The other game mode I thought of was called "Fugitives" and it would work a bit like Hunt the Beast

 

Those players who sign up get a chance to be one of three fugitives when the event start clock counts down. Your character then appears in an orange prison uniform and is armed only with a pistol. You can't call anybody, or get any weapons, call for your own vehicle.

 

You each have 30 minutes to reach a waypoint on the map, but you can only travel on foot and will be off-radar. However you will appear on-radar for the last 5 seconds of every minute that passes. You can hijack a vehicle, but the mechanics of the game mode will put you in the back, like when you call a taxi (or when Michael is in the back holding a gun to Franklin in story mode), and when you are being driven by the hysterical driver, which won't be at full speed, you will appear on the radar.

 

If you make it to a waypoint = win.

If you all make it a waypoint = win + a bonus

The player who takes down a fugitive = a win

Make the game world a bit more dynamic.

Add a second freight train to the other track going the other way, make the freight trains make stops at various places, make city buses make stops and make NPCs get on and off the buses and passenger trains, add dynamic road work, and so on.

 

 

add the ability to flip asymmetrical hairstyles on their vertical axis.

To be able to fire some hand guns and smgs one handed, can be turned on in the interaction menu

A submarine that can fit multiple players at once would be amazing and great fun.


Make the game world a bit more dynamic.
Add a second freight train to the other track going the other way, make the freight trains make stops at various places, make city buses make stops and make NPCs get on and off the buses and passenger trains, add dynamic road work, and so on.
Add the ability to flip asymmetrical hairstyles on their vertical axis.

Love these.

Rockstar should have given the CEO / BIKER businesses some exclusive unlockable vehicles available after so many successful sales, say after every 100 or so. The Gunrunning thing does have at least a bit of extra interest by giving a point to the resupply / research missions, as you can unlock items by doing them.

 

Having an exclusive vehicle or some other collectibles to aim for during the sales of items would at least have given the missions some purpose.

 

Unlocking items and outfits was a good motivator for the collect quests in RDR, so they could roll them out into GTAO

I have an idea for a new type of deathmatch called "all out!" its inspired by the new up date. 30 players two teams each team will have a sargent a lieutenant and a captain. All ranks will be given according to player level so the 3 highest ranked on each team will be the officers and the rest will be privates. The sargeant will have his moc spawned into the match, the lieutenant will have access to update vehicles like the apc et,c the the captain will have access to mk II weapons an the infantry will be able to use their own personal weapons. every weaponized warstock vehicle can be found depending on the area. Two infantry can ride in the apc , halftrack etc with the lieutenant. the moc will serve as a stationary forward command with two privates on the front and rear guns. In some maps the moc can go mobile .

Instead of bullshark testosterone the player on foot that scores the highest will have acces to the Juggernaut suit and minigun for a period of 1 minute 30 seconds. I also imagine heavily armored cargobobs with a rear hatch for a drop zone situation so maybe 3 privates could have a role as paratroopers. Lastly the locations could be in open areas like chilliad forrest the training grounds north of paletto bay the senora deessert areas ,sandy shores the ,dessert areas near maudes trailer, LSIA ft zacudo and raton canyon with teams spawning on the far ends, or maybe all of losantos.

The teams would spawn about 800 ft or a mile away. Also there wouldbe diferrent modes like a surrender mode were if on team beats the other team by a certain ammount of points the other team surrenderrs and a cut scene i shown where the loosing team is being marched into transport vehicles with theie hands up at gunpoint by the winning team or a capture mode wear you have to capture the other team npc general who is holed up some where. I thought of this becauese i havent seen much action and this would be a great way to do it.

I really think Rockstar should have allowed us to place crew emblems on MKII weapon varients. The more flexibility we have, the better. In my perspective it's the small things like that - that can make a big difference.

I believe it would give better chance to handguns and shotguns and it would balance the weapons better. So you would be able to shoot those weapons faster, however if you do not depress button completely before trying to shoot another round, it would short stroke the trigger if I am using correct expression. Gun wouldn't fire so you have to press the trigger again. It happens like that in Mafia3 and it is really cool feature which adds to realism and improves gun fighting.

 

Also, Rockstar really should fix terrible gun sounds, and add some muzzle flash and recoil. We spend 90% of time shooting guns and yet gunfight in GTA leaves so much to be desired.

I am aware we can shoot pistols like that but it doesn't really change much. Rate of fire is barely increased and "feel" of shooting it like that is way too generic. There is no increased recoil and shooting the gun slow or fast feels the same. I also did not notice if the slide stays locked back after the last round was fired or if , after reload, slide gets racked?

 

Shooting mechanics were always weak point of GTA games and I really hope they will do something about that.

If I remember rightly, the slide does remain back when a clip is empty or when fully out of ammo. Pretty sure I noticed it when I first played SP on NG. :p

Do you mean slide locks back after your magazine is empty or after you completely run out of pistol ammo?

 

The other thing that bothers me is the way our character reloads pump action shotgun. It doesn't matter if you fire 1 or 7 rounds, reload takes the same time.

 

I understand most of players do not care about weapons as long as their K/D ratio is good, but as someone who really likes weapons, i would appreciate more effort from Rockstar end to improve gun mechanics and give us more of "real" feeling when using those guns.

Crew colors too. My crew has the black crew color so a MK II weapon with a jet black tint would look nice.

Seconded.

I suggest adding sniper rifle sway, a breathholding mechanic (hold left stick button while ADS), and the ability to go into a prone position (hold the Stealth button while not ADS).

Holding breath and going prone would both individually reduce rifle sway, and stack together to minimise it.

Moving around would increase rifle sway.

Seeing how this guy's able to lock down vehicles in a big plane, it makes me wish they did something with the Titan (around 8:00 he detaches the truck) :

 

 

 

If you could not only open the Titan's door, but toggle between locking vehicles down inside, that'd be really cool. Even if it didn't get used much, it'd just be a nice feature.

That'd be an awesome reason to get a Titan. Imagine your friend flying a Titan with you in the back with your Insurgent and he drops you out over the desert to kick ass. I'd drop money on a SC for that. Edited by PwnageSoldier

I want to be able to call in my secondary character during gameplay to simply follow me around in another PV, shoot hostiles with whatever gun you last used with him/her, sit and defend and area, ect.

That would be awesome to have! Though I would like this to only be limited to non-public sessions since tryhards would just have their secondary character armed with a sniper to help strafe snipe since the A.I.'s are just blatantly unfair with Snipers while moving.

Plus this could help make my dream come true if our other Secondary character could follow you in a jet like a wingman. I always had a bigger interest in A.I. behavior instead of human behavior.

I think we should get a new DLC car from GTA IV. My favorite car in GTA IV is the Super GT. I would really like seeing that make a return with the same model and nut something new. The car looks great as it is. BTW I think it should be a sports car and not a super car because there are too many super cars in the game.

1. As you've come to know all too well in the past few days Rockstar punishes bad behaviour severly. But what incentive do they give for beeing nice? The good sport reward (now 2000$) should be 50000 dollars at least. Los santos would be a much better place if that were the case.

 

2. The whole point of owning a business is beeing in charge. You have a bunker worth millions and your workers choose what research they do. I want to choose what they spend my f*cking money on. "Oh, You wan't that thermal scope? Let me just finish research on some paint for your gun."

I have to wait for an entire month to get that scope. That's just bullsh*t.

 

3. Insurance should not be payed for weaponized vehicles. I'm flying in my chopper, minding my own business, when a guy on one of those flying bikes shoots me down. I get in my Ruiner and kill him, getting a 20000$ bill. Emediately after that some guy in a rocket launcher apc blows me up. I destroy his apc and BAM, another 20000$ wasted.

So, here something for encouragement for players to STEAL I/E cars when being sold instead of just blowing them up that appears to be the most cases, since not everyone can kill the driver with bullets.


" If you steal another car from an enemy organization, the payout from this vehicle will be increased by 100%. "

Something someone suggested on YouTube for the Heavy Sniper. When people used to suggest proper bullet physics, bullet drop, etc. I used to think that was a little much for GTA; that it was unnecessary realism. Now with explosive bullets, I'm not sure.

insurance hasn't been made for vehicles lost in combat, but for vehicles lost in non-combat

 

 

i'd like:

 

- front bumper with functional anti-fog lights for standard sultan

- NPC that seeks you like cops, and not like stupid fools that spawn exactly where you are. i made 4 kilometers at high altitude in helo, how the f.. they can spawn near me when i lower my altitude in that lost canyon. this is not difficulty or challenge, this is just bull...

- more trailers for trucking missions (tanker, cars...)

- 20 slots garage in bunker, where i could park any car (military, personal, wastelander...)

- when you buy a garage, being able to choose between actual ultra polished style, or a more realistic and dirty style. like races victory background screen garage for example, or something that looks like the 6 slots or the 2 slots garages. i mean just a garage lol)

Not sure what you ment with this. It was implemented as a means of discouraging meaningless killing. But it's also there when you just try to defend yourself. What am I supposed to do when someone attacks me with a weaponised vehicle? Either run all the time, or pay the insurance. It should be managed with a "who fired first" system. If you get fired upon first you should not be forced to pay their insurance.

Rockstar is confused on this apparently. There are so many aspects to this game that encourage killing, and at the same time there are theese preventive measures. They are way out of ballance.
