Got kicked off the server loaded up again and received 250K! 2nd time in 2.5-3 weeks,4th or 5th time overall.

These last 2 Times I did notice I was doing a for amount of grinding CEO crates and then Bank Heist. I had not done either in a while especially heist which I hadn't done for over a year.

I only got 250000, so don't think it's to do with hiring associates as I do that all the time.

 

If this stared in January, and according to some people the December DLC was supposed to be the last. So maybe this is part of the balance and run down after dlcs have finished? What I mean is, when Rockstar finally stop making dlcs, they will keep us playing the game (in a way that doesn't cost them anything ie not developing new content) by giving us free money, in medium sized amounts, but only if we keep playing?

7th reward yesterday. All I did the last 2 weeks was play the new resurrection mode, a lot, and I made around 5 millions out of it.

What if it comes after you earn a certain amount of job money. Are you guys getting this actively playing for money, ie currently earning?. Are any of you just stuffing around like I do.

Reported 2 OBVIOUS cheaters with modded accounts, level/KD... login next day to a gift of 500k. Coincidence? Getting harder to believe it is. Has anyone else gotten 500k in one gift yet??

What if it comes after you earn a certain amount of job money. Are you guys getting this actively playing for money, ie currently earning?. Are any of you just stuffing around like I do.

For the last two weeks, I've just been goofing around. No major CEO/MC work, and I still got my 9th 250k yesterday. I've reported lots of script kiddies in between but that isn't the reason why. People who've never reported modders are getting it too.

@ elfoam... I did dude, I played less, had 2 nights where I did very little and a night off too... I only got $250k mind, gonna do purely I/E for the next week and see if I get anything next Thursday... That seems to be 'my' day... last week, it was just contact missions, races, coke, goofing, and the odd heist job... Nothing new or significant you know?... And I broke the 'log in daily' routine deliberately too...

 

Genuinely, I feel, 20hrs+ and you'll get higher tier IF you are on the mailing list, less hours, less cash, or private sales... It seems the most common trait amongst regular contributors, but I dare say something to dispel most anything could happen...


@ duskpanthers... Enjoy your yacht man... There's a thread out there asking if players would sell it if possible, you may find inspiration or agree with those saying it's the worst $8m or so to spend... Personally, love it...

no regrets, i bought after reading all the threads out there. I know it is a massive money sucker but I just want a yacht to show my boys who's the boss and keep them in my crew. Boss gotta boss.

I exported top range car from warehouse,two players come in buzzard and they destroyed my car,ok.Next day I got $250k award,coincidence?

Probably yea. I've never gotten cargo destroyed, and I've gotten the 250k a few times.

I'm aways earning, still only once.

 

Honestly every single possibility that has been posted, I've done it and I've done the opposite too.

 

It's random, or at best related to something you did when you got it first time, imo.

 

Still working on it though. Interesting that HH got it for the second time only just now. What have you done differently last few days?

The people who are regulary getting the 250k, does anybody of you have been banned before? Two of my friends have never been banned and got the 250k twice, me and another friend have been banned before and we never got any of that bonus money. Seems like bans play a role in the whole bonus money thingy.

I believe it was last week or so that I logged in and received $250k.

 

Just last night, I logged in and was given another $500k.

 

I don't know if this is just random or if there's some sort of criteria for receiving money from R*. Maybe submitting reports on obviously modded accounts finally caught their eye?

I did report a few people (you know, someone threatens to falsely report me, then I have to return the favour).

 

Other than that ... I haven't been in bad sport for a while I guess?

I just got 500k after 2 months of not getting any random 250k drops. I got the targeted sales in that time period instead. Didn't get the sales this week, though, so maybe the two are slightly linked? Or maybe I'm just lucky.

Interesting. Well, I didn't follow the entire conversation on this money gift but just assumed that this would only be going out to players who had bought at least one shark card before.

Never did, never will. But today I was given 250k out of the blue. Hadn't reported anyone or (I think) done anything else that would warrant such mild generosity.

 

What I have done some time ago, maybe months ago by now, is sign up for the news letter thing or whatever that was on the social club website. What's going on here?
