Pacific Standard Kuruma method patched?

Wasn't the Armoured Karuma released with the heist update? Like isn't it a heist vehicle? Mad that you can't use it for the reason it was released.

That's not the intended purpose. It's easy on bikes.

It is even designed to be, specifically, a getaway vehicle in the first heist.

Not allowed to use it as a getaway vehicle in the last heist tho ! Gotta be fully exposed on those bikes.

Rockstar logic.

If you're worried about losing money on the bike ride, or players dying, just kill a hostage in the bank and steal the NOOSE van after you get to the bikes. Its obviously slower than the Kuruma, but its just as bulletproof.

except for tires...

Heard of creativity and multiple ways to approach a mission? You don`t have to approach it just the way the game tells you to. Its only one, safe way to do it that R* has lined out. I agree that it is easy to do it on the bikes, but with 3 other great people in the crew, a privilege you get only once in a while.

True. It can be annoying driving with flat tires, but you'll still get there. Just don't take the mountain route. Follow the Great Ocean Highway all the way to the river. Edited by kottonmouth401

Unless you are in a large crew and have many GTA friends. I preferred the bikes and losing 8K when I am making 300K never bothered me.

Same here, my only problem has been my time zone that didn`t quite line up with my crew mates. As long as one don`t loose 100k on the finale I`m fine aswell considering the amount one is making.

has anyone find a workround to get kuruma i mean it saves lot of time tough

lmao, you gotta be kidding. lectros may be slow for the bikes class, but still a lot quicker than the noob shell..Saying that using kuruma in pacific standard is a noobish way is like saying that people who glitch into solo public lobby a cowardly noob. We use kuruma not because we are a noob that can't drive bikes. We used it because it is practical, effective, cheap and efficient. The same reason why people glitch into solo lobby to do cargo/import export.

I guess its time to sell my kuruma, then.

I have never used that piece of sh*t outside heists anyway, and now that I don't even do the heist, its pointless to have it.

Hey Rockstar!

The navigators in the Van setup mission often drive themselves! Fix it! It's an exploit!

People are using Helis in the Signal setup mission! Fix it! It's an exploit!

People are using the Kuruma for the Bikes and Hack setup missions! Fix it! It's an exploit!

People are using the sniper rifle to shoot down the Savage in the Convoy setup! Fix it! It's an exploit! (Wait ... Actually, yeah, buff the f*cking Savage you morons!)

I struggle to see how people claim the Kuruma was not an exploit. Heists are like cinematic missions and are intended to be done the way R* has lined it out.

All of the heists could be finished in an easier fashion if there was not restrictions on they they are played.

Fleeca: you could drive the opposite way down the freeway, avoid all the roadblocks and jump in your own buzzard instead of getting picked up by the cargobob.

Prison break: you could just land in the prison with a chopper, pick up what-his-face and fly away.

Pac standard: you could just have four tanks waiting outside the bank and drive to the escape point in them, sod that just fly off the map in Savages.

Series A: I just can't remember how that one goes... I am sure a tank might help though.

The restrictions are in place so the job follows a specific route/story/theme not to stop people earning money from them. If I was part of the team that created heists, put all that effort into creating cinematic set pieces then found people had created work-arounds, I would probably be inclined to fix them too.

I'm doing it right now for the third time after reading this thread, the only problem with the Noose van is the tires as they are not bulletproof

I don't have a problem with bikes but i'm wondering why did they patch this now, it's been ages.

Well, this is blatant. Close an avenue of 'easy' money making.

Tightening the noose so creative ways to make money are gone. All in the name of macrotransactions. Glad I'm pretty much over this game. Pissing on players when this was a popular way to avoid bullets. I'm sure it didn't eat into their grand profit scheme too badly. In short, it's just a piss on the playerbase.

And people still worship R* why? Normally in life, accomplishment and success is celebrated. R* on the other hand, creative success and accomplishment is penalized with the more difficulty, forced public lobbies, exposure to trolling and more grinding. So ergo, it's a Dev instituted poverty scheme to keep everyone massively on the grind or terribly poor.

Either way, glad I've moved on. The fun is bled out of GTA:O.

#R*trollsall

Heists are still easy.

Just do some research and you will find what i call the "eastern grass route" which will bring you to the train track going trough sandy shores.

From there you have at least 4 options, 2 of them include still hitting the checkpoint.

And well...honestly if you cant keep 1 mil after 4 times training you should consider to quit the game entirely.

Besides that, all tips and tricks regarding the evasion of cops can be found everywhere.

Meh. Bikes are easy TBH, just you can lose some money sometimes.

What has irked me though is taking low levels through the heist will be a bit more tiresome come the final. However suicide at the bikes, take the bottom route and drive carefully and all is good.

I do however think this will affect new players as they will need to find an understanding crew in order to do the heist for the first few times. My friends and I are more than happy to take anybody through the heists regardless of level or nationality but that is not the case for a lot more people out there.

R* really can be douche bags sometimes, of all the things to fix after 23 months, they choose that...

Why now? After all this time they just randomly patch this. The karuma was my only saving grace when playing with randoms. Those idiots don't last 5 seconds on the bikes and even if they do, they lose a lot of money in the process.

Guess I won't be playing heists anymore.

Well sh*t... I`m only left with Import/Export if i ever need to make more money than I have atm.

R* patching creative ways as always.

I learned a way that should make the heist last maybe a few minutes longer while having no money loss, revolving around the bike method.

Also i know a way revolving around bikes to do the elite challenge.

And i know a way that is completely noob proof as long you have a crew that can jump and parachute from a bike after driving off a cliff.

Creativity has made a return, you just do not know it : D

Be honest here, though not all, most people do it because they are useless scrubs, not because of the slight possibility of losing around 30 k per player.

That just proves that Lester (or others) is terrible at efficiently and safely planning heists.

It was not a exploit because you did not glitch the game to do it nor did you anything that was somehow restricted. All that the mission says is: "go to the canyon", how you get there is on your own.

If I was part of the team that created heists, put all that effort into creating cinematic set pieces then found people had created work-arounds, I would probably be inclined to fix them too.

Its not really a workaround since you simply can get a streetcar was soon as you leave the city.

You are not restricted to drive the bikes to the canyon.

I see using the kurums as a creative and smart way to get the job done. I mean wich bankrobber in real life would use a bike to flee if he can get an amored car thats nearly as fast as the bike and can seat four people, who can shoot the crap out of everything that comes near the car.

Its actually funny (and sad at the same time) how some of the members here want to restrict other players how to play the game/heist.

If i want to use the kuruma, i use it. If you dont want to get in, fine by me as long as you dont die. If you did not get in and die, then expect to get kicked from my heist. If you dont want me to use the kuruma in your heist, go ahead and kick me, i dont care.

Seriously people, its a sandbox game i can do whatever i want, when i want to, as long as its in the borders of the terms of service.

If you dont like my playstyle thats ok but dont tell me how I have to play.

When they did the dbl cash heist event they disabled the losing of cash while escaping. They actually made it easier. We wont see dbl cash again bcuz of the repeat glitch.

Thank you.

now there will be a REAL Glitch to get the kuruma, a glitch that's actually doing something that you're not supposed to do to get that kuruma (and no, that wasn't the case before, i can always say that i walked near my apartment that happened to be the right apartment and got in by accident and it worked, no glitching intended and i kept doing it since i can)
