Tempesta is basically an upgraded Entity XF!

I know it sounds ridiculous.

They don't share a same origin and they have totally different brands.

But they are going a same way:

Entity XF has the best handling among all supercars before the release of Tempesta.

It does not oversteer or understeer. And it's not easy to lose control or spin out even when turning with full acceleration.

The only drawback is the top speed.

Now it is Tempesta, which handles just right for very nooby players like me.

It's not fast as Nero, Itali, Proto, 811, T20, FMJ or so.

But when there are enough corners in a race, driving a Tempesta and it's confident to win.

How do you guys think about it? Thanks.

I am pretty sure the RE7B is the best handling Super and it still is. By a long shot.

For its speed it probably is.

I used to have the Entity though and its traction is insane, it's like a brick on rails. I drove it in stunt races because it was damn hard for other players to get you to spin out.

Eh.. the Entity looks a lot better IMO. I love the Koenigsegg ish design.

Ew, it looks like a PS2 car tbh

Tempesta is one of the best looking cars in the game, certainly above the Entity lol. I'd love for a new Koenigsegg-inspired vehicle to make its way into the game, but until then, the Entity will remain outdated and just meh (as far as looks go)

You all smoke crack. Only a few vehicles in this game share very similar handling dat. Very few..

To be honest the Tempesta has just made the Reaper even more useless now.

Considering its both quicker, sounds better and in my opinion looks better also.

I would say in a racing scenario the RE-7B is still king, but in free roam the Tempesta is the better bet.

If anything its about the most ugly cars in the game. The Tempesta looks like a cheap kit car.

One day, hopefully. With actual Koenigsegg style doors.

Nero feels a lot closer to the Entity in terms of handling. Just faster.

They do need to release a new Overflod car...

Base it on the Koenigsegg One:1 and call it the "Overflod Effigy".

Tempesta is basically an upgraded Vacca. The Vacca is based on a Lambo Gallardo primarily, and the Tempesta is based primarily on its irl successor, the Hurracan.

The problem is when r* tries to combine 2 car brands into 1 model. They are way better off when they take multiple years of the same car and combine them, or make more subtle changes like the Mamba and Elegy Retro. Personally I like the Reaper, but not many do.

There are many cars with better handling than the Entity...perhaps it's got easier handling to get used to if you're not a great racer I dunno?

I would love to see the 121 in the game though

There are a number of factors that make the Entity a better "driving" car than most others.. and I said "driving" instead of "handling", because there's more to it than just suspension dynamics, weight distribution and traction.

1. It IS a well balanced car, take a lot to oversteer and even then it's very correctable. It rarely ever completely spins out, you can almost always recover from a steering skid of any type.

2. It has AWD as several other cars do, but in this example it only adds on top of the already superb weight balance and traction. IF you spin out or crash, you can get going from a dead stop very easily, unlike the RE7B, for example, which likes to just do burnouts.

3. The front bumper overhang and the rear bumper overhang are very short, making the Entity EXCELLENT at hitting ramps or steep inclines, as well as landing jumps. There's a lot more forgiveness if you don't land a jump perfectly flat; the wheels being so close to the outside edges of the car means you are much less likely to hit the bumpers, which would slow you down.

4. It is a fairly heavy car, not the heaviest by any means but it is at least able to brush off some bumping from other cars. It will plow through cars like the RE7B, Tyrus or ETR1 like they're made of paper.

All of these factors along with several more make the Entity an all around great DRIVING car. RE7B may take turns at higher speeds, but it also punishes you severely if you screw up. The Entity is a very forgiving car.

And I'll say it again, I have 3 years experience with my Entity (never owned another Super aside from the Turismo R which I sold after 1 day and the Osiris I sold almost immediately), but finally upgraded to the Nero and they feel VERY similar in terms of these specific qualities.

So in a nutshell you confirmed what I said...a more forgiving car.

The leaderboards are all you need to look at to see which cars are more capable in the hands of a great driver.

Also I own EVERYTHING super wise across both characters now and have tested and driven them all extensively...correct if I'm wrong but are you critiquing the entity against all other supers when you've only ever owned two others?

I'd say it's more like an upgraded Zentorno in many ways, and for certain race tracks it's very decent. Long straights and long loops and you'll be out gunned as its top speed isn't amazing, but for tighter tracks and throwing it round corners, and stunt jumps it's great.

I'd say it's similar to a T20 in terms of performance, although the T20 is lighter and has slightly better acceleration. Both are relatively easy to drive and both are great in terms of an all round super car.

The Entity was my go to car back in the day for racing, before the Zentorno came out but it's an also ran these days, just good for looking at adoringly and bringing back old memories of victories past.

You said it..

I do get what you're trying to explain though.

Both the Entity XF and the Tempesta are one of the easiest Supers to handle around.

I wasn't arguing, I was adding to your statement. There are other cars that "handle" better than the Entity, but they require a lot of skill to benefit from the higher handling performance. The RE7B TECHNICALLY handles better - it has sharper turn-in, sharper turning radius, and less understeer. But the Entity has other factors that make up for what it lacks in those specific areas, and that's why many casual racers are better off with the Entity than they are with the RE7B, even though the RE7B is a faster car.

I'm a good racer, but I still stick with my Entity (and now, the Nero) because the "forgiving" quality of those cars supplements my skill. I win VERY frequently with my Entity and Nero.

Anyone who uses the entity for "winning races" definitively doesn't know about kerb boosting - aka, he's not that advanced in racing yet. That car is pure sh*t over kerbs.

Or he races against randumbs.

I've always found the Entity to behave over bumps and kerbs - it's probably one of the best off-road vehicles in the game. However, it wouldn't be my first choice racer anymore.

I think the Entity owes its continued popularity as "Idiot Insurance". It has a little more traction and weight to help survive early race carnage and catchup (shudder) can actually work in your favour once you take the lead.

It still doesn't benefeit of off roads, and well... catch up and slipstream is present in uncompetitive races. :/

Or he/she just doesn't give a sh*t and enjoys racing with cars they like?

It can be a tank against a lot of other cars... though I think the Zentorno is a bit heavier, I've never won a shove fest against a Zentorno.

Deflected a few others though, lol:

According to Broughy's spreadsheet, they're the same weight - which surprised me. My Entity is black though, which is very slimming. However, the Zentorno has 30% power distribution to the front compared to the Entity's 20%, which might be why it feels more planted.

Quite the shunt with the ETR!

Quite the shunt with the ETR!

lol yeah I kinda felt bad, but at the same time I figured hitting him square in the back was less likely to cause either of us to spin... didn't expect him to go flying off the track though.
