OpenIV Team presents Liberty City in GTA V

Here's my logo concept, also I suggest a name change to "Open IV team presents Liberty Five". There're 4 versions of the logo.

 

1) Black background + green five

2) White background + green five

3) Black background + transparent five

4) White background + transparent five

Just a name for the mod that come in my mind, it is a little sh*tty but idk.

Random cars beign stored inside the Grotti Dealership instead of Turismos is just... ..shocking. Would it be possible to spawn just specific models in several locations? Same with Westdyke Autos(Nrg 900's) and Auto EroticCar(Gracie Ancelotti pink Feltzer, a red Turismo, a PMP 600...)The latest version of IV Pack by _CP_ includes those vehicles.

At this moment all non-existing cars in V are replaced by a random car, will be fixed somehow in future. Also zones/popcycle/popschedule should be converted because only few car models are spawned as random at the moment.

If you played enough GTA IV you should know what i'm reffering to. You can see in the picture at full resolution, a Tailgater( or a Gallivanter), a Premier and a bit of a Rhapsody... Those cars are manufactured by Obey and Declasse. Only Grotti cars should be stored there because it's a GROTTI showroom.

While I do find the attention to detail important, that would be in the lowest priority in my list.

 

I mean, they converted a ton of models, textures, collisions, timed objects, props and all the like from a game to another. And then a Grotti showroow is displaying Declasse vehicles, so what?

We can have interiors too?

 

As I've see on posted screenshots from their Alpha version, appear all interiors are converted too, as you can see from screens captured from the car multi-story parking garage in Bohan / Broker and the Vehicle showroom in Algonquin. Other interiors, like staircase ones from apartment multi-story buildings taking you to their's roofs and Niko Bellic's savehouses are probably also converted as well.

According to the plan of not including anything you haven't explicitly bought, you will get interiors from GTAIV.

I am not sure how the interiors from the Episodes will be handled, maybe "exclusive OR" manner, until stated otherwise.

Would be sweet to have all interiors if you own all Episodes on one map, but that will be a challenge OpenIV Team will have to tackle.

So, for example I have a modded GTA IV using texture pack like lord neophyte textures.

Can I use the converter to convert liberty city with those new textures to GTA V ???????

Just some input on the location,first judging by the night screenshot LC looks too close to LS,second the location that you have LC in is very close to LS airport,so i guess that might ruin it if you wanted that traveling to another city vibe.

It would be better if it was located at one of these points,it would feel more realistic as if you were really traveling to another city either if it was by sea or air.

I strongly doubt it is possible to move the whole SA map to any place without too much unnecessary effort. The LC map will have to be fit in, not vice versa.

For Celestia's sake, does it really matter that much where LC will be located? Not being rude, whoever wants to move the city either makes it possible by hacking the limits and helps the community a lot along the way or keeps the silence and lives with it forever.

Currently we have only one location where Liberty City will fit without changing GTA V navmesh and nod boundaries. And Liberty City is placed in this location.

It is technically possible to rotate Liberty City, but it will require a lot of time to implement and will lead to plenty of other issues.

 

So, Liberty City is stay where it is now for a while.

Yes, you no need it after files were converted.

i´m not sure, but i think navi is for the GPS, and the nod is for the path files

Navi stands for navmesh which is used for ped paths.

so this means if he would place the map outside the navi borders, ped paths wouldnt work then? no AI/NPC outside the borders ?
