Two of the best 3D era games GTA VCS & LCS Are on competition

Storyline - LCS (wtf why did I write that?) VCS

A.I. - Not sure, don't they have it pretty much the same? Although I did notice more things happening in LCS than in VCS, like pimps punching hoes and cops on the streets going after gang members. I'll leave this one a tie/undecided.

Map - LCS, Liberty City was always a much more interesting map than Vice City.

Vehicles - LCS

Physics - Tie/They're the same.

Features - VCS, Empire Building is one of the best GTA features ever added. And the fighting mechanics are f*cking awesome.

Two great games! Although LCS has a wider range of vehicles, VCS has an all-round better story line with more features.

BUT WAIT! In VCS you have to put up with Lance the dumb-ass for the whole game, where as in LCS (WARNING --- SPOILER ALERT) You have to put up with Vinnie, but you kill him off pretty early in the game so even though there is no Characters option, LCS had better characters in my opinion.

A.I. in LCS,since in VCS if you're at war with multiple gangs, they attack your empire and send hitmen after you every few seconds. In LCS you can easily escape those hitmen Toni's mom sends after him.

Everything else,I prefer VCS,the story (prequel to VC), the map (I wasn't really a fan of 3D LC map), the vehicles (there's much better variety of vehicle), the physics (not sure is it physics-related,but in VCS you could grapple and throw NPCs), and features (empire building, gang recruitment, passenger NPCs in a car helping you do a drive by, swimming, soundtrack...).

While VCS had some useful features like swimming, the A.I is better in LCS, so is the more detailed Liberty City, the storyline, maps, character background, physics and vehicles.

I'd put that under features.

Storyline is easily LCS, but for map, I guess I'm biased as I've worked on it for soo long I can see all the small subtle changes on the VC map compared to the LC one in LCS which had much larger noticeable changes (though I do love Fort Staunton in LCS).

GrudgefromSanAndreas

LCS has better vehicles (though Polaris V8 and Gang Rancher are interesting), more interesting map and axe!

VCS had more features, better physics like when you drive supercars full speed, there's that effect from nfs which is better than SA blur or something.

A.I. not sure and don't really care much about storyline

BTW i didn't really play those games cause it wasnt easy for me to play any game on ps nor psp and the emulator didnt work, i just saw some youtube videos and voted cause both games are interesting.

Storyline - LCS won for 51:49.

A.I - Same, but LCS for my taste. Drive-by in VCS is way too overpowered and even i think it almost ruined the game.

Maps - VCS, though i love LC.

Vehicle - VCS. How can LCS win without flying things?

Physics - Same. Is there anything different between them?

Features - VCS. Gang war, Swimming......

Wait what, did VCS and LCS poll get reversed? My votes are all on the opposite games, or I didn't pay attention back in January. Time to edit XD

Everything VCS... except for Map.. but I vote for LCS map only after you blow up half of Staunton. Then the map gets good. *insert evil laugh*

You were part of the VCS development team then?

VCS All the way. Much better story and protagonist. I really felt like LCS was too much of a rethread of GTA III, reusing the same characters too much, not to mention a sh*tty antagonist, who only shows up once before you kill him. He was never really buildt up to be hated IMO.

As for features, I think the empire building is an overall improved and expanded take on turf wars from GTA SA

"Empire Building" feature in VCS was the best and I had so much fun with the game. VCS is so underrated to be honest.

VCS wins in every way. Especially the story, it didn't feel like they tried there with LCS.

Algonquin Assassin

VCS. Despite being a massive fan of Mafia themed media LCS done very little to captivate me. I mean it was cool as a title for the PSP, but Toni was a forgettable protagonist IMO and nothing else stood out about it.

Lock n' Stock

It's a close call for me, though I'd say LCS slightly inches out, for this alone.

Hmmm nice bike

-Cox mascot outfit-

As soon as that outfit was unlocked, that was pretty much all I wore for the rest of the game.

Between the two PSP GTAs, VCS is my personal favorite. I thought the storyline was more memorable, you could actually swim and didn't have to worry about accidentally walking off a dock or driving off a bridge and drowning, and the soundtrack was way better than LCS. LCS wasn't a bad game, and given that it was their first time ever doing a game for the PSP with the resources they were allowed for such a device (and probably on a budget much lower than previous titles), they still did a great job. But VCS truly felt like an improvement to me, and I found it to be a better game overall.
