SWAT4 is on GOG

Woo, GOG has an exclusive, SWAT4. (Also SWATs 1-3.)

 

I never got to play this, despite the fact that technically I own a physical copy. A friend has bought it for me years ago and I never had the time to pick it up after I moved to another city

 

I've heard great things about the game, like the realistic tactics and how one can use other methods despite shooting/violence to complete missions, such as shouting the command to surrender (I mentioned it here). So I'm gonna get it and give it a shot.

Give it a try if you haven't already, it's pretty fun. Specially in Co-op.

Go all the way back and start with Sierra's Police Quest series. I believe that changed into the Swat series after Police Quest 3...or PC 3 was the first Swat...I can't remember...it was a long time ago.

 

I loved Swat 3 and thE small expansion (not even gonna try and guess at the spelling atm).

SWAT 3 and 4 are good games, but so frustrating with the A.I.

 

I mainly played SWAT 4, while my brother was a big fan of the earlier strategy-like SWAT 1 and 2, which I don't think I've ever played.

 

Might have to give SWAT 2 a try someday.
