Changes that should happen with the new Special Vehicles

Solo Wing Pixy

With the release of the new Special Vehicles, most of them are horribly overpriced for what capabilities they offer. And after a lot of testing with each and every single new special vehicle I've come up with some ideas on how to improve them in which if the reception from the community is good, I'll send and pester R* my suggestions.

 

Ruiner 2000

 

Although its a very fun vehicle to drive and shoot around with, the price of 4.3-5.7 Million is just too much for what this car can offer. Its limited missiles, horrendous durability and weak machine guns make it hard to justify the high price tag.

 

My suggestion:

 

  • Increase missile capacity to 24 to give it a better offensive capability
  • Increase machine gun damage to at least Buzzard miniguns or Technical gun damage instead of the useless guns we have now.
  • Give it bullet resistance windows like the mission variant
  • Make it durable enough to withstand some explosions (maybe 3 rockets before exploding?) Don't make it as durable as the Insurgent though.
  • When switching weapons if the player hits "R" twice the player can disable the weapons & jump/parachute capabilities of the vehicle to allow them to use standard drive-by weapons. So in case they run out of missiles they won't feel completely useless since the player can use drive-by weapons to deter others chasing them.
  • Upon firing missiles onto fixed-wing aircraft such as jets, missile speed should be greatly increased so jets won't just easily outrun them using a standard maneuver.

 

Rocket Voltic

 

There really isn't anything I can add to this one.. except one. Its an incredibly fun car to stroll around.

 

  • Give players the ability to activate the rocket remotely while outside the car, not through phone but maybe through the interaction menu or a hotkey. This will allow for some interesting ways of doing things with this car. For example, throwing a sticky on it, a enemy passes by, hit the rocket and as soon as the rocket car nears the enemy blow up the sticky. Would be a fun way of killing players!

Armored Boxville

 

Horrible value for the price. Even an Insurgent beats this vehicle in almost every category for less the asking price.

 

  • Give it bulletproof tires, this is a necessity for an expensive vehicle like this!
  • Make it durable enough to withstand explosions, ensure it is nearly as durable as the Insurgent pick-up
  • Increase turret viewing angle, right now its impossible to shoot at targets very close to the vehicle

 

Karin Technical Aqua

 

Probably the best value special vehicle added in this update. An extra 200 K for a technical with amphibious capabilities & ability to be customised at LSC, combined with its powerful gun makes it an excellent AA platform. No suggestions for this one.

 

Blazer Aqua

 

A great special vehicle severely limited by its weak machine guns.

 

  • Like with the Ruiner 2000 suggestion, if the player hits "R" twice it will disable the weapons which will allow the player to use their drive-by weapons. This suggestion alone would make the Blazer Aqua worth its high price tag
  • Increase the damage of the machine guns to the level of the Buzzard's miniguns, they are incredibly weak right now.

Ramp Buggy/ Phantom Wedge

 

The durability of these special vehicles are horrible. The purpose of them is to ram/ fling vehicles, yet they get destroyed for doing just that?

 

  • Make both of these special vehicles as durable as the mission variant. Although the mission variant still explodes after ramming/flinging many vehicles they are significantly more durable as the ones with have now.

 

Wastelander

 

For a vehicle that can hold 6 players with 4 of them being able to shoot bigger weapons, its a pretty good value. However many players including me would like to see the following:

 

  • Ability to carry vehicles outside of missions and the VIP work associated to it
  • Ability to carry multiple crates, - which would then make this special vehicle a must-buy for CEOs that like to do cargo missions solo.

 

 

All of these suggestions should make each aforementioned vehicle worth the price tag.. I hope

The ruiners rockets should be unlimited, it should survive 1 explosion, the boost of the rocket voltic should be able to be pressed till infinity, the boxvile should survive 1 explosive, same for the karin technical, the ramp buggy should be indestructable by using the ramp and the blazer aquas machine gun should be aimable in 45 degrees horizontal and vertical...same for the mg on the ruiner

They should increase the durability for the BF Ramp Buggy. It gets destroyed after 15 to 20 Ramp stunts. That's a waste of the sh*t ton of amount you spent on buying it. And that too you need a new warehouse as well.
