And I have missed rbg colors from back in PS3 early day which are unique. I have a back missing corvette which is pretty cool. So modding is fun since this game is so limited in creations.

This is a seriously horrible timing, considering that I was planning to buy a PS4 (and eventually GTA if I'm not able to swap the free game GameStop gives on console purchases for GTA V) in March now that I actually would be able to get it.

I think we should start a support thread for those who want to transfer, us players on current gen can use our games, with last gen player's Game tag, to get the transfer ready.

 

And then, when they finally are able to move up, their characters should be waiting for them, what you guys think?

everything on your PS4 account will transfer over to PC one time then both accounts will be separate, so if you buy something after on PC for example it won't be on your PS4 account.

They should have just stopped it effective immediately. Then make an announcement that it was halted and for a limited time til March 6th transfers will be done case by case. I would hardly expect that a modded account would pass mustard and would get in instant ban. Players with legit transfers would go thru easily. Those that are buying these modded accounts would be wanting their money back fron the modders and good luck with that.

 

By doing it their way there is going to be an influx of modded accounts showing up. You know those level 1500+ players with little over 1 day total time playing online.

You do realize that legit players do that too? All you gotta do is wait for a money glitch or simply grind. It's not exclusively a thing that cheated accounts do.

 

Not really "legit" if you use glitches. Word kind of becomes meaningless if we shift the boundary of what we consider legitimate ways of making money back and forth.

 

 

Get what you're saying and do kinda agree. But R* does want glitches to be part of the game. They left all the 3D gen games intact when they were transferred to current gen with all the glitches.....and you even have to use a glitch to get a platinum on Vice City on PS4.

 

If you're saying stuff like the broken swing in GTA IV then sure.

But I don't believe Rockstar *wants* to keep glitches in. I thought that'd be obvious because they keep patching them, don't they?

So specifically there may be some stuff that they're okay with. But they don't seem to be appreciative of the money glitches.

 

If they didn't care about that, I don't think they'd also be banning "modders" who do nothing but make themselves filthy rich.

That is unless people mod their accounts and then start playing the game legitimately to blend in real RP with modded RP.They would still have no justification for being level 1000 have have less that a few days played. It would take too much effort to play enuf to justify the level and the amount of time spent online playing.

Just because some glitches stay in longer still doesn't mean they're okay with them being there. Who knows what's going on with their programmers.

Don't forget all the bugs that were or are still around. Just because it's there doesn't mean that it's welcome, wanted or appreciated.

 

If Rockstar SAYS they're okay with them, I'll believe it. Until that time, the argument of "it hasn't been removed yet" isn't convincing me.

And I have misinterpreted you as being a douche modder for wanting the jailbreaking of PS4 etc., which you are obviously not.

 

But we all know that modding for aesthetics is almost impossible to filter out from the malicious modding, and that is why all modding is banned.

I'm all for mods that bring us great new beautiful things. But when that also implies Aholes can run rampant, I will have to decline.
