I usually get the 250k on Fridays. Just checked to see if I was lucky again, and all I have is a new shark card bonus. No 250k this week I guess.

 

Not interested, R*, especially when you won't even remove money that script kiddies 'gifted'.

I was convinced this award had to do with players who don't earn much money while they play. It was the only suggestion put forth by other members I couldn't rule out.

 

Last night I was doing a crate delivery and it started to go south so I quickly shut down the game. I immediately loaded it back up and was greeted with the notification I had just been awarded 500k.

 

So now I'm at a total loss as to what this award is for, but at least I'm not feeling left out any longer.

The award is a thank-you for playing, as per the splash screen, it's the repeated/never payout system that's a mystery, subtle difference but reinforces that there's no one or two triggers.

 

More than anything else, if this were reproducible it'd have been top of 7s for weeks now, those guys don't f*ck around.

Log in today on this account, got the black screen again, but no money added.

Yeah I'm starting to think it's some variable/combination of:

- Time in GTA Online Per Week

- Active/You Complete or participate in activities with others or alone.

- POSSIBLY BUT NOT LIKELY: How much time or money, or progress your active crew has had per week.

 

 

I just stopped by my gf's house today & got the exact rundown of how she & her little sister have gotten $500,000 for the past 3 weeks, every Friday, including just this evening when I was there. It's how I just figured that summary factor above, & is all I'm running on...planning to try it myself this coming week to see how it fairs.

 

SO:

 

They played 1 full hour together in invite only sessions, playing several CEO "Fortified" Missions. (To skip the 30 minute wait after completing one job of Fortified, they changed their outfits/forced quick save & then exited the game via Xbox menu, then loaded back in & were able to start the mission back up right away after getting back online.) So for a full hour they did that, Monday-Thursday for the past 3 weeks, & they've both gotten $500,000 every Friday on those weeks.

 

Now given that, I'm going to try it this week solo, to see if other players have any factor in this experiment of mine.

If it works out, then it is a element of time online accumulated throughout each week, OR after a certain amount of time you are rewarded cash the next time you log in.

Unsure personally if completing jobs, missions, takes is necessary....I'll test out doing nothing next time.

 

Other possibilities are:

- Number of jobs, missions, activities completed, a certain number rewards you the bonus money when the system checks weekly,

- A certain amount of RP gained, you receive the money when the system checks weekly.

- Certain amount of Good Sport rewards collected????

 

 

*Again I doubt R* will ever reveal how this reward system works, because then people would try to exploit it.*

The detection system is likely a sweep similar to the the anti-ban systems, thus why people get it at different times.

I've heard of this bonus, but I've never received it. Only time Rockstar has ever given me money, was that one time when they were fixing the deleted character glitch and that was roughly $250k....then again a few months or so ago I got $100k but it's something everyone got.. I think it was a Christmas gift or something...

 

I'm also, generally a daily player, doing MC/VIP stuff with a friend or two for an hour or so each night...do daily objectives..etc

 

I also randomly get the $2,000 for good behavior nearly everyday, but never had the $250 or $500k bonuses.

You must do all 3 objectives (interactive menu), every day in a row, you cannot miss a day, but will be rewarded well if your a daily player... And after day 28, it restarts... The bonuses repeat!... $1.4m per month, more if you win the jobs it suggests...

 

I've done 3 dailies every day for over a year, I recently stopped, as I have little need for the cash and just don't play as hard, but from rank 15, until 500 they were key to helping me make great cash, good RP too..

WTF, I just got 100k on my secondary account that I haven't logged into at all this week untill now and the week before did nothing but sell 35 elegys. First time I've got anything on any account. Guess it's simply time based as it's taking me a while to offload all these Elegys I don't want anymore.

Got $500k this morning

Im about to blow all the theories of play time and activity up quite a bit. I literally have not inserted the disc in my Xbox for months, about 3 months or so to be exact. I had received the initial 250k when all this first started, but nothing afterwards. Very casual play time between then and now maybe an hour per week, with one or two week gaps between, then with that huge break of 3 months. Logged in last night and poof, 400k in my bank account. My crew is a whole 2 other people and neither of them have logged on in the past 3 months as well.

This is a lucrative way of making a fair amount of cash. I know that the very first time (at least on Xb360) for the first time you did it, you got an extra bonus $500k....so you really got $1million after 28 days..but everytime after that, it's only $500k....I've completed this 3-4 times...2 days to go for my next $500k....unless of course I have to collect a bounty...then Rockstar will have screwed me over.

Daily objectives were great at the original 6000rp but they were temporarily halved to 3000rp during the daily objectives repeat glitch and Rockstar "forgot" to change it back to 6000.

If you had purchased the Marshall, Dodo, Stallion, Blista, or Kracken, you get that money refunded. They used to be returning-player exclusives. Now, anyone can buy them, but returning players can get them for free. In a surprising move, those that bought them in the past are getting that money refunded.
