Something like that, for various reasons. I never bought it and have posts going back years saying as much.

 

Anywho, if this is the leak, a few crudely put together pictures which could be from anything, under the pretense that you know more but can't say it cause "it could damage the studio", then uhhhhhhhhhhh.

Watching "Souls" from an in-game theatre is something that can definitely happen according to the patent, though the patent refers to "Netflix" as an example, instead of "Disney +".
These are not exclusive images, they can be found by searching for patents files under Leslie Benzies's name.
I call the "1 minute video thing" bullsh*t, that you made up from reading the patent and seeing the pictures.

It seems to describe a way to make the game react to music in sort of automated way (from what I understood).

Ex. you select a song before a deathmatch, the game automatically knows when the drop, or hook of the song starts, and modify in-game features according to that.

Also, watching media inside a game is not new, it's a popular thing in VR Chat and other social games but it might be a clue to what they're trying to tap into with the game. Perhaps they're trying to combine the social experience of something like VR Chat or Second Life with a fully fledged open world game with driving, shooting, action, etc.

I don't think Vr, or social interactions in Vr is going to be the focus or revolution of the game though, as the game is developed for consoles and mobile only according to job applications, so who knows.  Hope 2021 is the year we get some sort of official announcement with some god damn answers

I actually admire the hell of Benzies and the work he did creating some of my favourite ever games. He's an industry legend and I am very curious to see what he's working on.

 

What I'm not, however, is deluded.

 

All the information you leaked is from a publicly posted patent and not from a video you apparently saw, which you won't post because you'll "damage the studio" despite all your information coming from a, once again, public patent. You also say that you don't want the attention despite coming in here the other day saying "leak next week" for attention.

BARB is hiring a Player Engagement Lead. Player engagement only tends to happen when there is something to enagage players about. What else would someone with a job title like that be doing all day? 😆
