Rolling the dice - your most dreaded resupply missions

Recommended Posts

We all breathe a sigh of relief when we sell stock as a MC leader, walk outside of our lab, and DON'T see those dreaded box trucks. I always get a big smile when I see the motorcycles lined up or the boat icon.

What about the resupply missions? When you hear LJT or your CEO assistant tell you where the goods are at what missions make you say "nope, find a new session" ???

For me none of the crate drops are TOO bad. Even in the Import/Export none of the car pick ups are THAT bad although I don't appreciate the race all the way up to the lighthouse or flying to paleto to pick up a car with a cargobob.

To me the MC club resupply missions are the worst. And it seems like they've gotten worse too. When they first started IT SEEMED like they were local to Sandy Shores.....but now I find myself having to drive all the way down into LS more and more often.

For me:

"We've got some good news and bad news....the good news is we found the coke...the bad news is we don't know WHICH VAN IT'S IN"....please proceed to travel all the way to the bottom of the map and chase 3 moving targets without other players interfering in your business!

OR

Knock the Lost off their bikes......same as above, they're driving all over the city.

So which ones annoy you most?

Non Funkable Token

The Lost use to be riding in the city so it's not bad if you have your active business there, like me.

Aztecas, Ballas or Korean mob, the guy with the stash is always up north of the map. Use your Pegasus Buzzard to get him fast and then you get less than 1 bar of supplies :catspider:

Can only comment on the CEO missions as I don't have a bike club or import/export business. IMO the worst one is the Marquis mission, especially with 2 or 3 crates. The other one on the list is the Valkyrie one.

Tequi-La-La Resupply Mission for the win.

I have never despised the Lost so much for the number of times they've killed me with knives and baseball bats when were not allowed to smuggle weapons in the club

ourselves.

Nowadays I just take my bike inside the club with a courtesy stick bomb and let the bomb/flames do all the work. :santa:

I dropped a Z-Type from Cargobob (you know that mission) repair cost was 36k or something can't exactly remember,it wasn't going any higher than that.

Just wanted to share, business resupplies are never too bad.

The securo vans, nuff said.

And if we're talking about source missions it's the cargobob and race to destination against the timer. They piss me off the most

The cargobob pick up and the race to destination. They piss me off so much

I second this. It was a real pain. I had no luck picking it properly a few times. And then I kept crashing on the way. I'm blood awful when it comes to Helis. This took me a lot of attempt to do.

Oh the car bomb too.. especially in the desert. I'm sliding all over the place and then BOOM!

Horses for courses, as I always enjoy the Tequi-La-La mission... it's on of my favourites. And any mission where it says go to point A, pick up the van and just deliver it - so easy.

But they all get tedious after a while, even though we have three different variations of them. There's only so much fetch and deliver you can take.

Kind of reminded me of Up Up & Away from San Andreas. Man, that sucked as well. It's really difficult to fly without drawing any attention or causing damage to the cargo.

Juist had to say my current totals for car bomb missions:

Delivered: 1

Blown Up: 3

I hate car bombs but even more than that I hate tank traffic that spawns just as the bomb activates so you crash and burn straight away.

Resupply missions for the biker gang are almost not worth the time spent if you are a lone wolf. But by far my least favorite has to be the Tequila La la lounge mission. Although i like the idea of a bike bomb mentioned above; my method involves getting bullshark and making a beeline for the club where i will beat everyone to death with my fists in a testosterone induced rage. Oh wearing a helmet actually helps too i found. As for sell missions I can solo pretty much all of them with the exception of Post-op vans. Never post-op is my motto.

I've Delivered: 5 and Blown up like 7 or 8 vehicles if I remember. Mostly Bikes or Z-Types.

MC Business Resupply:

Knock gang members off the bike

Why are they all headed to the far north? Are they headed to CANADA? And it's always the last one that has it. and it's always the onw the furthest away.

Honourable mention: Distract police in PALETO BAY. I don't have time to visit CRAPleto Bay. New session.

Import/Export Car Sourcing.

Cop Chase

At least with the Cargobob it's actually possible to do a no damage run. In the cop chase, the driver's all like "WHEEE HAW LET'S DRIVE INTO EVERY WALL AND DESTROY MAH CAR! WHEEE HAW!" and then he's driving a super with no back window

Honourable mention: Race to point. Face it you LOSER. You lost. Your car is mine. This guy's worse than people who can't accept their political candidate didn't win. And this goes both ways. That guy must be the largest, most adult-looking 8 year old in the game.

All of them...Resupply missions are irrelevant as a solo player. In the time it takes you to fill your supply bars by stealing them you could easily run 3 maybe even 4 crate fetches for 168k in profit. That covers the cost of buying your supplies two fold. Also, in that time frame, you can sell cars or complete VIP work to cover the 70k if you hate fetching crates.

Most of the supply missions involve traveling a great distance away from your business, picking up a slow vehicle and driving it back. It's a time sink (solo). Every time I think to myself, "let's steal some supply to change up what im doing" I almost immediately regret the decision and wish I had purchased my product and chosen a dozen of different alternatives to using that time.

As for delivering...I sell at 1.5 bars to avoid getting two vehicles. In half an hour I can fetch about 200k worth of crates and sell a top range car for 80k. Two post op vans will kill that half hour and still give me less than 200k

Bar fight. Ugh....

And for Import/Export, Car chase. Almost impossible to do without getting a repair bill. And you have to deal with cops to.

The race too, f*ck off I won get over it. You have to deal with being chased from BC to LS, and often get a 5 K bill. And the Cargobob one

Biker resupply: nocking of the vagos. Sometimes they are scattered from the harbour upper to paleto bay

I/E: chasing a stolen car. That mission is so f*cking evil. And calling lester to get rid of the cops sometime does not get them of you. Horrible time and money sink

I agree... I also find driving a motorcycle rigged with sticky bombs into the club is a great way to set fire to the entire bar and kill everyone without ever having to fist fight

Knock biker gang members off their bikes to find their supplies? One is in Elysian Island, one is all the way at the top of the map in Paleto Bay, and the last one is somewhere off circling the highway in LS. Last one will have it, as usual. Stockade vans are the same, it's all over the map.

Import/Export: Time trial missions. 3 minute drive one way, f*cking ages going back because the game sent you to Paleto Bay to grab a stock Nightshade which is a good competitor for the Post OP Van in a drag race while NPCs spawn in the middle of the road so you have to dodge and slow down even more.

Special Cargo: Any mission that's not one vehicle with all three crates is f*cking sh*t. All this tedious back and forth, or going to a location only to be told that it's actually elsewhere, or they have been stolen by a valkyrie full of T-1069 tank unit terminators, or go kill a bunch of doctors and nurses who did not give someone a happy ending and now they're salty. Actually screw that most of those missions are bad... lol you just dropped 20 grand on 3 crates full of some fake counterfeit sh*t, not only do you have to chase it down, you have to find the right tracker signal.

I would punch the bartender. And stay behind the bar. They can only fit in a single file line so it stays one on one. Thats my trick. Tried driving in but it never let me

Oh the car bomb too.. especially in the desert. I'm sliding all over the place and then BOOM!Had one for those missions in the snow yesterday with a powerful RWD vintage muscle car. And it was parked outside a stilt mansion in the Hills. After barely managing to get the car to move the ten feet or so onto the road despite the horrendous wheel spin, I turned the next corner only to be hit head on by an SUV. The bomb had already detonated by the time I managed to get the car moving again.

As for the Cargobob pickups, I've found the the best method is to land on a nearby island, snipe the mooks on the barge from there (or the Buzzard if they're located west of Fort Zancudo), grab the car, drop it as soon as you get to shore, land and hang around in cover for the Buzzards to show up. Bring down four pairs of them and you're good to go. Of course, this is all subject to whether or not the 'Bob's winch decides that it's your friend that day ...

CEO Crates:

The assholes mercs from Merryweather who steals the supplies in a Valkyre, destroying the helicopter is easy, all it takes is one missile from the Buzzard, the problem is killing the mercs with the chopper blades since they all go in separate ways and have aimbot while parachuting, missiles are out of question since you will destroy the crates and if you let them land that's where it gets INSANE, 3 waves of MW assholes in Mesas comes to kill you, plus the mercs with the crates are have the same aimbot as the guys in the Mesas, really f*cking annoying.

Oh did I mentioned that you have to fly back and forth for the crates? Yeah...

CEO Import/Export:

That one mission where there is an asshole being chased by police in the car we have to boost, he ruins the car with his l337 driving skillz, the popo keeps shooting the car for nothing, once we get close the cops forget about him and goes after us!

Everytime I get this mission I just the car the f*ck up, it's not worth getting bent up for that sh*t!

Missiles only destroy crates if crates are alone (colored on green, not red). You can blow up guys holding crates, guys will die and leave the crates untouched.

R* logic in a good way.

CEO steal the bullet proof backed super car as it drives down the highway. The vans in crate work can be just as bad. Tens times worse than cargo bob...which can be done carefully every time.

Also, the dudes driving can take many more shots than npcs. I literallt shotgunned a driver 5 times before he died. Once I get them, I normally unload a clip of auto shotgun into them. Just for good measure.
