Not paying insurance for destroying personal veichles

Ok, so

Over the last couple of days, several people have been destroying my personal cars but haven't been charged the usual insurance fee?

 

I maxed out 2 cars at Benny's and have the T20 which has the highest insurance in the game. When people destroy it they pay $20k. However, this doesn't seem to be the case over the last 2 days. It doesn't matter how they destroy my cars either. Be it in a jet, rocket launcher etc, they don't pay a single penny insurance. Is there some glitch going on or have more people found out a way to cheat paying insurance?

There are lots of other cars that have a $20,000 insurance premium, not just the T20.

 

How do you know players aren't paying for it? Is the message not coming up? Sometimes it doesn't even though they still pay. Did you have a bounty? Players don't pay for insurance if you are in your PV with a bounty.

Plus if headhunter or executive search etc missions are running there will be no cost.

cases in which they don't have to pay insurance:

- you have a bounty on you

- they have a vip mission running (i.e. headhunter, sightseer, etc.)

- you are playing on pc

(maybe even more cases i can't think of right now.)

You're on pc, no? Insurance for destroying other peoples' cars is disabled on pc, due to cheaters who made the game think you are destroying hundreds of their cars. They made you lose a lot of money and badsported you that way.

Only differences are the text chat, unlocked framerate, self radio and being able to change graphics settings. Current gen consoles are not cracked (apart from an old firmware version of the ps4, but you can't go online with that so i don't consider it jailbroken), so the only cheaters you'll meet, are using glitches. On pc you'll encounter a few scriptkiddies, but public sessions have been mostly scriptkiddy free recently.
