Quick reminder:

 

$250k or $500k - probably the f*cked up giveaway that some people get multiple times

$425k - "tax rebate" ie freebie everyone got for logging in during a period last month

Random number from a few thousand to millions - refund for any RPB content you bought (Marshal, Kraken, Dodo, etc)

@ StormerBoy... Nope! Can't transfer no more... Any progress/purchase on PS3 is for there only, and not transferrable, hence, no payment... Your PS4 account will never know...

 

Besides, that period has passed, the noobs chiming in now cannot read, or they'd have their answers... Mostly why I've given up on this thread, too many still won't read something simple like what Gridl0k posted... A simple list of what's been happening, and what each sum of cash/personal sales could mean...

 

For me, it's just random now, all my theories are debunked, man others too... Certainly the only 2 consistencies are R* mailing list from the social club, and pot luck...

 

No complaints, free is free... All goes in the pot for R* to get back when gunrunning is released...

So you're saying that if I turn on my ps3, buy the dodo, turn on ps4 and get a refund for it?Unfortunately no. The purchases would have to have been made before a certain date and likely before your character transfer.

 

That being said, the refund is because said vehicles are now free so you can pretend you spent the money and had it refunded as your overall balance would be the same now anyway:

 

1,000,000

- 750,000 (old cost of liberator)

+ 750,000 (refund for old cost of liberator)

= 1,000,000.

 

Vs

 

1,000,000

- 0 (current cost of liberator)

+ 0 (refund of current cost of liberator)

= 1,000,000.
