Pacific Standard Heist finale glitch: best methods for getting to the

So, now that the Kuruma method is dead and gone, what are the best ways of reaching the boat? Besides taking a cop car or a SWAT van, is there a helicopter available?

No, helicopter spawns were patched out a long time ago. Cop car is best for speed, SWAT van is best for safety (it's so slow you basically have to go directly to the boat). If you all wear the heavy vest outfit, a regular cop car should be fine; even if you get stopped or have to switch rides, it takes a long time for NPCs to kill you with those vests on.

Bikes are also fine as long as you're marginally competent. Wear the vests, again. Watch YouTube videos and learn one or two of the best routes; I know two different ones that keep you offroad most of the way. If you have someone who sucks on a bike and can admit that fact, put them on the back of someone else's. And make sure only one guy takes the money. You'll lose more, faster, with two guys carrying it.

One note about the cop car, too: if you take one (or more) and follow the checkpoints, I don't recommend parachuting. It's dangerous and random flukes of the physics will kill you sometimes. Just drive *carefully* down the cliff. There are videos of people doing it in Kurumas, just do the same with the cop car.

if you don't want to drive the fluffy bikes: just hop on it, drive down the street and hop into a regular pearly car. if everybody does that and everybody takes a different car, cops won't be shooting at you if you follow the sparkly yellow gps route.

Even with decent players it is almost impossible to not to lose at least 100k. With those stupid aimbot accuracy and slow af bikes.

Bikes, if you are careful, street car also block enemy bullets, swat van, and that's it. I hope someone finds a way back in garage somehow.

People should just learn to drive the bikes as intended

It's not hard

Alkaline's video prooves it, + it's faster

Some Tips:

  1. If you don't feel safe on a bike you can always take a parked car nearby.
  2. Bikes are the fastest alternative to getting to the canon.
  3. Take the grass and go over the hills to avoid cops/ roadblocks.
  4. Make sure to keep moving your joystick left and right to avoid getting hit by the patrol car's boost.
  5. Go on the Train tracks if necessary towards the tunnel.
  6. Eat a lot of snacks
  7. Make sure you have Armour equipped.

There is probably some more that these kind people would help you with. The Kuruma was good, but It's not the end of the world.

If you are decent you wouldn't lose more than 20k, so thus "decent" players don't lose 100k that's bad players.

Worse players can't get to the bikes without dying

My crew and I definitely had fun milking the heist glitch using the Kuruma. $625K per hour was nice alternating 50/50, 0/0 cuts using two hosts. But then my crew and I graduated from the glitch last October with the MC Clubhouse car dupe glitch with the Sultan RS and the more recently patched 20-car garage dupe glitch with the Retro Elegy. Money money money!

Try it yourself, they buffed the accuracy and spawn rate of the police.

A lot of people disagree with that. A lot of people can complete the heist the way Rockstar intended without losing more than around $10k.

If you really can't ride and suck at the game so much that you lose $100k by using bikes...

Jump on the bikes

Drive down the road

Turn left

Stop just short of the road block

Shoot the two police men

Borrow their car

Wait for the others to get in the car

Drive to the boat, via Great Ocean Highway, under Fort Zancudo, hang a right just before the bridge, going off road towards the boat.

Well, I've been doing it in bikes and having the same payouts of the Kuruma's days (and that means all or almost all the money). All we do is make sure the guy with the money has a heavy armored vest and leads the escape, he is almost never shot by cops if he doesn't shoots them too. The guys on his tail can drive what they wish (cars, bikes, whatever) they only have to just not die.

I saw a clickbait where they just kept killing cops until a chopper spawned and then they took the chopper to pick up the guy with the take and went straight to the Dingy.

But *cough*

Considering my teammates lost a little under 4K we have different definitions of the word decent.

ugh, a few more of this kind of sh*tty things and i should consider making schematics of how easy this sh*t is.

Really, even if the payout of the pacific standard was cut down by 50 percent....and human labs was not that easy, i would still grind the pacific standard because it is that easy:

1- go to bank

2- knock out the 2 cops

3- crowd control has one guy equiping an rpg and one guy following the demo and hacker, trough the first gate and is on guard for the NPC's that will storm off the stairs and kill those

4- demo opens the 2nd gate, both demo and hacker go trough

5- hacker hacks

6- demo opens last gate

7- either demo or hacker collects cash

8- they go back up and either the guarding crowd control watching the stair or the demo/hacker that is not carrying cash should guard it untill the money carrier is at the checkpoint at the entrance

9- after cutscene all except the carrier go out and kill every cop.

10- some non carrying person will go ahead, about 10 to 20 meters behind him the money carrier and pretty much right behind him the 2 other people.

11- the guy taking point kills all cops, if needed 1 of the people behind the carrier goes to the front to help the killing, none of the 3 defenders should even consider being cheap with explosive ammo.

Most important thing is that the carrier should be surounded/defended by his team mates.

Of course the money carrier should kinda be hiding most of the time and avoid shooting, since if he does aim at cops the cops can decide to start targetting him.

12- at the front they should move fast enough so at least the money carrier can hide behind the first wall on his right.

If possible and the front already moved beyond the 2nd wall on the right and the helicopter is still far off, then the carrier should climb over the first wall and go to the 2nd one, and go over that one and hit the 3th checkpoint, soon followed by the guy that took point, preferably the first helicopter that came from the left should be down by then though.

Have to note also that every single person should be bright enough of course to hit all checkpoints, otherwise they will get a fail and start all over again from the bank.

Besides that, bringing down the helicopters should be a priority once those are within range.

13- once that carrier hit that 3th yellow marker the one(s) being behind should retreat and also make their way to checkpoint 3

In the mean time the one(s) taking point should destroy all cops at the street.

They/he also should not hit that last yellow marker right across the street until everything is helicopter free and the carrier is right behind him and a 2nd person is right behind the carrier, since as soon that marker is hit one cop car will spawn and drive into that last alley and an other will come down the street.

Both should be RPG'd as soon as possible.

After that its just time to run at the bike and be aware of the chance that there will be a few cops very close to were the bikes spawn.

If all went well the loss of money should be an absolute 0

14- then on the bikes, carrier should go in the front, least skilled player should be preferably second last, unless he is good enough to count on that he can survive on his own.

If the carrier has a lead there is a huge chance he won't come across any early roadblocks, if he does(which again, unless he falls, he will rarely have to deal with that crap, if any) just needs to pass them going as left as possible over the grass and use the kerb boost.

15-Then it is just a matter of following the grass route till were that dirth road is at the horse stables, follow that, mind the poles, go further, jump over a bump/hill to get over a fence, then go a bit right trough an exit in the wooden fence and when coming across that one cabin with a guard, next to a construction site, pass that as right as possible without crashing into the crash barrier, cross route 66, go to the train track and then once you get there, with a loss of cash that should be by then between 0 or 3000, you have a load of options:

A) you get your whole team trough the train tunnel, climb the mountain and such and go to that jump.

Pro's:

-there is nothing much risky about this unless you cant jump and parachute from a bike and do not know how to land it without dying.

Con's:

-at the boat you will still have a wanted level so all players should be jumping pretty fast after eachother.

That's why a small break for late comers in first part of the tunnels is adviced so everyone is close together for the final part.

Though, if you take that break to far into the tunnel and the break is taking to long, cops will be spawning in masses in the park, making the chance of accidents likely.

Of course if all team members have a functioning brain and know this, this is completely avoidable.

also because there will be a wanted level once on the boat there is a big chance cop boats will spawn.

One can avoid the carrier being hit by having other players sitting next to him and pretty much being between him and the police boat and not having lazy players that shoot at said cops in their boat will also help.

B) just before you get into that tunnel you take the dirt road on the left and go straight to the boat like that.

Pro's:

-it is shorter then any other method that is not the elite route

-It is good if you got scrubs that can not parachute.

cons:

-there will be plenty of cops and for that route people should compensate their lack of skill for parachuting by having more skill at avoiding cops....again, it is doable to never get run over, but you got to have more knowledge/skill about cops their behavior.

-you will also not lose the wanted level.

C) before going trough the train tunnel go to the right, on the hill and then descend towards the bridge over the water, once over the bridge climb the hill to the checkpoint before going trough the tunnel

In this case it is adviced to have some non carrier going in front to kill the 2 cops at the tunnel checkpoint and maybe even kill the cop(s) next to their/the suv(s) that will always spawn in.

That last cop can be avoided by just taking the route left from the altruist camp to

Pros:

-if done properly, once in the tunnel there should be no chance to lose money, unless again, the team has some sh*tty members in it.

-The wanted level will be gone after the jumping of the cliff.

-easier way then the B) mentioned way

cons:

-takes longer then the last mentioned way.

Now, coming to the last way, i have to mention there are probably a lot of variations to get on the boats on bikes.

Also i am not mentioning cars since, well, those methods do not need explaining since they do not require it and i totaly hate the riot van way.

so , point D:

This is the most complicated bike route of them all, and also takes a bit longer, still, time limit should not be an issue and this is the way that consistently can get you full cut, if not always.

The carrier goes trough the train tunnel and waits there.

In the mean time all others just follow the official route in whatever way they like.

They must kill the cops quarding the checkpoint at the entrance of the tunnel, be fast enough not to get followed trough the tunnel by cops and if cops are to close to the entrance and are in a land vehicle, blow them up.

Once that is done they should go to the park, that one cop at his police granger should also be killed, and they should be moving pretty fast to avoid helicopters spawning in, and if those do spawn in, they should take them down and lead them away from the tunnels.

In the mean time, when the coast is clear the carrier should time it a bit and go trough the train track tunnel, trough the park, trough the other tunnel and hit that checkpoint, go back trough the tunnel again and just go to the jump.

Preferably by this time any helicopter in the park should been shot down by then and the rest of the team should be either airborne or almost airborne as to avoid new helicopters spawning in.

Then it is just waiting for the money carrier to do the jump to the boat and if all went right the wanted level should have been lost while the carrier should have lost exactly 0 cash.

Though it has been a long long way since i tried out the last method, it is by far my favorite one.

Thing is you need a team were all people know what is needed to happen and are pretty good with bikes and cops(again, pretty good, i consider myself just above average and back in the day i did this method without much issues)

Disclaimer: Honestly none of those routes were my idea except maybe A :p

edit: The one carrying the cash is the only one that should not have a heavy utility vest and it would be even adviced for him not to wear it.

Unless his deffence is bad or he himself is, he never should be even close to dying.

Patching the Kuruma method is just another pathetic troll move from R*.

Pretty sad, really. I've talked before about the idiocy of requiring a specific mission setup to procure an Armored Kuruma (for a small bank robbery no less), yet then denying its use for a major bank robbery.

I have no intention of feeding the R* trolls, especially while they urinate all over the concept of open world gaming, while trying to call it "rain".

I'm getting very weary of R*'s "you WILL play this OUR way or else" BS. The royal shafting of players via NPC traffic and attack cars in Import/Export missions is well documented, let alone all the other nonsense we've been putting up with for several years.

new cars always being released as planned, they reluctantly provide storage, and the vehicle selection is still limited to left or right :( i have 70 to sort through, at least a class option would make sense. another thing that baffles me in esc> online> first option is transfer character. play online is right at the bottom? how often do you think i'll tansfer?? why not put online right at the top so i can just hit enter twice.. does usability have no importance? maybe thats why snacks are burried and when i back out of the menu im dropping my ammo on the floor.

My intention is to always hook my friends up with easy money since they have normal everyday life taking them away from gaming. My crew and i are pros at doing the heist, keeping all of the money while using the Kuruma, and successfully hitting the redo glitch on the boat ride 99% of the time. I'm sitting on $400M, so I don't need the money, but I don't mind hosting repeatedly to help my friends out. It was a fun drive in the Kuruma. Don't hate on me because I'm asking for a better method than the bikes. Last time I checked, this is a discussion forum.
