I finally figured out who she reminded me of

Mine sounds like Diana, a woman I worked with about 20 years ago at this office when we had cubicles, who used to always say, "hi boss" whenever I'd come over to check on her work, even though she'd be on the phone with her kids telling them to make something to eat and stop fighting over the remote and that she'd be home in a few hours because she had a huge project she was working on, even though I was standing right there and knew the project she was working on was already done and she was just buying time so she could go to the spa on the third floor and just escape for an hour before going home to those two little monsters she made that couldn't even make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on their own, so they called her to tell them how to make it and she'd totally tutorial them on it, sighing and rolling her eyes the whole time.

Seriously. That's who she reminds me of.

Just for the record, Janet Hubert's Vivian was the better mom between the two. Daphne Reid's character was boring and generic, Hubert's portrayal of the mother was way more in-depth complex and realistic.
