Yeah I've done 20 minute rampages a few times. Waited for some hostile lobbies which actually isn't as easy to find as you think!

But each time the lobby disperses. People leave, stay in their apartment or go passive. The last 10 minutes of my recent one I only managed one kill as everyone kept their distance.

There's a few who are aware it's better if they're on foot. A few I noticed got out their car when I approached, so I just back up until they think I've lost interest.

Don't forget the missiles lock on to muggers, if you're after someone particular and they're on foot you can use them as improvised lasing...

When their icon suddenly points the opposite way, that's the second they're getting mugged and ragdolling. "Send".

I did that with a Buzzard once.

I'm having a gay old time PvPing in my R2k, mostly the PV model. The Fully Loaded version is pretty OP against ground targets so I like to keep things sportsmanlike unless the Hydras or kickvotes start flying.

I've been practicing hopping, angling down and firing for going after players on foot. I'm decent with unguided rockets in the Buzzard and some of the principles carry over but its tricky.

I'm honestly considering moving my vehicle warehouse to a more central location so I can reload faster... these drives out to El Burro are getting a bit tiresome XD

^^ +1 on the warehouse move--may follow suit soon on that. I certainly have no regrets switching from the Aquarius to the Pisces on my yachts--far better IMO.

I just need to figure out how to angle down using mouse and keyboard...the Ruiner 2000 can certainly do some amazing things if you use a little imagination. :)

If you memorized where all the turreted limos will be, could you just blow them up when someone tries to start this work?

I'm thinking, maybe that might be an aircraft's best defense against this car - just quickly end their work for them (after that there's something like an hour long cool down).

No, other players can't blow them up. They only drive them into the water. I have seen people drive the turreted vehicle around, with a dead or alive gunner. I tried to get in once, but I couldn't enter it. Maybe because I was in passive mode while it was started. I was able to shoot the gunner, but not the 2nd npc standing nearby. I have even seen people enter the turret aswel.

Other players can also steal the Ruiner from you, for some reason. It's goddang annoying lol.

Today I wanted to let a friend have some fun with the Ruiner but I started up the mission without inviting him to my org, but then I remembered he can enter it anyway, so it's all good. :p

No one has been able to steal mine thankfully. I always park it beside a player and let them shoot me with 5 seconds left on self destruct, comedy gold just as they reach for the door handle.. KABOOM

It is similar to the problem of reappearance on the yacht during Piracy Prevention (I already post a solution). I don't understand what Rockstar has touched, but if you reselect your option in the access to vehicles, in theory, even if you put "for friends", they shouldn't be able to enter in the Ruiner of the VIP job.

Selfdestruct? You rigged it at LCS, or via the menu?

1. Have no PV out

2. Get your ruiner

3. Blow it up

4. Complete a playlist (make your own with Criminal Records x 1)

5. "Request PV" now spawns your ruiner.

6. Destroy to reload

It's a 'glitch' but while the SPV cooldown sticks on 5m forever it's one I'm using.

PS carries into missions, and can be any SPV. We had a bundle of unapproved fun doing contact missions on Blazers Aqua.

One nice spot for Ruiner 2000s to "perch" (low-lying angled roof tops FTW) :)

My K/D has been skyrocketing since I bought this car.

Regular version is at least 8 kills with the upgraded homing launcher.

Ownership allows me to start Fully Loaded which is a god mode version for 20 minutes. This version and most people don't know can withstand a jet's cannon. I take out jets with this version. If somehow it gets destroyed? Another one spawns for you.

This is the best vehicle in the game. Land sea and air.

There is a reason for one hour cool down.

And I thought headhunters and hostile takeover were a good excuse to go on a rampage.Haha, this is awesome, tanks, hydra they're all my b#tch. I had a hydra did a couple of runs on me, got stuck behind a tree so a guy could shoot at least 5 rpgs, and more. All survived with one car. Ducking with the bullet proof helmet worked, other then that, it's a permit to go apesh!t. Definitely a game changer:D Edited by Foppezão

Will definitely need to make sure it's the armoured, VIP version if you want to make it a major griefing tool:

This works even if you don't blow it up. Once you use all the missiles then you can blow it up and request PV again (as long as it has been longer than 5 minutes). I just keep checking after every few cars I blow up to make sure that I am still a clean player (i.e. not dodgy player). Hopefully that will keep me out of the bad sports.

You'll want to start the VIP work Fully Loaded - this gives you an armoured version that has infinite missiles.

I'm not sure if the lock on out-ranges the tank's cannon (I know it's shorter than that of the Buzzard, which only just out-ranges the tank). If it does, then getting a tank while in an armoured Ruiner should be easy enough. Otherwise, it might be a little awkward (1 shot from the tank will throw it around, even if it doesn't destroy it).

Edit: Also, the heliphobia demonstrated in the above post is ... Quite troubling.

Bloody hell. I've been trying to avoid spending more money since buying a bunch of warehouses and you guys are making it awfully difficult for me to resist the temptation of purchasing this baby.

I already had fun with it in the mission to unlock it but seeing it parachute around the city, damn.

So I'm guessing that you can start the special Ruiner VIP mission any time when registered as CEO. But where does the improved version spawn?

Hm, some more questions about it. What's the cooldown after the mission to repeat it or play other VIP missions? And are you limited in any way while doing this mission?

One hour cooldown, It spawns around in a few different places and you can started fully loaded anytime another activity isn't running in the lobby.

Define activity? Surely you don't have to wait until noone is doing any VIP work or even worse - any CEO or MC mission?

The hour cooldown seems steep but fair, keeping down the potential griefing time. And I guess going to collect it isn't that bad so long as noone else is made aware of you starting the mission and there are enough spawn locations so people can't go there and ambush you.
