What we got today was hardly an update, lol. It's just some stuff that's been in the game for over half a year given a discount and a couple sh*tty races.

I love the deluxe vehicles, I enjoy the fact that you can't go passive in them.

I love the Armored Kuruma and don't care if it makes missions easier. Some see it as "pussying out", while I see it as gaining the upper hand.

I strongly dislike the Armored Kuruma and Insurgent. As vehicles, transportation, I find they are very underwhelming.

 

I think ragedandcaged is a cool dude.

If you don't mind me asking, why?

Triggered me considering its one of the funner vehicles to come with the update. I use it more than the other special vehicles.

 

The only thing I hate about it, it's not as fast as it seems. I've beaten people using it during top speed challenges on my Bati. They were going full speed before using the rocket. I was just wheeling.

I haven't driven my kuruma in a year. The Insurgent is a great pvp car. I know you don't do much of that.

I use my Insurgent when dealing with people who spam the hell out of their explosive weaponry. Cannot spam stickies out the window or spamming grenade launchers and rocket launchers effectively at someone that would take multiple explosives to kill.

* People should just do CEO and MC work in populated lobbies. I understand that GTA players can be annoying trolls but thats the point. It gives you a challenge.

 

* We need a Fight Club DLC.

 

* The ammo limit for RPGs, stickies, snipers, etc should be much lower

 

* Jets, tanks and other similarly dangerous weaponized vehicles should be VERY hard to aquire.

 

* You should go to jail when you get busted and have to fight NPCs in a cell for a few minutes (with the option to spend a chunk of $ to bond out)

 

* Ppl should go to prison instead of Bad Sport

I don't even like it for the speed, just for the fact that there's a big ass rocket (a cool looking one too) on the back of a puny car like that lol AND it's funny as hell using the rocket from a standstill point.

Motorcycle stunt races are bad and need to be in a separate rotation from car stunt races.

 

Also more stunt races need to be made for compacts, off-road, muscle, and some definitely need to be made for sports classics, sedans, coupes, and SUVs.

 

Catchup/slipstream should be removed entirely and not be an option for any reason.

 

They should get rid of wins/losses for races and just do average position. Sure it can be skewed, but it at least doesn't take away the reward for getting a podium position in hard fought races and makes people actually try for a better position than giving up if they can't be pole position.

 

Placing in the top 25% of a race that lasts 5 minutes should let you make about the same amount of silver you would from heists, relative to time. Top 10% should be the fastest way to make money in this game if it can be done consistently.

i don't mind catchup / slipstream, i turn them on but i also enable non contact so any player has to use a non upgraded vehicle to give them a fare chance when i host races.

Um, pretty sure non-contact turns off catch-up and slipstream by default.

I think the GTA III Infernus was ugly and would be a waste if the Infernus Classic was just a straight up HD remake of it.

Motorcycle stunt races against people who are good is the highest form of human development. the most competitive racing in the game.

-Make all vehicles available to everyone, and I say this as a "returning" player. It's fun to see people all over my old orange Highway Reaper and Blista Compact, but they should be available for each and every player to enjoy, not just a group of players that aren't special.

 

-I'm not opposed to putting cheats in or making the game "easier" or "less hardcore".

 

-The Elegy RH8 doesn't look as good as people seem to think, and I still haven't claimed my free one.

 

-Do not kill without legitimate reason. I don't kill you unless you mess with me/kill me first - and no, I don't care about my K/D ratio and don't know (or care, really) what it is at the moment.

 

-The Hydra is awesome, but I fly "responsibly", or really only for backup while a CEO or organization member I'm working with is delivering cargo.

 

-A piggyback to that - put the Lazer on Pegasus.

 

-And a piggyback on that - Pegasus should not exist. I'd really like my own aircraft hangar(s), and space to store my Boxville/Dashound/Tour and Shuttle Buses/Journey without having to call someone and go somewhere.

 

-Playing with randoms isn't bad, and there are some skilled randoms out there. However, I don't play heists or setups anymore because of so many failures.

 

-There is nothing wrong with playing with (very) low ranked players, and randoms at that, on jobs like contact missions and such. I'm a 251 and willingly played with expected brand new players over Christmas.

 

-The car handling in GTA V is abysmal compared to IV. I wish said Highway Reaper would drag its door handles when cornering and drive like my IRL 1968 Charger with stock suspension drives.

 

-GTA IV cops are better than V, as is how you escape them.

 

-There is nothing wrong with having a beater car online/my insured beater Tornado and insured beater Emperor would like to have a word with you. They openly repel people when I'm on the job with them, but whatever. I like them.

 

-I like the office clutter

 

-There is nothing wrong with the AP Pistol

 

-The Youga Classic is great (but would be greater if we could customize the interior)

 

-We do not carry too much ammo/explosives.

 

-MC biz being public only is a good thing

 

-Most cars look better without window tint

 

GTA IV/V unpopular opinion:

-Self Actualization FM is totally awesome, and we need another station like it.

Yes it did and always has. Non Contact has always disabled catchup and Slipstream. 5,000+ races here.

 

The only exception is Premium Races, where slipstream and non contact are together.

I said last year, that he seems like a older chilled type of guy. The middle aged guy who gives his two cents and enlightens the forums younger folk. But I doubt he's older than average.

 

Hmm, I for one, are tired of races, I wouldn't mind having a Hipsters/High Life like update again, IMO, I find this adversary, racing, stuff gimmicky

 

as there are plenty of other things that should be in the game but unfortunately arent. but then again, I realise that this is a 2013 game running on a 2013 build. So I hope that GTA 6 raises the bar, or even RDR2.

 

. . . I hate supers. Every single time I see them add some 80s sports car instead of a sports classic, I wanna jump out a window.

I feel the same. I'd much prefer the Vice City version or even the San Andreas style. Hell, I even prefer the GTA IV/V Infernus to the GTA III one.

 

I liked the III Infernus at the time but largely because it was one of the few supercars in the entire game, not because of its looks.

 

Hopefully Rockstar picks the right Infernus to bring back or at the very least makes it look appealing.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. Blowing up Organization Special Cargo/Biker Product doesn't net much money and only makes CEOs/Presidents want to annihilate you from the session. Not to mention you're blowing a hole in their wallets, as well as your own.
