one character? Men are not visually attractive creatures, quite the opposite. I don't see the point dressing a man, since it's like trying to dress a pile of sh*t. Sure you can try putting a tuxedo or suit for man, the only socially acceptable clothing, where man can be called well dressed, without being labeled as "fa**ot" -While woman can wear ugly clothes or pretty much anything and still look visually intriguing.

 

Female clothing could be much better and there are some weird restrictions, but I can still personally make my character to dress nice. I've never had a male character, so I don't their "unrestrictive " choices, but looking all the mask/helmet combinations and joker cosplayers, I don't seem to be missing much...

 

I know it doesn't make you gay for playing with male character while looking his ass all the time, but as a heterosexual man, that image of running male body just disgusts me. Maybe you can get used to it?, but I didn't, when I was playing the story mode.

 

Point is, that in GTA both character genders have the same "powers" the only differences are in the looks (maybe few cut scenes) and women just are better looking. So I just don't see any kind of valid reason to play with ugly character.

 

So all you gynophobics, what are your excuses to play with the uglier character?

I was mostly referring to GTA... I don't remember which gender is the "base" when creating a character, but sure if you don't care about what you character looks like and the male is the first to choose from, then you take the male?

Who said anything about "looking at his ass"? Personally, when I play, I just look at where I'm going and what I'm doing. The character is just a tool for me to move around.

 

As a helisexual man/helicopter, I can't imagine being disgusted by merely a pixel guy running around. I mean, it's not like you have him in a thong or something lol. His rear end doesn't really even occur to me.

I did not expect such a response in a thread dedicated to opinions. I honestly don't care about whichever gender my character is. Most of the time he is in a vehicle anyway. Not sure what's so disgusting about a male character running, and you said that like I'm consistently and directly staring at my character's lower body. Not that it would matter anyway, he's almost always wearing a suit. In fact, you said you couldn't get used to it, so, are you constantly staring at your character's lower body? That's a little odd.

 

I'm all for playing as a female character (and I regularly do, albeit most of the time in a racing suit or heist heavy armour,) but you seem to be implying you're only playing as one just to stare.

My unpopular opinion is I worry people think I'm a perv when I'm playing with my female second character. I mean, it's true I created her just to see what she looked like taking a shower but that's beside the point. I respect her for her brain now. So stop looking at me like I'm a perv. I run into players who are so stupid, they don't know:

- how to use snacks

- don't know about snacks or stashed vests

- don't know how to drop weapons

- don't know the touchpad menu at all!

 

And most embarrassing, I always witness this when I play executive search or got a hot freemode event briefcase:

- people don't know about the subway, or the getaway from the vangelico heist.

This is so pathetic and embarrassing.

 

I stay there. Somewhere in the subway and players are above me on a street level and they throw bombs, sends mercenaries, shoot rpgs and even send messages like "noob" - f*cking lol!

Who's the noob not seeing on the map I'm in the subway, not knowing the map at all.
