I really don't know if this was mentioned earlier, but since you're into multiplayer stuff, maybe you can take a look at the GTA 3 cut multiplayer maps. Vadim M

a video about them.

I did consider adding the GTA3 multiplayer maps earlier, and there's a big chance it will be introduced in the 3.3 update.

 

Things I would do to the map after converting:

  • The sewer area would have two models for the vault, one with the vault blown open, and one with the vault wall intact. This can be used by server scripters for some type of cutscene where the wall is blown open, as an example.
  • Allowing the player to access the sewer without teleporting (possibly enex markers or openable doors, if it's the former you can disable them, if it's the latter I might have two objects for this aswell, one which can be opened like interior doors, and one which cannot be opened.
  • Some of the maps would probably be seperated from the normal exterior world
  • 2dfx will be converted too
  • If the props used are attached to other map objects, they will be seperated (or replaced with existing props if they have no differences), some of them will be breakable
  • Document the proper usage/locations of the maps

But since I only saw the video, I don't know what will be required until I extracted the files and opened them in 3ds max myself.

It might also be available in singleplayer, not sure.

 

 

 

The sewers, the construction site and the Chinatown could be avaiable everywhere (although sewers more fit into MP). As for the Pike Creek, it seems that some of paths are blocked on that map, so there's no way Pike Creek can be available in singleplayer.

Not sure what the purpose of it would be, or the befit.

 

I have some great ideas to help this awesome mod!

 

- Add a the Subway El Train running on the other track, as of now it only runs on one.

- Create a new side mission, "Subway Driver". You are timed as soon as you start with a time of 1 minute. You must deliver passengers to their destinations on time, each stop adds 30 seconds to the timer. If you miss a stop the time will be subtracted as well as money. Add speed bonuses for your time journeys, and more passengers add more money (make this random for all stations). Side mission will finish once you have made 6 full circuits around all the stations. The side mission should be accessible to both the El Train and the Subway Train crossing all the islands.

- Add passengers waiting on the stations and getting on the trains.

- Fix the door animations for both the front driver's seat and the passenger doors.

- add sewer interior connected to the Liberty City bank in Ghost Town, enter-able from an exposed train pipe with a construction scene, using a yellow marker. Then extend the interior into the bank to the front door, where there is another yellow marker, which would lead outside.

- add construction site Fort Staunton interior, accessible via the a yellow marker from the lift.

- make Mainland Liberty more diverse, too many buildings in one area tend to be too similar.

 

- support for DYOM by editing the scr.scm script to add the new pedestrians, weapons and cars!

The elevator idea seems like a good idea.

Passengers already wait and get on the train, but the stations need to be lowered a tiny bit so peds wont exit the trains on the wrong side.

The "Subway Driver" side mission you mentioned is actually planned, as I plan on adapting the SA side-mission to work with LC train traffic soon, so you can play it in LC too.

I don't see anything wrong with the animations used for the subway doors.

MLL is planned to have major work put into it later on.

DYOM support is kindof a question mark.

Have you considered about making the actual "the planetarium" night club, since liberty city doesn't have any clubs at all, would be really cool, what about the capital autos, and it's "car salesman" side mission/odd job (in liberty city stories)

Since San Andreas has wang cars/import & export side mission, and Vice City has sunshine autos.

Also i wanna ask about cartel mansion, no garage and the interior is so small for such a high price, is there any purpose for it 'cause of the high cost?

- Also a side mission such as "Bus Driver" would work in the same way, could be activated by either driving a "Coach" or a "Bus", like the Taxi missions are activated via "Taxi", "Cabbie", "Borgnine" or "Bickle '86".

- Speaking of the taxis, it would be good to add the Borgnine to spawn at the Taxi depot at Harwood and the Bickle '86 at the Taxi depot in Trenton (also the cars would be updated to match the other updated cars in LC).

- Also, as far I as know when exploring the cities the "Ghost car" or Deimos cars from LCS have not been added yet in updated versions for SA?

 

 

NEW SIDE MISSION IDEA --- "Car Collector"

 

- Another very fun side mission would be called "Car Collector". This mission could be activated by finding a tow truck, spawning behind of Joey's Garage.

- When you start the mission, you will be given the choice of collecting one of four cars, spawned around different areas of the island you start the mission on. Once you reach one of the cars, you must obtain that one. The other cars will not appear on the map until you have delivered the car you have found. All the car locations should be randomised and the scenarios of the cars as well. These are the scenarios of the cars:

 

1. the car is in pristine condition, and is parked.

2. the car is broken down, is on light grey smoke, and is on the road.

3. the car is being attacked by some thugs, and starts out in pristine condition - don't let it be destroyed!

4. the car is parked, but is being watched by the cops - you will attain two stars and police will start to chase you but you will lose them once you return the car to Joey's Garage - you can respray the car if the cops are chasing you.

 

- Then once you have the car hooked up, you have to deliver it back to Joey's Garage. If you complete the job, the three other previous cars will spawn on the map, as well as a new one (randomised location and scenario again).

- You are timed throughout the mission, and if leave your vehicle you have 60 seconds to get back inside.

- Once you start the mission you are timed, when you obtain a car with the tow truck, you are given added time. Speed bonuses for the jobs give you bonus money. Each delivery pay increases as well if you continue to make more in a row, until you reach 12 cars.

- Once you have stolen 12 cars, the side mission is completed.

I aswell agree with DeathKnight3 LC needs a club it has none so far. As far as i know the planetarium is just mentioned in the RiseFM, but doesn't make an actual appearance in the game.

Having blips for the airport (where to purchase a ticket) would be helpful.

It's not from the 3D era, but that drug dealing minigame from Chinatown Wars would be a lot of fun.

I wanna say that it's odd that enterence to the airport (to buy the ticket) is in the other side in LC.

 

Also, what about rusty brown's donut shop? It should be in liberty city, since it appears in LCS, while being replaced in GTA III.

That's very time consuming, however some side missions are planned to be introduced soon, for now you can play the offroad challenges from III and VC in Snapshot 3.2 already.

I also have another idea, though I think it would be difficult to make - its still worth a shot!

 

A side mission called "Basketball". You play a basketball game simply. Can be activated in Portland Park, Staunton Park or Los Santos Park (I don't know if Vice City or SF and LV have any basketball courts, but if they do then the mission could be activated there too).

 

This mission would end with which ever team gets the most shots of the ball in the net, simply basketball in GTA Undergound. The time for each game would be 6 minutes (1/2 the time of a quarter game in an average NBA game, of a total time of 48 mins, but in GTA the time would be 24 mins total because having the time too long would make it too boring. Since in GTA you only can play as one character in single player, you play the same team for four games.

 

If you win 3 or 4 (all games), then you win the tournament. If you don't win any games, or only 1 game, you lose the tournament. If you win 2 games, you have to play penalties up to 5 (5 for players on each team, including CJ in the team you get to choose who you want to play as. You should also be able to choose to play on which team out of four teams before stating the game, as well as choosing to play one game, two games, three games or a tournament (four games).

My suggestion is to remove the script of peds walking to nowhere inside the places (Mansion, InterGlobal Studios, Sunshine Autos) in Vice City.

-1998-2001: Big Shot Casino is renamed Kenji's Casino..

 

 

 

P:S before suggestions: GTA:U is after GTA:SA events no? So maybe the future possible storyline will be in 1993.

 

Suggestions:

 

 

- In some buildings, should be posters with Roger C.Hole (https://imgur.com/1HGubpN) with another clothes, like a winner of elections. -> this is to be more loyal to GTA 3D Timeline

- Maybe CJ's death will be in 1994, so in 1993, CJ receive a lot of attacks from Salvatore's men in LC or Las Venturas (or another city, idk) -> becuase "You're dead CJ!!" -Salvatore Leone.

- Well... LC is from GTA 3(2001), and GTA:Underground is before 1998, so.. the real name (GTA:U -> 1992-1993) is Big Shot Casino, no? -> the same reason to first suggestion.

 

 

 

P.S2: Idk if GTA:Underground is before or after GTA:SA events, so i did this suggestions thinking GTA:U is after GTA:SA story.

 

P.S3: I have more suggestions about the future possible storyline of GTA:Undergound, i think the mod will be in 1993 (after) because can take advantage of the cities.

For example: GSF expansion in other cities, CJ helping Woozie with jobs in LC or/and VC and avoiding and killing Salvatore's men, or CJ helping new allies (possible new characters?, who knows). But, the storyline of GTA:Underground isn't in current plans of @dkluin . Maybe in a future i'll publish my suggestions of the story.

One question too, if you are going to eventually connect all the cities with land, I would recommend starting with connecting the cities via a Railway system, for example, the big city hall like building in South Staunton, looks very much like the New York Grand Central station. It would be a perfect fit, to add the interior from Market station (Los Santos) into the entrance of the building. The building has never been used before, so giving it an underground station would give it a new meaning!

 

Also add a teleporter marker for the Love Media Building tallest building and the skyscraper that looks like empire state building next to the building I mentioned above. The teleport-er marker would be like for the LS skyscraper and the LC construction site tower (eventually)

UG:MP will have F1 cars wich is awesome

 

Makes more sense to have at least one IndyCar in the game, because the game is based in the United States, and in the late 80s and 90s IndyCars were way more popular than F1.

Btw I don't know if you guys alread have an idea to make something like this.

DKluin, I have some good ideas which would help this mod. They are mainly towards Liberty City.

 

- Firstly, you should add purchasable businesses in LC, much like Vice City. These businesses would be (each with their own icon on the radar):

 

Shoreside Vale:

 

- Punk Noodles

- Liberty Pharmaceuticals

- AM Petroleum Company

 

Staunton Island:

 

- Love Media Building

- Liberty Tree Office

 

Portland Island:

 

- Easy Credit Auto Cars Shop

- Bitch 'n' Dog Food Factory

- Mean Street Taxis (in Harwood - I should also mention that the Harwood district is not implemented in LC, this is an urgent and must fix!)

 

Also, there is some strange passage way interior on top of some buildings south of Staunton Island, opposite the church. This interior does not make any sense to me, can someone please explain it to me.

 

Also, while on the topic of interiors these should be added:

 

Las Venturas:

 

- add another unused Rusty Brown's interior for Tuff Nut Donuts store, with the Rusty Brown's icon on the radar

- re-implement restaurant World of Coq with features to order food in single player, as well as icon on radar

- give city planning department, Caligula's Casino and Four Dragons each their own unique icon on the radar

 

San Fierro:

 

- add unused SF police department to the SFPD building

- re-implement restaurant World of Coq with features to order food in single player, as well as icon on radar

- Give the Zero's RC Shop and Wang Cars each unique icons on the radar

 

Los Santos:

 

- re-implement restaurant World of Coq with features to order food in single player, as well as icon on radar

 

Liberty City:

 

- add interior of Donald Love's apartment in the super tall skyscraper in LC (the tallest one), make it a purchase-able apartment.

- add interior to Claude's apartment in Staunton, make it a purchase-able safehouse [use Toni's portland safehouse from LCS for this safehouse interior]

- add interior to Claude's apartment in Shoreside Vale, make it a purchase-able safehouse [use an existing SA interior that resembles the flat like structure]

- make Cipriani Restaurant a place to eat with a restaurant icon, with an interior from the World of Coq

- add interior from the Slash TV / GTA LCS Mission #30 The Chainsaw Masquerade - to the SPANK container ship in Portland Harbor, the side mission "Slash TV" from LCS could also return by doing this

- give LCPQ HQ in Staunton Island an interior, same as the Vice City interior, along with the "police" icon

- the roof on the Liberty City stadium should be redone to fit the colour of the 8 Track mission interior as well as roof should completely cover all sides of the stadium, currently it doesn't

 

Vice City:

 

- Love Fist recording studio its own unique icon on the radar

 

Other important suggestions:

 

Liberty City:

 

- add LCS Triads to the Chinatown Triad gang

- minor fix spacing between Colombian Cartel gang war areas

- change the AT 400 planes to the Airtrains, spawning at Francis Intl Airport, same should be for replacing the Shamals with the Learjets

- delete the solid helicopter textured shell on Kenji's Casino helipad and replace with the GTA 3 maverick (already has been made according to car spawner, civilian version of GTA 3 helicopter)

- add the enter-able and controllable police maverick from LCS to the LCPD's fleet at 3-5 stars wanted level - like the VCPD have both the tan and green VCPD mavericks which are enter-able and controllable

- at 6 stars, new helicopters which will spawn to follow you should now be Hunters, firing missiles or shooting at the player randomly; the chance of the heli shooting missiles should be lower than shooting its gun

- change the LCPQ HQ logo on the building to white with black lettering, and take away the two white lines - as the original logo represents the original paint job of the LCPD police cars

 

Vice City:

 

- get rid of the solid textured airtrain shells still left in Escobar Intl Airport, the terminal nearest to Fort Baxter military base. Replace these three airtrains with the enter-able and controllable airtrain (already made according to the car spawner)

 

San Andreas:

 

- at 5 stars, the beta vehicle FBI Truck should be added to chase down the player along with the FBI cars. The FBI Truck like in the beta would also have one cop in a turret gun on the top.

That's a great idea, I very much agree with The Planetarium! I know the perfect place where it would be located. On the west side of Belleville Park, there is a skyscraper with huge vertical glass panels, right next to the road which goes underneath the building next to its right side (when looking straight forward at it). The front of it has two images on the left and right of the entrance, each with a "blue planet" similar to saturn.

Great idea, but i thought about Portland, close to the warehouse (where Maria goes to the party in the mission in GTAIII) in the worst case scenario the warehouse itself could be replaced with a club.

I was thinking that, since MLL is based on Chicago ( Al Capone's town) you could add a 1920's mob car and also maybe a Tommy Gun.

 

EDIT: I just thought of something else: the base game already has an unused but fully functional interior for the SFPD HQ, maybe you could add that to the mod.

 

EDIT 2: Nevermind all I said, the Tommy Gun is already available with the weapon spawner and the Hustler would be good for a mob car. Also, the SFPD HQ has already been suggested.

Can you add an golden ak47 or deagle or both ? Like you need to do a mission in singleplayer and it will spawn like a pickup , only as a aestethic . On multiplayer you could probably unlock it through a quest-like mission and have it in your home or by going to a certain location to pick it up ( usually on SAMP when the player dies , he/she loses all/most of his weapons and on relog ) or by having it in Amunation for free or very low price . Like as a bonus for 25 missions you get the golden deagle unlocked and at 50 missions you get the golden ak 47 . You ask yourself : Why to add something that is exactly the same as the original ? Oh , well , I thought having such a weapon would be nice distinction and who doesn't love to shoot people with a golden deagle or ak 47 ? The other reason is adding skins that you only see kind of kills the feel .

They are not HD . HD cars and weapons with bright textures look to unnatural on old game like this .

 

Another idea would be some armored vehicles , like a armored Sultan or some SUV or idk ,which would be more resistant to explosions and bullets than usual vehicles ( if it's possible) , also some ramming cars too :D .

 

It would be nice if you made civilian variants of : nrg 500, hotring racer (all three) .

Vehicle decals,any colorable CJ clothes.

Maybe there's a way to get Tommy and Claude changeable clothes just like CJ?

More vehicle rims, open the closed donut shop in SA, add soda opinion in fast food places, fast food drive-by,construction builders fight with hammers, vehicle neons, buyable exploadable barrel to place anywhere, binoculars I know you could use sniper but cool anyway. Add army peds and vehicles at Area 51.
