Character transferring from 360/ps3 ending

Aren't you also not able to transfer a account that's less than a month old? That means modded accounts on Feburary 7th can gtfo

They should have just stopped it effective immediately. Then make an announcement that it was halted and for a limited time til March 6th transfers will be done case by case. I would hardly expect that a modded account would pass mustard and would get in instant ban. Players with legit transfers would go thru easily. Those that are buying these modded accounts would be wanting their money back fron the modders and good luck with that.

 

By doing it their way there is going to be an influx of modded accounts showing up. You know those level 1500+ players with little over 1 day total time playing online.

That is unless people mod their accounts and then start playing the game legitimately to blend in real RP with modded RP.

They would still have no justification for being level 1000 have have less that a few days played. It would take too much effort to play enuf to justify the level and the amount of time spent online playing.

 

Thank god rockstar doesn't check that.

Exactly and I'm the type that pays for unlock everything passes. Oh well.

 

And I don't brag I use modded stuff like outfits and npc bodies as the clothing still sucks to this day!

 

And I have missed rbg colors from back in PS3 early day which are unique. I have a back missing corvette which is pretty cool. So modding is fun since this game is so limited in creations.

Well, you do see that some glitches that are very easy to pull off and make an extreme amount of money are patched very quickly, where glitches that require more effort are sometimes left alone for weeks. It's as if they don't want it to be easy enough for everyone to do, but don't mind the hardcore glitchers doing it.

And I think the modders without malicious intent are just victims because R* don't have the tools to differentiate between the good and the bad in the current platform.

But we all know that modding for aesthetics is almost impossible to filter out from the malicious modding, and that is why all modding is banned.

I'm all for mods that bring us great new beautiful things. But when that also implies Aholes can run rampant, I will have to decline.

February 4th is the last day to create a gta account to get it to transfer by the 6th because february only has 28 days

They've made a lot of big changes out of the blue recently. Like basically destroying a very profitable mission.

A lot of people have the rare colors and cars like the backless Corvette now, so, that's not really a snowflake badge anymore.

god, this is gonna be hilarious.

First of all rockstar will count on their player base on cg consoles to report everyone, once that happened and none of the consoles are jailbroken period, they will probably remove the report function, meaning that first of all, they probably will not ban a lot of modded accounts if those people doing it are not completely stupid and beyond that, the fallback when ps4 and xboxone get script kids will be hilarious

All you need to do is play the prologue on PS3, you are correct. The other poster isn't. Anyone with a PS3 could do it for you. I guess we are going to be busy on PS4 transferring people who can't get a PS4 yet so they can use their accounts later too.

oh well finally nails any reason to upgrade the old PS3 for a PS4, never really gone 'oh wow' with any of the exclusive CG expansions. Will hang on for the RDR 2 before going CG.

This is quite obviously enough time for everyone that actually wishes to transfer at some point - if the lack of updates on last gen since 1.5 years ago doesn't raise any alarm, then these people obviously intend to ignore everything and stay on last gen no matter what. There is also the fact that the game, even in its CG iteration, is getting old - it's no longer a really big reason for people to upgrade their console unless they're doing so for some other game at this point.

 

All in all, this is just Rockstar patching yet another way to slip through their cash card sales, as I can't imagine current transfer traffic to be dominated by anything else than modded accounts.

If I see that the account i'm helping transfering is modded, I will delete the character and make sure to blow all the money away beforehand. No more character transfering in that account.

 

Call me whatever you want but R* is trying to put a stop to this whole mess of modded accounts flooding current gen, and I'm not fighting against that.

 

I wish there was a way to check into the stats before accepting the transfer and loading into a session though, that way I wouldn't even bother helping.
