GTAV online flight school quite hard

I've tried many times but can not win gold medal in the second last task:collect flags ..Sorrow,.

You could look up paths to follow on YouTube I suppose; GTASeriesVideos probably has one for the mission.

 

If you find it exceedingly difficult to pilot planes/helicopters I suggest getting a controller

The best thing to do is practice. Do half at a time. Figure out the best route to get the first half. Practice it till you can execute it perfectly then start working on a route for the rest of them.

This can only be completed by sheer repetition, you need to figure out where are your mistakes and correct them on the next attempt.

 

Also, look up to GTA Series videos walkthorugh on this, his flight path is the best one to follow and get the gold.

The flag one is purely a trial and error process, it can be made easier watching videos of people showing the best routes and simply repeating the route to circumvent this. What I did was just have my computer playing the video near me and had it play as I started the attempt and copied it in real time.

Yeah once you realise there's a route, you'll get it sooner or later.

 

Someones probably made an air race showing it, so maybe try searching for that?

I don't know many who have managed to even get that far let alone get gold in them all.

 

I know I have done all of the flight school (however not acknowledged on my SC profile) but getting gold, I'm sure a few slipped me by. It's tough!

I'd progress from Bronze over Silver to Gold to cash in the whole 2 millions you can get from it.

First time i did it i easely got bronzes and silver....but i never imagined getting gold.

 

About 2 years later i tried going for gold on all challenges and i succeeded really well, since no single challenge costed me more then 3 tries to get gold on.

 

Practise makes perfect mate.

 

Good luck...and do not worrie...i consider myself a semi competent pilot in general and i found it easy...thus it certainly is doable.

I struggle with that one, got golds on the others but only bronze for that. I can live with it although I keep on telling myself that one day I'll go back and conquer it but if I'm honest I don't know if I can be arsed.

 

Video tutorials of the fastest route are the way to go though, there are so many checkpoints and so little time that it needs to be optimal. Like taking a slow route for a time trial, you'd have no chance with this either.

yep, i do that using the besra, such small and agile jet, it would be the ultimate killer if it was armed.

Faster isn't always better. I had a terrible time with this when I was going full afterburner all the time. If you drop the gear briefly, slow down and make some sharp turns you can plan a much more efficient route. Specifically there are are some on the western side I get early on with sharp turns.

I'm working on it,best time is reduced(from 2.58'' to 2.46'') .Still need practicing & Hope can reach 2.40'' or 2.30+''(get gold medal) sometime.
