Yeah, certainly freemode work seems to help... During the 2x heists and the 2x contact missions, I got nada... As all I did was the event works... Lol...

 

Back to crates, mc, I/E... Cash returns... Promoting the freemode makes sense, as that where the big updates are, business-wise...

 

Like the $2k good sport cash, just weekly for hitting a certain number of things out there...

Pretty much the same deal for me. I play regularly too, but only got it once, back when it first began.

 

On the flipside, i have a friend who barely ever plays, yet who seems to get a cash bonus from R* every few weeks. He just logs in, collects his money and logs back out.

Try doing VIP work. I got up to 14 rewards by doing it and when I stopped so did the rewards.

Not sure what the criteria is. Over 2 days I received 1.4 million from Rockstar just prior to the Gunrunning release. 400k the first time and 500k twice in the next 24 hours.

 

My brother on the other hand got a grand total of $747.

 

I'm just grateful.

I should of kept track but R* gave me a ton in the last 2 months. I stopped playing after the beach bum update all the way til I/E and came back got 1 million(2x 500K), took a SS of $812K then a plethora of $500k plus a $250k the day before the update. Easily over $3million.
