Porsche07lap
Hi, I made a post on the recruitment thread, is it possible I can have it moved over to the crew section? Or instead, if allowed, keep it on recruitment but have the same one on recruitment? That would be just swell... Solution ~Tiger~ Posted January 4, 2017 Solution Share Posted January 4, 2017 (edited) Hi, I made a post on the recruitment thread, is it possible I can have it moved over to the crew section? Hello, are you saying that you would like to have a Crew Chat thread in Crews Section and a Recruitment Thread in the Recruitment Section? Your existing post reads like a recruitment post so may be best to keep it where it is. You do need to abide by the Recruitment Section Rules though: no double posting and bump only once per week. If you want to post a new chat thread in Crews Section for your crew to talk about their exploits, go ahead. The rules there are less strict but the normal Forum Rules apply. I took a look at some of the posts between crew and recruiting and, although crews posts get far more attention, I'm guessing being in the recruitment threat would prove more effective. ~Tiger~
crews posts get far more attention, I'm guessing being in the recruitment threat would prove more effective. You can still advertise your Crew in your Crew Chat topic and link to your Recruitment Thread from your Chat Thread OP. So done cleverly, you can maximise the traffic to your Recruitment Topic without the need to keep bumping it. ~Tiger~
I was just not simply sure if that would be allowed. Yes, it's fine. The Recruitment Section is very competitive as all Crews want to get as many views as possible, so for that reason we have rules about double posting, bumping and a ban on multiple topics in the Recruitment Section. The Crew Chat section is much more relaxed and any topic of chat is allowed as long as the Forum Rules are adhered to. It may be worth your while browsing the topics in both sections so you get a feel for the way the sections work and feel free to take inspiration from others, without directly copying them.
