I just want a good, old fashioned swing set, GTAIV-style. Is that too much to wish for?

Gta 5s life is slowly becoming closer and closer to the end, but Rockstar are still not ready to let their 5 year old, almost 6, crime loving, child die. They’ve introduced many updates this years, each adding in things a lot of players have been asking from nightclubs to the Jetpack, but still one request has been left untouched, casinos!

I believe the reason Rockstar haven’t given us something requested more than heists isn’t because they aren’t listening, but because a system like casinos can be hard to balance in our free roam world, they don’t want us to make millions so fast, but also want them to be rewarding, so I have come up with an idea of casinos that might be beneficial to Rockstar and the players.

Casinos should be a buyable property, ranging from 2 - 3.5 mil without upgrades. Upgrades to the business should be another 1-1.5 mil. (I know 5 mil doesn’t sound very fun, but the payout is worth it) Owning a casino will be the safest way to make money, but you can get rich quick by taking chances in other players’ casinos.

The first way to gain money as an owner, will be bidding owned cars. You can have other players come and bid on cars you no longer want, you have the chance to sell it for less or more than if you’d sell it to a Los Santos Custom. However, once it’s one the market, you can’t take it back. A sell can be complete by the seller personally accepting an offer or by time running out on the sale. This can allow players to also buy cars cheaper and compete against each other for big rewards!

The second way to make money is similar to the nightclub. As an owner, you need to maintain a high popularity level in your casino. Casinos can hold up to 1-2 million, but increases at an unsteady rate due to people getting lucky or not, but is always slowly increasing. Other players are also allowed to gamble in your casino in another one of two ways, by playing either against each other in games like Poker or against your Casino in games like blackjack and slots. Players have to bet their own money and if they lose it goes to the Casino. If a player wins in BlackJack or slots, the casino gives them a reward from the vault storing the money.

If a casino doesn’t have enough money to pay the winners, either the owner has to put personal money in the vault or the casino closes until the owner can put money in the vault. This allows money to be recycled in game and wouldn’t even require a pay from Rockstar besides the vault earnings. They could even put a limit on gambling to something like 50-100 thousand.

Players could give away cars for very cheap or get money relatively quick, but there ways around it if Rockstar chooses to. Personally, I believe that we deserve an easy way to earn money with all of the expensive updates that don’t pay well, but if Rockstar wanted to be greedy (which they usually are) they could even put time limits on car bids and gambling in a certain game.

With my update idea coming to an end, I believe Rockstar hasn’t added this into the game yet, not because it’ll make players a lot of money, but because it’ll be a last ditch effort to revive the game. Casinos are in high demand, this could add a level of criminal work by illegal gambling and a really fun business that would attract a lot of people back to their game. I think that if they do add this, it’ll be once the game is on its last leg. I hope you enjoy my idea as much as I had creating it! Like and share and on the slight chance Rockstar sees this, maybe we can gamble soon!

Corrupt Cops/Crooked Cops:

Allows player to purchase/work at police stations around Los Santos and Blaine County. They play as corrupt cops. They take bribes, confiscated drugs, guns, etc. They own a building where they store confiscated goods and later sell them to buyers. Right as they go outside to deliver the goods, their building is surrounded by cops that “discovered” what was going on and the player must fend them off for some time, then they can deliver. If they fail and die, there is a “cool down” where you aren’t allowed to be a cop and you can’t go in your building as your supply gets reconfiscated

Naval Warfare DLC:

Like the gunrunning and air shipment dlc but in the sea. Buy either the aircraft carrier, or some naval building, and manufacture and sell bio-chemical warfare. (Gases, poison, etc.). You would get boats to buy including a cruiser, like avenger, moc, terrorbyte, and it would have cannons, air to air weapons, torpedos, and a vehicle upgrade bay... maybe... idk, but it would be cool. The guy working with you would be some battle worn naval general. Two ship ideas are weaponized dinghy, and pirate ship. New weapons could be railgun, flamethrower, taser, smoke grenades, flash bangs, emp bombs, and maybe some other stuff. Feel free to throw any ideas in you feel fit.

They should have made it where changing the tint on the unholy hellbringer and the widow maker changed the color of the lasers

I once thought that it would be good to allow players to offload their cars and bikes to other players in session via an "Auto Mart" type feature. It probably wouldn't work though because

a) Rockstar want you to sell your custom cars at a loss, then buy them back again at full whack when you miss them, paying to customise them all over again. They want new players to pay full whack too, and the thought of them buying cheaper, pre-customised cars from other players would be anathema to Rockstar.

b) The GTAO community being what it is would be constantly out to rip each other off. The trading feature is bad enough on Rocket League.

I'd actually like Base Jumping to return.

Made a thread about two years ago regarding Sports and Activities. Later on in the thread I posted a few ideas, including sports/activities which could be triggered in freemode.

Modifiable homes. We have options to change the features and interior design of our mobile operations centers, biker clubs, and so on, so why not have those options for where our characters live? Change the interior theme of your home, revert your heist room back into an office, upgrade your garage without having to move.

A proper Battle Royale mode.

Come on Rockstar. Get with the times. The map is great for it, and you can definitely muscle up something better than the measly modes we've been getting with limited players. Let's get a proper BR going with at least 80-100 players and then you're talking.

I'm genuinely shocked they haven't capitalised on it properly yet. Maybe it's because they know their servers suck, and it'd probably be 100 players stuck in the clouds 😂

It's a fun gamemode, and I'm 23. So not quite.

Just because you don't enjoy it, doesn't mean a lot of other people don't. It wouldn't harm your enjoyment if Rockstar added the mode, it'd add something different to play on this game and give players another way to make cash.

Or nuclear powered sub with similar capabilities....and a pool table!

Realistically, either's a good idea, and how much would we have to spend on that crap!?!?!

Buttloads of money, plus upgrades, etc.

Remember R* has to make the player spend, spend, spend...

I have a few ideas.

A hunting dlc.

I don't know if its possible, but I'm pretty sure it can be done. We already have wild animals in the single player, they could be used, but we would also need rare, more challenging animals.

I'm thinking a building (a hunting shack, or something nicer, with throphies you unlock... up to your imagination) where you could start hunting missions, upgrade your hunting gear, so on. These missions would start in the session, but you could also start them in private sessions. The missions would have a progress system, or you'd randomly get rare missions, where you have to track rare animals, but for a better payout.

Marshy areas for alligators, (or maybe some fun missions where you'd have to go to the golf course, to take down one, and it would be chasing down npcs, or in the canals)

The forests, riversides for deers, maybe bears, bunch of wild animals, you name it.

I, personally hate climbing up/down the mountains in this game, but it would be interesting to track down animals in the mountains, so I'm thinking of ropes, or something that would make it a bit more cooler and less annoying.

I don't know what performance impact it would have on to the game, if animals were running around freely (in online), but I'm pretty sure spawning them in missions wouldn't hurt.

A treasure hunt dlc.
I'm thinking of all the water around us, but not only that, we also have a big map.

When I first thought of this idea, I mostly imagined it underwater, but using the whole map, opportunities are rising.

I think it would be cool to have a dock space, where you could convert the kraken, upgrade it, that way you could unlock more missions with higher rewards. We also have a scuba suit already. These missions would also start in the session.

Also have a land vehicle, like a van or anything with the same goal.

You could track down the location of the treasures, solve puzzles, etc. The missions could also have enemies, with bunch of different scenarios, but not all the missions.

You'd have to collect the treasure, secure it and sell it, but with this much effort, the payout should be big.

A dlc with aircraft carriers, submarines, sea battles, weaponized vehicle combat.

We already have them in the game, kinda.

I'm thinking of aircraft carriers that can store aircrafts, boats. (You could start specific missions from it, like the moc missions)

Submarines could be fun too, but we don't need another orbital cannon launcher. Tho, launching self-controlled rockets through the whole map, now thats something. I imagined the faster, more smooth version of the arena wars' rocket.

These are all military grade, so adding more gadgets to your arsenal, alerts when an orbital cannon gets launched, so on. I'm not thinking of anything op, just some counters to already existing op stuffs.

Weaponized boats.

And big-scale open lobby games. For example, we already have a few islands and coasts. Starting some battlefield inspired conquest events, where teams could fight for points. To balance it, you'd get vehicle spawns in different spots for each team, and each team would get their own vehicles, that only they can access. These big-scale events would only start if enough players were in the circle (the event would appear on the map in a big yellow circle or something. Players would get alerted, that this event is starting, and they'd have enough time to get there). Having these events in an open lobby would make them more popular and more special in my opinion, since its a pain in the ass when you have to search for game modes, and join them, host them, so on. You'd get special unlocks out of these events and a decent, nice payout. But these events should be really special, so players are actually excited to play them, and the rewards are also special.

This is not a dlc idea, but adding mini games to Del Perro Pier would also be fun. Just go there with friends from time to time and win small prices, have fun and chill after a hard day.

A casino dlc would also be cool. Gambling, or having a casino... both ways, it would be fun, but I'm pretty sure lots of you had this idea so I'm not even going to talk about it.

One of the things that annoys me most about GTA is Rockstar’s inability to go back and update features. The game plays like a patchwork, and that’s because it is one. This update concept could quite easily be two or three separate DLCs but doing them as one means that they all fit together instead of being stacked on top of each other.

To start with, we have a new property. Much like the nightclub, this acts as a hub for your other business, allowing you to increase profit from each of them. Unlike the nightclub, you work for it here. It’s not idle cash, but it’s worth it. You start by buying a goods warehouse, which has room for product from all your biker businesses (more on that later), as well as room for vehicle parts and weapons. It also has your delivery vehicle warehouse, where you can upgrade and store the trucks, vans, and trailers you need, including new Benefactor Reisen.

Mercedes_Benz_Actros_MP_IV_%281%29.jpg

Benefactor Reisen

In order to accrue product in this new warehouse, you must source it from another business. This involves picking a vehicle or trailer of your choice, driving to the business you want to source product from, and driving back. Be careful on the return trip, though, as rival organisations can come after your product. How much product you can take is dependant on which vehicle you use. A mid-size pickup can carry a lot less than a B-Double.

Pickup trucks are an important part of this business, being used for picking up and delivering smaller trailers and lots of goods, as well as being a useful escort vehicle for large loads. Several older pickups and SUVs can now have tow hitches installed at your warehouse, allowing you to use them in these missions. In addition, two new and two returning pickups have been added, the Vapid Overlander, Vapid Contender Classic, Benefactor Schlamm and Albany Calvalcade FXT.

Albany Cavalcade FXT

There’s money to made on a small scale, but in order to earn the big bucks, you’ll need a big rig. By default, your warehouse will only have room for one large truck, plus trailers, but extra space is available at extra cost, up to eleven trucks total. This allows to customise trucks already in the game, like the Hauler and Benson, and new trucks, such as the Benefactor Reisen and Coil Martian

Tesla_Semi_3.jpg

Coil Martian

The storage for the warehouse is limited in how space it holds for each product. Once you have filled the space for a given product, you will not be able to source any more from your other businesses without selling some first. The categories are as follows

Alcohol
Animal Materials
Art & Antiques
Boat cargo (warehouse upgrade required)
Bullion
Car parts
Cocaine
Counterfeit Goods
Counterfeit Cash
Chemicals
Electronic Goods
Fuel
Forged documents
Gemstones
Jewellery
Medical Supplies
Meth
Motorcycles (warehouse upgrade required)
Tobacco
Vehicle cargo (warehouse upgrade required)
Weapons & Ammo
Weed

If goods are delivered to the warehouse that do not have a single category, such as ‘tobacco and alcohol’ or ‘narcotics’ from cargo crates, each crate will be added to a random category out of those available that fit the product being delivered.

Biker businesses

There are five new biker businesses in this update, to compliment your new mega warehouse. The first four, counterfeit goods, alcohol, tobacco and the chop shop, operate the same as the existing businesses, with stealing or buying supplies to accrue product, but the fifth, illegal transport, is a little different. It operates more closely to the nightclub, in that you do missions or pay money to fill supplies, and it’ll keep generating money as long as the supplies are there. This money will be stored in a safe at the depot until you pick it up. This business, due to its nature of being on the road, is also more susceptible to raids from police or rival gangs, unless you pay for an escort convoy, and you’ll have to jump to its defence, like you do your other business. However, if you’re standing guard near all your properties, ready to fend off attackers, that’s not going to help the trucker who may be anywhere on the map, and you must be able to get there quickly, or else risk losing payment for that job.

Vehicle cargo

Included in this update is an overhaul to the vehicle cargo system. As part of your new warehouse, you can choose to add a special vehicle cargo warehouse, at extra cost. This warehouse can store up to 200 cars, as opposed to the old warehouse’s 40. This allows you to store one each of the now total 135 cars, as well as future proofing for more cars to be added. It also gives you the ability to include vehicles in special orders from VIPs who can have very specific taste. This is in addition to the car collector system already in the game, which can be accessed from your original vehicle warehouse, as before, but with this many new cars, you’ll be rolling the dice a lot more than before. With you upgraded vehicle warehouse, you can continue to build collections or force high end cars to appear on demand. The drip feed cars are also available early through vehicle cargo. In the spoiler below, I've included the full Import/Export list, as well as some ideas for collections.

Boats and motorcycles

From your new warehouse, you can also add a boat storage area, and dry dock, to allow you to source and sell boats, the same as cars. However, these boats will be on a trailer and must be retrieved using one of the tow vehicles covered earlier. These can then be sold either individually, as part of a special vehicle set, or as a part of a warehouse VIP order. Motorcycles can also now be sourced and sold the same way as cars

New source missions.

In addition to the new cars and vehicle types, there are also new source missions to shake things up. The first is that a new high-end or custom masterpiece is being displayed at a nearby car show. Sneak in under the cover of darkness, or as a spectator, and steal the car.
The second is that the car is being used in a street race. Stop the street race and bring the car home. Alternatively, you can sit in the back of your chauffeured luxury van sipping whiskey, dial 911, and let the cops stop the race.
An off-road club is hosting a meet involving the SUV you’ve been tasked with stealing. Get out into the countryside and get the car, preferably before it goes off a cliff.

New travel options

Sick of driving everywhere? I know I am. In this update, NPC chauffers will be added, allowing you to kick back and enjoy the view, or more likely scroll down Bleeter for the whole journey. The chauffer is based out of your new warehouse, and by default will only be able to drive an Oracle. However, as you use the chauffer, he will level up and gain access to new cars, including the new Benefactor Verstecken Mayscream and Oracle Stretch.

VIP orders

Much like the nightclub, VIP orders are always available for you to complete, if you have the product on hand. These can range from a kid in Chumash wanting a Woomera, Seashark, and some drugs, to massive criminal enterprises contacting you to supply millions of dollars’ worth of product. Some of these may be general, such as a customer asking for an Everest, or even a muscle car, without caring which one, and they’ll just pay you for whatever you give them, or they may want specific plates. The more specific orders will, of course, attract a higher premium. This also works with narcotics. Some VIPs may just want narcotics, others want specific drugs.

When selling to VIPs, players must have the correct vehicle combination available to deliver the products. For example, if the VIP demands six cars, you must have a car trailer. If the VIP wants other products in addition to the cars, you must have a B double trailer capable of carrying the extra goods, in addition to the car trailer. All trailers and vehicles do cost money to buy and gain access to but can be upgraded and customised. Plus, it will be worth it to access the larger VIP orders, the largest of which will require multiple players, each with their own semi-trailer setup.

In summary, this update would include a new warehouse, with more detailed stock management, new and returning vehicles which would add to the game, and update the badly outdated special vehicle cargo. It would provide lots of things to spend money on, but more than ample opportunity to earn that money back. Please let me know what you think. In the spoiler below, I've included the inspiration for some of the names and other bits and pieces.

Spoiler

HSV Maloo/ Cheval Woomera

The name Woomera comes from the world record attempt by Mark Skaife for “World’s fastest production pickup”, which Holden dubbed “World’s Fastest Ute” in its marketing. This record attempt took place in Woomera, South Australia.

Brabham BT62/ Cheval Motueka

The name Motueka comes from the birthplace of Denny Hulme, who to date is the only New Zealander to have won the F1 World’s Driver Championship, something not even Bruce McLaren managed. He won that championship in a Brabham. It seemed natural that the tribute to the Brabham should tribute him by name. The collection including the Motueka is also a reference to him, including versions of cars that he raced in his career.

Holden Monaro/ Cheval Everest

The name Monaro comes from an Aboriginal name for ‘high plain or plateau’. Everest is the highest plain there is. It’s a nice way to poke fun at how stupid the name is, especially as the car is pronounced Mon-AH-row, but the place it’s named after is Mon-AIR-row. Another name I had for it was the Cheval or Declasse Eden, named for the other half of the Eden-Monaro federal electorate in south east New South Wales.

Caterham 7/ Ocelot Cavalier

This was a fun one. I started by typing ‘gentleman’ into a thesaurus, as the Seven is largely a clubman car. Cavalier was one of the results that came up. I quite like it because cavalier means pretentious. I feel it fits with the Ocelot brand.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/ Benefactor Verstecken

Verstecken is German for ‘hide’. It’s a fun play on Sprint. Mayscream comes from the Mercedes-Maybach range, the founder being named Wilhelm Maybach. The Wilhelm scream being a widely used sounds effect, the name Mayscream came about.

Mercedes-Benz Actos/ Benefactor Reisen

Reisen is German for travel. Not that creative

Mercedes-Benz X Class/ Benefactor Schlamm

Schlamm is German for mud. Plus, I just think it sounds funny. Have you figured out that I’m not German yet?

Tesla Semi/ Coil Martian

A reference to Tesla owner Elon Musk’s desire to go to Mars through another of his companies, Space X.

- People in your organization can use 4 toys at the same time
- Unlock different abilities and weapons for your toys
- New missions similar to diamond shopping, headhunt and executive search
- Organize RC races
- Make a replica of any personal vehicle you want (it shouldn't cost more then 100k-200k)
- last unlock is a military drone

I have an idea thats very possible and would bring something new and very fun to the table but they probably prohibited any chance of interest with all the space type stuff.  If they were to consider and add this tho it would be the best DLC in a long while imo.  What you guys think?

Would definately breathe new life into the game and rekindle my fire.  One can only dream.

@Jackimo1999 If you already have an insurgent or MOC, you should also be able to use them for small cargo runs.
